On baidu map, it says that from Zhangye railway station to the hotel is about 3 km but when actually navigating my way over while carrying a luggage, it was so much further than I'd expect because Zhnagye's road and traffic are quite chaotic. Many traffic lights aren't even in operation and there are quite a few (3 I think) t+junctions that pedestrian have to cross via the underpass. The cars doesn't quite obey the traffic lights, so be careful and cautious. For the hotel itself, it's definitely one of my favorite overall, out of my 3 hotel stays during my trip. According to the receptionist I was offered a room upgrade, so thank you! There were also lots of free treats evertime I cleared it, so thank you again! Love especially the red dates yogurt, it's definitely a must try (although they were 2-3days after expiry). I even went out to the grocery to get more! Regarding the amenities, the air conditioner works but can't be controlled. Tried setting temp to 5 degree Celsius (lowest settings) and 30 degree celcius (highest setting), both doesn't work. It seems like it is fixed to room temp +/- a few degrees based on the temp outdoor. One of the day I had sunburn and wanted to cool off but due to how the temp was determined, I have no choice but to sweat it out. Other than that, the tap water here had very visible residue that you can tell that it isn't clear, so I really recommend not using it for drinking water boiled or not. Aon my last day, I wanted to try the bathtub but when I turned on the tap, I had a shock. The water that came out was brown, so I cancelled my initial plan of using it for relaxation 😕. There is also a humidifier provided and I am super grateful for that, however the water ran out on the 2nd day and I can't seem to fill it up correctly. The toilet bowl is also a smart toilet bowl, but I didn't realized it after closer inspection while trying to find how to flush. Lastly, I was so looking forward to the stars celling but it's kinda sad that you can't turn it on on its own without having the other lights turned on as well. Which honestly defeats the purpose of having a star gazing celling.

首先，肅雲值得不遠千里。先被名字吸引，後被人文打動，再被環境留住。住過的民宿有很多，個人認為好的民宿能直觀的讓你感覺到老闆的調性，生活態度以及文化屬性，院落整潔有序，以民俗為主，收藏的老物件很多，院落地處大西北戈壁，但是花草樹木被呵護的鬱鬱葱葱，每一處文字都是莊主親筆，每一處收藏都能講一個故事。住宿床品質量都很好，飯菜地道的特色菜，大家都透露着當地人的淳樸和熱情。你住在了哪裡，就選擇了相識一羣人，放下浮躁的心情，褪下戾氣，讓你的身心真正意義屬於這裏，小城可能略顯荒蕪，一羣人克服自然條件精心打造了這裏，也是為了遇見旅途中更好的你。

最最高興的是有洗衣機和烘乾機很貼心哈哈。本來訂了四天後麪因為車票問題提前一天退房本來還以為比較麻煩，結果提前一天申請店家就同意了，好感動，現在已經順利坐上了回家的火車了。我訂的雙床房，含早餐，吃了三天的拉麪好歡喜，小菜和茶葉蛋和拉麪，睡的房間大小合適，也很衞生。暖和剛剛好不冷不熱。敦煌的司機師傅都很熱情，愛聊天。

We stayed 4 nights at the Runhu Hotel while we visited all the tourist attractions around Zhangye, including trips to the Gobi desert, Ping Shan Hu (Grand Canyon), the Alien Valley and other sites. The hotel - which is clean, spacious and quiet - has motivated employees who are happy to meet any request. The restaurant is actually very good with reasonable prices the buffet breakfast also was varied and of very good quality. The hotel also provides such services as nightly warm milk deliver and a foot soaking tub with epsom salts with no extra charge. The hotel also referred us to a driver with his own very nice and well kept car. He, Mr. Li, went way above and beyond what anyone could expect. He provided snacks, fruits, water and some sort of local soft drink and arranged tickets in advance where reservations were required and made sure to adapt those reservations when the weather closed one of the sites. His recommendations for local food at or near the various sites were also spot on. While the places were simple (and very inexpensive), the food was honest and good. You can bank on Mr. Li to make sure everything goes along smoothly. All you have to do is tell him what you want to see, or ask him for recommendations, and he will do the rest. In short, splendid hotel for the price with terrific service and if you need a driver, Mr. Li is your guy!

