Amari Hotel Stay Had a pleasant stay at Amari Hotel. The rooms were spacious, the bed was really comfortable, and the breakfast spread was excellent — lots of variety and everything we tried was delicious. The hotel is within walking distance to JBCC Mall, which is very convenient. Just a heads-up that City Square is currently closed for renovation, so that may affect your plans. One downside is the traffic around the hotel lobby area, which can get quite congested due to the ongoing construction. At night, some roads leading back to the hotel are also closed, so you may need to take a different route. Overall, a comfortable stay with great rooms and a very good breakfast. Would definitely consider staying here again once the surrounding construction and road closures are sorted out.

Nice place! Cleanliness is top notch. No bugs too. Staff are polite. Bed is comfortable and toilet is huge. Pool has limited seats but quite serene to relax. A lot of ppl from breakfast area came to check out the pool. Might be noisier during weekend. What we don’t like is the aircon blows directly onto head during sleep. Not good for kids. The construction quite loud at night too, even at 11pm we can hear from 33rd floor. Would overall definitely recommend if you want somewhere near checkpoints!

We really enjoyed our stay at Fraser Place Iskandar Puteri. The 3-bedroom serviced apartment was spacious, comfortable, and perfect for our family of 5. We especially loved the location. Marina Walk is just nearby, with Hard Rock Cafe and other dining and leisure options within walking distance. We enjoyed taking leisurely walks around the area, especially in the evenings. It was nice to have everything so accessible while still having a relaxing and peaceful place to stay. Overall, we had a very pleasant and enjoyable stay. We would definitely consider coming back again!

Location was amazing! Host was responsive and very helpful:) There was a strong smell of smoke, probably by the previous occupant, and a big pail of water was left in the toilet to shower with cause the shower head not working but we eventually used the rain shower cause that was working so the host managed to engage housekeeping to spray the apartment and to remove the pail:) Though, this trip wasn’t as pleasant as before.. the bidet leaking badly, ventilation fan in toilet was super noisy, water tank for the toilet bowl was also very loud and no table clothes to use to wipe down the tables after use.. these were the negatives but overall, with the host this helpful and responsive, I will definitely stay again cause they’ve been very kind to manage our needs:)

We paid $170 for a 3D2N stay in a Superior Room with breakfast for a birthday staycation. Unfortunately, despite it being a birthday stay, no special amenities or gestures were provided during our stay. The hotel’s location is very convenient, with KSL City Mall just opposite. We opted for twin beds because the room was available when we checked in at 12pm; otherwise, we would have had to wait until the official 3pm check-in time. The room was spacious and well equipped with disposable slippers, a safe, shower amenities, and toothbrushes. There was also a full-length mirror and a table, which were useful. However, there were a few downsides. The TV did not support screen sharing, and the beds were quite hard, which may not be comfortable for everyone. Breakfast was fairly average and the dining area was very crowded, so we only had breakfast on one of the two days. On the positive side, we absolutely loved the infinity pool, which was definitely one of the highlights of our stay.

Lobby besar, spacious & the environment is really nice and welcoming. ✨ Paling surprise, bilik yang kami dapat sangat luas walaupun ambil Queen Room biasa. Tak sangka spacious macam ni 😍 Siap ada bathtub lagi! Memang selesa untuk rest after a long day. Breakfast pun sedap! Banyak pilihan dan masakan dia memang kena dengan tekak. Paling best, rendang ayam! 🤤❤️ Sampai suami pun puji. Overall, kami memang happy dengan stay kali ni. Service okay, room selesa & environment pun best. Actually suami dah plan nak extend another night 😂 Kalau ada special rate / discount untuk extend 1 malam lagi, memang lagi best! 🙈✨ Thank you Berjaya Waterfront Hotel for the pleasant stay. I had a wonderful stay at Shama Suasana Johor Bahru. The location is excellent, with easy access to CIQ, City Square, and many restaurants and convenience stores within walking distance, making it very convenient for both business and leisure trips. The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. I especially appreciated the comfortable bed, strong air conditioning, and the beautiful city view. The housekeeping team did a great job keeping the room tidy throughout my stay. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to assist whenever needed. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. Overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable experience. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Johor Bahru and highly recommend Shama Suasana to anyone looking for a convenient, clean, and comfortable place to stay.

The location is great, very convenient for driving to Sutera Mall and nearby areas. It's a quiet hotel nestled in a bustling area. There are also plenty of food options nearby, like R&C, Ah Shui Durian, and Yu Xiao Er. If you don't have a car, there's a large food court downstairs that's open very late; I once saw it still lit up past midnight when I returned to the hotel. Next to the hotel, there's also an indoor badminton court and a McDonald's (inside the petrol station), so it's super convenient overall. The hotel also has pools for both kids and adults, a gym, and a conference room. The biggest advantage of this hotel is the incredible water pressure – showering is a real pleasure. I've stayed here 5 times already and will definitely keep coming back.

Stayed at a7-2-10-06. Aircon dripping but s Whatsapp and servicing done on same day. Still leaked. Housekeeping came in to help change the wet bedclothes and floormat to catch the drips. Minor housekeeping issues solved quickly with response in 1h. There was a dirty bin found in check-in. Housekeeping came and removed it. Check-in and check-out self help by letterbox. Security was amazing. Shuttle bus available to and fro to ciq bus terminal. If walking to and fro ciq, also have covered 600m walkway. Mall below have movie theater and food options available.

I reached the hotel around 5.30p.m. Unfortunately the room wasn't ready for me to check in. The receptionist said it will be ready within 20-30 minutes. After half an hour the room was still not ready. I had to go somewhere else rather than sitting there waiting. I only came again at around 10.30p.m. And the room was ready to be checked in. What an experience. On the other hand I love the breakfast spread. To me there are varieties of choices. I think I will come again.

1. Free but old and dimly lit parking lot. 2. Slow check-in process at the front desk. 3. Strong smell of soap in the hallway. 4. The room was okay, but there was no toothbrush or slippers. There were a lot of hairs and black spots on the bed, and the towels were dirty. I contacted the front desk to change the sheets and towels, and it took 20 minutes for someone to arrive. 5. You have to carry your luggage up the stairs from the parking lot to the front desk. A sign on the stairs says the door closes at 12, so you have to use the main entrance. 6. Very limited breakfast options, and the milk was sweet. Fried eggs cost extra.
