The resort was in a lovely location but is a little tired, understandable after covid. Even after a few emails requesting a double bed close to the beach they did not have one arraigned for us, they had put us in a Bure up the hill. I have tendinitis in my knees so that was never going to work. In the end they put my husband and I in a Bure with twin beds closer to the beach - not at all romantic! The meal plan was really expensive but the food was plentiful, unfortunately the restaurant was up the hill so it was a painful effort on my behalf for each meal. Unlike other resorts that we stayed in this resort required a daily fuel surcharge and we also had to pay a hire fee for fins. They did not put on Manta ray trips on either of the 2 days that we stayed there although there were Manta rays in the channel both of those days. Unimpressed. Luckily we had also booked nights at Barefoot Manta Ray Resort so ended up swimming with the mantas which was our sole reason for going. To be fair other people staying at MRIR said that they had been taken on Manta trips earlier in the week so I have no idea why they told us that there were no mantas on the 2 days that we were there - Barefoot Manta Resort said that on one of the days there had in fact been 7. This resort is much more of a backpacker resort although the high cost of the meal plan would give most backpackers a second thought.
Blue Lagoon Beach Resort

先說優點: 位置好,在yasawa羣島比較好的區域,沙灘細膩,海水顏色分層,自然環境沒得說,棒! 再說普遍情況: yasawa羣島上大多數度假村都有強制包餐計劃,這個在訂房前會有提前說明,餐費是過去現付。這家的價格是每人每天159斐幣(三餐)。 接下來是缺點: 1. 島上蚊蟲較多,不過原生態的大環境都這樣,可以理解,建議帶足驅蚊水上島即可。 2. 住的花園別墅(雙卧),我們這間和隔壁那間都是一間有正規空調,一間是臨時制冷機,臨時的那間機器聲音超級大,嗡嗡嗡一個晚上,睡覺輕的慎選。 3. 重點吐槽:這家的退房時間是早上9:30-10:30之間,然而入住時沒有任何人以口頭或書麪方式告之。 到了退房當天早上9點多,酒店強行讓客人們離開去酒店休息區等待(下島的船是中午1點到酒店門口碼頭)。在我們的堅持下,酒店給安排了一間臨時的waiting room,可以待到12點。 後來和其它客人聊天才知道(問了三四家),大家在入住時都沒有被告之退房時間(有一位在退房前一晚在床上看到了酒店放的書麪通知單,所以提前半天知道了這事),很多人一大早都匆匆忙忙很尷尬😅。 和攜程反饋了這件事,攜程處理很積極,也努力作出了補償,現在已更新了酒店的退房時間。 但是酒店這種服務態度,訂這家的要謹慎考慮😅
Octopus Resort

We spent a 4 nights at Octopus and everything was great but I wanted to talk about the transfer. The ride into the island was perfectly smooth (maybe an occasional minor bump or splash but a generally easy ride). The way home was another story. For context we had two small children (7 and 4) and there waves picking up the day before (we noticed this on our diving excursions). I tested the waters in the morning (had some time to kill and wanted to snorkel) and it was a mess under water; a current, waves, undertow and everything was just being stirred up. My wife and I are prone to getting sea sick so we took some dramamine as we watched the water gain in intensity throughout the morning. As the small boat came to take us to the transfer it was not issue getting in the small boat at shore but getting onto the big boat in waves is not easy. The crew was very patient and helpful getting everyone on as safely as possible and tried to get moving as soon as we could. They helped elderly folks get on and off at the next stop and showed the same level of care and helpfulness. For the next almost 2.5-3 hours (compared with the 1.25 hours getting there) we were on rocky seas going up and down, getting water in the boat (and over the top) and everyone on the boat was miserable except my 4 year old (who was only a little sick). While this may seem a point where we start a negative review this is the complete opposite. Captain Sula (I apologize if I got this wrong but it was on July 6 2024) did an absolutely amazing job navigating the seas and when one looked out the side to the size of the waves (going every which way) to what was happing in the boat you could see that the captain and crew were making every effort to make this as easy for the folks on the boat as they could. While the transfer was not the highlight of the trip I feel the captain and crew were going above and beyond (really working overtime) to deal with the situation imposed on them and making the best of it. I've been in bigger boats in water that wasn't as rough and I've been more sick in those situations but these folks were dealing with waves coming in many directions, on top of each other and they were over 4 feet (I checked the sea forecast to verify what my eyes were telling me). Everyone on the boat truly appreciated the captains work getting us back safely.
Navutu Stars Resort

Navutu stars is a beautiful resort located in a tropical paradise. All of the 10 Bures are wonderfully appointed and secluded, each with their own private beach directly in front. You can feel the gentle cool see breeze and hear the gentle lapping of waves which lulls you to sleep every night. The staff are wonderful, warm and genuine and go above and beyond to ensure your stay is special. Meal options are excellent for what is a very remote location with lots or choice. The daily activities are perfect with both paid and non paid options. The village, cave and snorkelling visits are a must with the surrounding coral reefs rivalling the Great Barrier Reef. The resort dogs (special mention to Dolly and Snow White!) are amazing and gentle and accompany you for walks and kayaking.The Kava ceremony and Lovo night and singing / dancing was also very special and done very well. Overall an amazing experience - Vinaka Navutu Stars team for an amazing stay.
Paradise Cove Resort

海非常漂亮非常漂亮。這個小島比較遠但是非常值得。浮潛下去有很多魚,水像果凍一樣清澈。 設施:房間挺大的,兩張大沙發躺着很舒服。冰箱、咖啡機、熱水壺都有。露天淋浴洗起來很爽,非常推薦!有空調和風扇,中午也不會熱。兩卧室有獨立的門,出入不會打擾到同行人。 環境:比較原生態的路線,很多植物。帶的小院子晚上吹吹風喝喝酒很舒服。雖然訂的是園景房,但是走一分鐘左右就能到沙灘。 服務:服務非常熱情!第一天預訂搞錯了以為我們有六個人,給我們分了四張小床,和他説了之後幫我們拼成大床。每天都有人打掃衞生。離開的時候還給我們唱告別歌。 有兩間餐廳,其中一家是日式料理,omakase上了很多海鮮。餐食不錯,比主島喜來登要好吃!