What a stay !!! Room was one of the best places I’ve stayed in . It was a spacious and a luxurious suite . The staff were attentive and helpful . They were very quick with anything we needed and requested . Our room overlooked the river and was close to places we wanted to see , easy to walk to and from . 💖👍🔥

Nice hotel next to Tuanjie Xincun Metro Station Line 2, but not up to 5star level. We stayed for 3 nights, as I had prepaid. No English spoken either at the front desk or breakfast cafe. Room was on the 26th floor with a magnificent view looking South. Quiet room, smallish and with little hanging space and no safety box. Breakfast was Chinese and underwhelming. Nice indoor heated pool, but quite crowded with outsiders allowed to swim there. Fantastic gym with everything you could need and all to yourself. Probably stay here again for one night if the price was right. As a day trip, we went to Bingling Si. Take Metro to QiLiHe station on line 1. Walk east past KFC, take the 2nd pedestrian overpass, turn right then left after the touts near the public toilets. This is the Lanzhou West Bus Station. We caught the 9am bus for 23 yuan cash only and only available on the day. At the other end, organised a car for 4 people for 320 yuan. Last bus back at 5:30. It will leave earlier if full. Near QiLiHe station, great coffee place at 76 Jian Gong Xi Jie. Back from the bus station, past KFC, past Metro, left into Jian Gong Xi Jie. Try the 'dirty coffee '

We had rooms with snow mountain views. The rooms were nicely decorated and came with floor heating. The grottoes and scenic area is also very nice to visit.

Very happy with my stay. The reception is not located on the ground floor but staff make it very easy for you to find the elevators. The room was very clean and well maintained. All facets of the suite worked very well. The “Executive Lounge” is located in the lobby and contains a fair selection of Whiskeys and Wines. This was my first time staying in a Hilton, this hotel has now set a bar for my hotel experience.

此次預訂的是一張大床和兩張雙床的套房，這是自建房改建的民宿，老闆人很熱情，第二天我們睡到自然醒才去的關城景區，從客棧出來右拐，溜達10分鐘就可以到達關城長城博物館，然後繼續向前100米就到達景區入口處了，不用重新前往遊客中心乘坐觀光車（不過觀光車免費乘坐）。房間裝修的還不錯，但是這個衞生間實在有點一言難盡…… 提幾點意見和建議: 第一就是衞生間沒有洗手液/香皂；第二就是洗漱用品放在牆上那個盒子裏，盒子也不太乾淨，而且牙刷和洗髮水、沐浴液還是那種好多年前的小賓館用的那種，像民宿沒辦法和品牌酒店配置標準一樣，是否可以選擇好用的品牌，那種家用款大瓶，國民素質現在還是蠻高的，應該沒有在拿着瓶瓶罐罐帶回家的顧客了吧😅；第三就是那個雙床房間的空調和拖拉機一樣，特別響，反而另一個房間電暖氣還怪好用的，但是如果是夏天，那個房間怎麼製冷呢🧐；第四就是房間的門特別單薄，不過我們入住那一晚倒是沒有出現隔音問題；第五就是房間那個吹風機，呃呃呃呃。像這種提升顧客幸福感的小細節又花不了大價錢，建議老闆捨得投入。 劃重點，值得表揚——這個房間帶早餐，且早餐味道棒棒的。涼拌菜、包子、蛋糕、白水蛋、小米粥、玉米、紅薯，還有甜甜的人蔘果……應有盡有 總之早餐100分，服務100分。美中不足的就是設施有待改進和衞生間衞生有待提高。

This beautiful boutique was our little heaven and refuge for us during our roadtrip through China. What made our stay outstanding was the wonderful welcome and the invaluable help we got from Suzy, our English speaking host and one of the supervisors. Her English is amazing and she sorted out all our problems and fulfilled all our wishes we had. Rarely had such an excellent support , she made our stay in Lanzhou one we will remember 🙏 Apart from this the hotel is brand new, beautifully designed (we loved the smell in the lobby!!) and had really everything we needed (an amazing laundry room too !!). We stayed much longer than we intended. Thank you so much. Greetings from the “Italians” ;-))
