Came here for a football game, didn't realise how rural the town was. Regardless, the hotel is 10 minutes away from the main town station via taxi. Very homely and cosy hotel, host was very helpful and patient. Helped with booking taxi, which in this town is a big thing especially if your coming from a big city. The room was clean and spacious, suitable for a solo traveller or couple. Overall, it was a lovely experience and appreciative of the hospitality provided

It's maybe not as easy to get to and from the airport if you don't have a car or know the bus / rail system. But it's not bad. Once you're there, it's clean and a comfy bed. There are a few shops around and the area is quiet. Overall not bad and once you know how to get there totally fine.

Fangen wir mit dem Restaurant an: Ein Traum, was man hier serviert bekommt. Super dargestellt, geschmacklich kaum zu toppen, das Servicepersonal fachlich und menschlich einfach klasse. Der Service beim Frühstück steht dem in nichts nach. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich und sauber. Unser kombiniertes Bad mit Dusche und WC war etwas klein, aber es war ok. Tolle location in toller Umgebung

Wir hatten die Freude einen Nachmittag und einen Abend dort anläßlich einer Hochzeit zu verbringen. Und wir sind begeistert. Die Lage am See, die Spielewiese, der Spielplatz, die Terrasse am Restaurant, der Service den ganzen Abend - sehr gut. Und die Qualität der Speisen, aber auch das Arrangement (bei der Menge der Gästen) ist sehr gut. Beispiele: Kleinigkeit nach der Trauung, da wird z.B. Wurstsalat im kleinen Weckglas serviert. Abends sind die vielen Speisen ebenfalls in Weckgläsern arrangiert, dann werden auch keine unnötigen Mengen rausgeworfen. Der Support ebenfalls sehr gut. Die Lokation ist ein echter GEwinn und man kann vor Ort auch übernachten.

We stay at this hotel every time we come to visit friends who live near Basel Switzerland. We have never been disappointed. The rooms are always clean, the staff is friendly and they all speak English ( a big plus for us as our German is not very good). They even have an English menu! The best part is the hotel is in a very quiet part of town and the price is about one quarter of the price you would pay in Switzerland. We only stayed here two nights this trip. I wish we would have stayed longer.

We (3 adults) arrived at the hotel after 5:00, having travelled several hours by car from France, and the reception had closed. It was very difficult trying to get checked in. First, the phone number posted on the door was reported as unassigned; so I looked up my booking and fortunately there was a number provided that worked. Unfortunately the woman who answered did not speak English. Eventually she was able to connect someone who did. I was told to look for a “safe box” at the front door… assuming the “front” is on the street side where the Hotel Leo sign is. I got locked out when I tried to look for a lock box of some kind. With the interpreter still on the phone, I walked around to the back of the building again, circling along the driveway and parked cars to where I’d entered a door from the parking lot initially. It did not feel like the “front”. Eventually I found the lock boxes and got our keys to our rooms. Our first room was terrible, on the main floor between the maintenance storage rooms and the breakfast kitchen. We assumed it was a room specifically for people with dogs. Needless to say, it was very noisy at 6:00am. However, the Receptionist was very friendly, accommodating and spoke English very well. She put us into a room on the second floor, next to our son, so that he could help us with carrying our bags up and down the stairs, etc. The room was comfortable but the noise from the parking lot in the mornings was loud, with people checking out, trucks revving engines or just loud people going out for a cigarette. We’d hoped to be able to open our windows for fresh air, as there’s no air conditioning in the hotel, but the level of noise was too much. I’d think a room on the street side might be a bit less loud, but I don’t know… it’d have traffic. The hotel is fine for a quick overnight. We stayed 4 nights, but had no other option considering we were visiting people in Mühlhausen. I do give full kudos to the woman at the front desk… her job is not an easy one but she was very friendly.

Our stay at this hotel was outstanding in every way. The crew was incredibly lovable and super caring, always going above and beyond to help with anything we needed. The 24/7 swimming pool and bar were fantastic features, and the pool's child-friendly environment made it perfect for families. Our room was very spacious and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, including a lovely balcony overlooking the beautiful garden. The restaurant and morning buffet were perfectly situated in the Japanese garden, creating an utterly amazing experience to start the day. The combination of an outstanding crew, prime location, and excellent facilities made our stay truly memorable. We highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking a superb and enjoyable experience.

Stayed 3-6 June 2024, Double Room Premium Plus Very good hotel within the heart of Friedrichschafen old town areas. Walking distance to everything - ferry terminal, railway station, Zeppelin Museum, waterfront, shops. Room was very good, large and comfortable, well laid out. Breakfast was good with a lot of options. free 24/7 coffee, tea and water in the reception is a great feature with nice relax area and also outside tables on street front. The included Bondensee card received when checking in offers fee travel - so include Lindau and Dornier museum in your trip (Dornier Museum has a great cafe and food and can view the Zeppelin taking off and landing). Take bus rather than train since it stops right out front. Easy to spend 3-5 days here, lots of good eating options and great places to visit nearby using the Bondensee card. Good hotel baggage storage so easy to get here morning.
