Check In Date : 31st August 2022. Check Out Date : 1st September 2022. Loction : The hotel is located in the city region. Depends on what and where people perceive of what city centre is, but this hotel is not exactly central. I consider the area within walking distance to Wat Sisaket to be central. This hotel is located a bit tucked in from the main road. The nearest monument is Patouxay Monument. Heading to Patuxay took 10mins walk so heading to the old town region took almost 30mins and 40mins to the night market. But we only stay for a very short stay and we need to use the airport, so we dont think much about it. The road in front of the hotel is quite lively. There is some eateries, some groceries shops, and some local restaurants not frequented by tourists. Foods are cheaper in the area. Reception and lounge : The reception area is small, dusty and dull. The check in counter is a bit messy however again, we dont think about it much. The recep is connected to the house owner's living room. The check in was quick but the lady speaks very limited somewhat strange english. Seeing a dozen tourists (mostly western) in the pool, we wonders how the recep person communicate. The area is not well lit and not cooled at all. We use the ironing station, and we were soaked wet. Room : The room is in the second floor for us. The size is massive, the AC works well, the bathroom is massive and it is clean. The windows have housing area view and the rest of the room are just comfy for such price. The bed is soft but the blanket is thin. The room is enough for us to sleep. Surrounding : The swimming pool is small, we didnt get to try it. The area is reasonably clean minus the dead leaves. There is a seating area next to the pool with full of people smoking. The ashtrays are full and it smells bad. Satisfaction : For a budget traveller, this place should be sufficient. It has a good vibe and the area isnt that bad at all. We only stay for 12 hours before we flew away to other country. It is sufficient for us.
