Věry lovely hotel. City Center , gorgeous swimming pool with amazing view, great breakfast. Very Good Wellness zone and exclusive Thaj massage, which I really liked. The Best weekend stay I can reccommend

Pleasantly surprised by the hotel, which is really 4 villas inter joined. Room was spacious and elegant. Large pool, 2 saunas and pools. Room to sit outside in garden. Food was good. Really excellent breakfast buffet and dinner buffet was surprisingly good, though little expensive. Dining room self lacks charm. Very zealous staff who clear everything swiftly. Hotel was quite empty so plenty of room. If full may feel crowded. Parking is a bit expensive but little other choice nearby. Center is 10-15 min walk away. Felt nice to be able to leave the busyness behind, retreating up the hill to the hotel. A treat to stay here, feeling like a fairytale park in the hills.

Situated in the heart of Karlovy Vary this hotel is in an old style building and require some improvements. The room was spacious but the bedding was not for a 4 star level. There were no toiletries available except the first day and not for two people. There was no shower gel, no shampoo in the bathroom and the hair drier was a joke running for about 10 seconds before cutting off. We found dust everywhere, hair on the bathroom floor and no complimentaries except coffee and tea the first day. The breakfast was very skimpy with some bread rolls of 3-4 days old and poor variety food. We will not return to this hotel and would not recommend to others.

My wife and I lodged one night at this hotel, while travelling. The room was excellent and rather large. The place is quite big, so getting from the reception to our room and vice versa was a bit complicated, also because you have to use your access pass every time you take an elevator. The receptionists are not sufficiently fluent in English, or don't speak English at all. They did not suggest that I could speak German instead. The breakfast was very nice, with ample choice. The dinner procedure was a bit special... we gave our room number at the restaurant entrance desk and made our choices from the menu. There was no bill or receipt at the end and no signature asked. When I asked the restaurant personnel for the bill, they didn't understand. The drinks, in our case a bottle of wine, were provided by the bar in the room next to the restaurant. Personnel is not taking the drinks order, you have to go to the bar yourself and order it there and you can only pay by card, they do not accept cash. On checkout, next morning, I could pay for the dinner, but only by card, because the receptionist did not have cash change, she said. I would suggest, that the hotel's management thoroughly review all customer interaction processes (reception area, restaurant, bar), because these are inefficient and sometime even unpleasant! The place itself, Karlovy Vary city centre, makes great photographs, but I would rate it 'disappointing' in terms of outdoor amenities. There are countless overpriced jewlery shops, but only a few nice restaurants and bars. If you have seen Karlovy Vary once, you don't need to see it again...

Stayed here for a few nights for work during the 57th Karlovy Vary Film Festival. I liked this hotel although it was pretty hard to judge it properly as the entire place was PACKED due to the film festival with all areas and many floors of the hotel being used by companies and displays. It is a bit of an oddity in Karlovy Vary as it's a modern 15 floor tower / conference centre in a town full of Czech old world buildings (I can only imagine the uproar when they planned it). So it's a hotel that also has Spa / Medical Treatment / Swimming pool, thermal pool / pool party / conference centre and restaurants. It seems to be modern by local standards - I was in a superior room with a balcony on the 13th floor with great views. The room had all the mod cons available in most decent hotels, good wi-fi, USB Power outlets, nice firm bed, good regular housekeeping. One thing I noticed was that the beds didn't have a separate sheet, only a fitted sheet and then a throw over dooner - no big deal, just different. Downstairs restaurant doing breakfast / lunch / dinner with a lot of options and really good wait staff. There's a large separate building (accessed by hill climbing elevator) that has an outdoor heated pool, thermal pool, saunas, change facilities - there was also a Pool Party with DJ, bar etc on the weekend days / nights (I assume that's just in summer or just during the film festival). I believe you get complimentary access to the pools /saunas for a couple of hours every day of your stay - I used it every morning for laps, it was great. In the pool complex there's also a decent restaurant with amazing views. As I said, the place was packed and the staff all seemed to handle it well. Everything you could want outside the hotel is a short walk away and there's SO many restaurants / bars etc to choose from. Karlovy Vary wasn't on my list of places to visit, but now that I've been there I'd consider going back.

