Hotel Family di Gansu, China

I stayed one night at this recently renovated hotel in Zhangye and was very impressed. The property is elegant and modern, with stylish rooms that are clean, spacious, and comfortable. The staff don’t speak English, but they were extremely helpful, friendly, and supportive, going out of their way to assist us. Breakfast was good with plenty of fresh Chinese options, though the European selection (croissants, cakes, etc.) is quite limited. Great value and well-located. I highly recommend it! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This hostel is the best stay for my trip. Everything ais good. The hotel is decorated with woods, so mostly all are wooden made. Very classy & super clean. Very friendly & helpful stuff. Have free cleaning services. The hostel just in front of the old town which at night u can walk around. Also very near the Fu Si Miao about 15 min walks. There are plenty of restaurant just outside the hostel. Good taste and not expensive too. All the below are within walking distances

Its a very beautiful hotel . Staffs are friendly and smiling . They have huge breakfast selection but i would say its okay in taste wise. Walkable distance to Mingsha Mountain . If you are using a Didi or Taxi to come in this hotel either from airport or from Mogao Exhibition Center , its called Dunhuang Mountain Villa . I noticed that taxi drivers or the App doesnt pull or know The Silk Road Dunhuang Hotel.

We spent 9 days around LanZhou- XiNing - YinChuan staying in the top 5-star hotels in all 3 cities. We can easily conclude that Hyatt Regency LanZhou is the best by a long shot. We were fortunate to have Mr. Yuan of the front desk arrange all our pre check in request. And for a smooth check in- we were lucky to be received by Ms. Paris. She was very gracious and professional. Breakfast at the hotel should be one of LanZhou’s tourist attractions- such a memorable experience. We will definitely be back in the future.

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel, I had issues in another city so I had to go back to Lanzhou and I made my reservation in the last minute for just one night and the staff were very, very helpful! This was the best hotel we've stayed so far in this trip to China, everything was very clean and new, spotless! The breakfast was very good as well and It is very close to the airport. I want to point one specific staff member that was very helpful, and her name is Cassy, she understood how tired we were after all unexpected events during the course of this day, It was late in the night when we arrived and she always had solutions to help us, she even gave me some tips to what to do in Lanzhou and made updates and answered any doubt I had, she also secured a late check out so we could have more time do rest., Even when she seemed very busy she was able to make time to help us. . I feel so much gratitude for her and the staff. Thanks!

這次敦煌之行最期待的就是沙漠露營，體驗完真的超出預期，必須實名好評！營地位置特別好，視野開闊，一眼望過去全是連綿的沙丘，壯闊又治癒，天然美景不用濾鏡就超級驚艷。 一到營地就被氛圍感拿捏住了，隨手一拍都是大片，拍照巨出片！沙漠、落日、帳篷、篝火、星空，隨便哪個角度都很好看，不管是拍氛圍感背影、日落剪影，還是沙漠大片，原片直出都超美，愛拍照的姐妹來這裏絕對能拍過癮。

Our stay was wonderful. The place is very nice, beautiful and clean, the location is perfect with a view on the mountains and the family who lives there is very nice and kind, they take all the time necessary to help you. Thank you again for everything.

Excellent service from staff. It’s very very near to night market. Just a right turn and short walk away. Laundry facilities Washer, dryer are available. Rooms are big enough. Nothing to complain about.

Wonderful 3 nights stay here. Situated at the beginning of the old street, lots of eateries and some shops. Property is beautiful, and surprisingly quiet despite its central location.  Staff all extremely professional and eager to please, from the reception, to chambermaids and breakfast service staff. I’d say they can rival some of the top chain hotels in tier 1 cities.  1 point dropped due to only 2 washing machines for the entire place., making it extremely hard to get an empty machine, especially if you are located in the opposite wing.  Another note is the lack of a privacy screen in the washroom. You can’t put on clothes in the shower since it’s wet but area outside is open with no door. I realise many hotels in Gansu are designed this way so not a specific negative for this property, but something to note if you are not a couple sharing the room.

Fantastic hotel with very kind and helpful staff! They gave great advice about nearby restaurants and shops. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. There is complimentary tea and coffee in the lobby. Despite the language barrier, the staff was amazing. Thank you!
