Hotel Boutique di Jiangsu, China

The iconic Pan Pacific Suzhou is definitely a hotel that you can’t miss! Just driving up the fortress walls to the porte de cochere is an entrance like no other! Definitely fun to go around exploring the grounds of the hotel, and the connecting Panmen district as well! I would highly recommend visiting Panmen at night as it’s prettier with the night lights. Reaching your room may take some time and multiple turns due to the structural layout of the hotel. Rooms are a little dated and could be time for a refresh! Would be good if the hotel could have an extra laundry room so that there are sufficient machines are guests to use. Front desk computers are also too close to each other, offering little to no privacy during check in, especially during peak check in periods.

Overall it was ok , We liked the room’s location and that they had a telescope that my kid enjoyed using , bathroom was big enough . On the other hand the room was very old , worn down and had some stuffiness in the air . I asked the next day to have an air filter installed but it wasn’t when we came back. The room gets really hot even with the AC on ( we are visit h in February so it’s cold outside ) I felt a bit disappointed on the quality of the rooms and facilities for the price . Breakfast was also Ok , variety of Asian and western but things will finish fast and won’t be filled as soon as they are finished . I booked Shanghai-La cause I had great experience in their branches in other countries . I understand it’s an old hotel but I was not happy with the quality price ration wasn’t as expected . Front desk were friendly but took them a while to find our reservation even after I showed them the booking number. We were offered drinks and basket of fruits for the two days we stayed here and I found it kind and a good service . I have few other remarks but don’t need to write them all . It’s a good hotel but not for the price tag .

The time really put on some marks on the hotel. From decoration, to its facilities all have shown a sign of aging.

The hotel staffs are very friendly, no matter the cleaner aunty or security guy, they always great you with smile and make your day. The location is super great as just walking distance to dong guan street and dong guan gu du, alot of nice restaurant around and the utility provided are good quality too! Recommend to stay!

We had a very pleasant stay, and the location truly couldn’t be better. Everything was perfect. The room was cozy, with a very comfortable bed and excellent shower facilities, fully meeting the high standards expected from an IHG hotel. The terrace offers a stunning panoramic view overlooking the entire city and the subway station is just a few steps away, making transportation extremely convenient. Special thanks to 小谢 for her outstanding assistance throughout our stay, as well as to the gentleman who kindly guided us during breakfast in the executive lounge.

The location is great, just a 1-minute walk from the metro station. Many places are also within a few minutes walk. The hotel is nice and clean, and the shampoo smells great. The room features smart controls, which I really love. I would recommend staying here and will definitely come back again. However, I would like to highlight an issue with the night shift front desk service. The staff seemed impatient and lacked courtesy when assisting me.

The water pressure in the shower is strong and very pleasant, and facilities are excellent. It would be great if the variety of meals could be further enriched. Special thanks to Hendery for the room arrangements and the unique hospitality! Looking forward to the next visit!

We were pleasantly surprised by a complimentary room upgrade. The check-in and check-out procedures were smooth with many staff attending to your every needs. They were all very helpful and professional. The hotel is a bit dated but otherwise well maintained. We were thoroughly satisfied with our stay. Location-wise, the hotel is connected to Xinjiekou station and near to many tourist attractions. Breakfast buffet spread was sumptuous with both Chinese and Western varieties with egg station, noodle station and a variety of beverages. Although a large hotel, breakfast never felt crowded and most mornings I was able to enjoy long and slow breakfast. Highly recommended. 

Place is clean. Room is very high tech with personal Chinese AI to help turn on lights, curtain and even tv. Clear separation from smoking rooms. Staff is friendly and very keen to help out. Location is good few minutes walk to mrt and there is a park nearby great for morning run. Breakfast is delicious.