Unser Zimmer (Superior mit Balkon) war ansprechend und sauber. Der möblierte Balkon war leider nicht nutzbar, da voller Schnee... Bad mit ebenerdiger Dusche und kostenlosen Pflegeprodukten. Zimmerausstattung ansonsten normal (TV, WLAN, Minikühlschrank, Bademäntel, Slipper) - kein Safe, kein Wasser/Tee/Kaffee. Wir hatten Halbpension gebucht. Keine Sterneküche jedoch sollte hier für jeden etwas dabei sein! Frühstücksbuffet: ausreichende Auswahl an Speisen - Wurst, Käse, Spiegeleier, Brot, div. Gemüse, Saft aus Automat, Tee und Kaffee sehr gut. Abendbuffet: ebenfalls ausreichende Auswahl an Speisen - Salat, Suppe, 3 versch. Hauptspeisen (z.B. Hackbraten, Hühnchen, Fisch) dazu diverse Beilagen (Nudel mit versch. Soßen, Reis, Kartoffelpüree, Gemüse), Nachspeisen. Getränkepreise völlig in Ordnung. SPA Bereich: Abgesehen von zu wenig Handtüchern - 5 STERNE Schwimmbecken (ca. 28-29°C) mit Massagedüsenbereich. Rundherum bodentiefe Panoramafenster. Die Liegen könnten bei Vollauslastung knapp werden. Separat davon gibt es noch 4 verschiedene Saunen und einen Ruhebereich mit Liegen - alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Dampfbad funktionierte leider nicht. Fazit: abgesehen von ein paar Kleinigkeiten ein schöner Wellnessaufenthalt mit super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Wir würden wieder buchen.

Very good. I could check in even at 11 in the morning, instead at 2 pm. The room was small, but perfect for solo traveller. Plenty of the SPA facilities, friendly staff, speak multiple languages. Nice breakfast ( except water melon, at some point, in the beginning it was empty, but not refilled during the service) I really loved the tea room with the amazing choice of different teas. I would definitely stay there again during my next visit to Karlovy Vary.

my husband and I recently stayed for 2 weeks at this fabulous hotel with intensive trea**ent option and full board. It was our 1st time in this place and we flew over the ocean to enjoy it and indeed, we enjoyed our stay and trea**ent immensly! Staff is amazing, especially Manager Filip at the reception, he is definitely worth a promotion! He is so friendly, helpful and has a very nice personality! Also waitresses at the retaurant- Matia and Olga deserve a compliment for sure! Very nice service all the time! Antonina at the spa reception does a great job too! Once a week they have a live music in the bar, need to book the seats in advance As for the trea**ent itself-they have fabulous facilities and everything is well organized. We included all we could get as well paid extra for creosauna. It was our first time using it and we found it quite refreshing. The accomodations we got was Junior suite facing the garden and we found it very nice and useful. The windows can be open in each room and we had a balcony too. my only complaint is the hours of operation of sauna and steam room as well roman baths-they close them at 9 pm which we find very early as it is impossible to enjoy them right after the full dinner . If they can extend it to 10 pm -would be a much better option. Also temperature of the water in jacuzzi is very low-quite cold, not even warm! other than than -its was a very pleasant stay and we would definitely recommend it! Bring a couple of metal water bottles with you as you will need to get different types of mineral water each day and having bottles really helps. Parking in front of the hotel is free but limited. We arrived in the mid of April when it was not that busy.

Thank you very much for the easy room reservation process, very pleasant accommodation in a quiet, modern, generously designed room with a balcony, great breakfast and dinner. The salads in the cold buffet were always fresh and prepared directly in the local kitchen, lots of fresh vegetables, the cucumbers were peeled, which is really rare, and the hot buffet at dinner was absolutely great. We also want to thank Mrs. Eva Smetanová from the reception for her willingness to extend the check-out, so we made it to Sunday Mass and could comfortably travel to Karlovy Vary for our next stay. Roman baths have a great authentic atmosphere. The maintenance of the hotel deserves more attention, but I understand how difficult it is to keep such a complex in good condition. Mariánské Lázně, however, can appeal to a person's feelings that he does not notice small flaws too much.

Hotel Esplanade in Mariánské Lázně truly exceeded our expectations. It is the perfect destination for anyone seeking a combination of luxury, relaxation, and first-class service. Alles in allem hat es uns hier gut gefallen. Das Hotel ist sehr sauber und gepflegt, die ärztliche Beratung war kompetent und ausführlich, die Anwendungen wohltuend. Das Essen in Buffetform ist appetitlich angerichtet, das Angebot ist reichhaltig und abwechslungsreich. Das Personal im Restaurant und bei den Anwendungen ist sehr freundlich, was man bei den Damen an der Rezeption leider nicht sagen kann. Ein kleines Lächeln und ein paar freundliche Worte hätte ihnen gut gestanden, zumal die Rezeption der erste Eindruck ist, den man von einem Hotel bekommt. Ein kleines Manko ist auch die ungemütliche Bar in der Lobby, wo es sehr zugig ist. Positiv überrascht haben uns die Matratzen, auf denen wir sehr gut geschlafen haben. Wir haben für März bereits wieder gebucht und hoffen, dass das Personal an der Rezeption bis dahin ein Briefing in Sachen Freundlichkeit bekommen hat

Nice And clean appartment. Each has a kitchen And bathroom with hairdryer. It was our second stay here this year. Every appartment has unique musical style And there Is also a museum of music (free for guests). It Is not far from center And still parking Is possible nearby (very important for us). Self check-in system Is very easy too And every time we had a question, there Is response on WhatsApp. This service, sending information via WhatsApp (for the First time a few days before we arrived) Is perfect. Lobby Is also comfort - coffee Machine, digital fireplace And So on.
