Beautiful place to stay, near everything, excellent service, staff so friendly and professional, breakfast out of this world with fresh and local products!!! Lugar espectacular, muy cerca de todo, comida excelente con materia prima di calidad, personal super profesional y amables. Bellissimo posto, personale gentilissimo e super disponibile, la colazione fantastica con prodotto di ottima qualità. Definitivamente da visitare de nuovo. The staff was incredible. The b&b is run by a family - we met the mom and daughter upon cHeck in, and they were the friendliest, most helpful staff we have met. The property is very centrally located, very clean and modern. We were just a 5 min walk to the center of matera, but just off the main road so it was quiet and peaceful. The rooms are all different colors! We throughly enjoyed our stay. Rosella and her mom were super nice! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness, and convenient location in matera.

Ho prenotato una notte direttamente dal sito. La descrizione della struttura e della stanza è assolutamente fedele alla realtà. Un arredamento minimal grazie a materiali di recupero combinati in modo perfetto con alcune note di colore che rendono l’ambiente accogliente. La struttura si trova a due passi dal centro. Parcheggi disponibili sia gratuiti che a pagamento. Ho richiesto il tour con Apecalessino e Martina (spero di aver ricordato correttamente il nome) si è adoperata per trovare subito un noleggiatore. Esperienza quindi in generale ottima, assolutamente da consigliare. Giusto due cose a mio modesto avviso da migliorare: 1) la pulizia del balconcino 2) la dotazione delle cialde per il caffè. Tre sono poche, magari per quelle supplementari anche a pagamento.

The service we received from Eleonora at Casa Diva was faultless. She was very helpful and provided us with lots of information about Matera (where to park, eat, what to see etc.). As for the property…..Simply stunning! The reception and dining rooms are beautifully decorated. When we entered our cave (the uva suite) it was beyond amazing. Imagine Fred Flintstone won the lottery. Carved out of the rock, the huge room has high ceilings, tasteful decor, two comfortable double beds (in separate areas), and fabulous clean and modern bathroom. There’s even a mini ‘en-suite’ cave with a Jucuzzi bath. Another door leads to a large characterful terrace (shared with one other suite). The town of Matera should be on every bucket list, and is as friendly as it is unique. We had a fantastic time and would highly recommend a stay at Casa Diva.

Siamo arrivati a Matera di domenica mattina e avremmo avuto seri problemi a posteggiare l'auto se il gestore del B&B e sua moglie non si fossero attivati per darci modo di lasciarla in uno spazio autorizzato e vicino alla struttura. La stanza era pulita e confortevole, il bagno completo di tutto il necessario. La posizione del B&B è tra le più vicine alla zona storica della città e abbiamo avuto modo di gustare la nostra visita concedendoci anche una breve pausa prima di cena per poter poi ammirare lo spettacolo dei Sassi illuminati . A colazione c'era ampia scelta sia di prodotti dolci che salati. Insomma un'esperienza più che soddisfacente.

Can't recommend this place more highly. If you're staying in one of the Sassi, a cave hotel is a must have experience in my mind. All the amenities were on offer for a very comfortable stay, including a robust AC and a beautiful bathroom. The staff was fantastic. We're going to miss the bread of Matera and the delicious breakfasts each morning! Thanks for an unforgettable experience.

Despite its very high rating, as well as the numerous positive comments about owner/hostess Miriam, our stay at Livingstone B&B in Matera greatly exceeded my wife's & my expectations during our two night stay in June 2024. There are three individual guest rooms (we saw all three, and each one is massive, especially when compared to hotel rooms in Italy) with ensuite bathrooms. Our room, New York (the other two are London and Paris), was on the top floor of the apartment, so we enjoyed privacy and solitude, plus the added bonus of a private balcony area, complete with a sun lounger. Livingstone is bright, modern, and impeccably clean. Miriam obviously takes great pride in Livingstone, and is certainly passionate about providing the absolute best experience possible for each and every guest. The photos are 100% accurate, and reflect what you see and experience when staying at Livingstone. Livingstone is conveniently located less than a three minute walk (two right turns, then down the hill) to the town square, where you'll enjoy magnificent views down to the Old Town historic area of Matera. If ever my wife & I return to Matera, we will absolutely definitely stay at Livingstone again.

Siamo stati con amici ospiti di questo B&B per il weekend lungo del 25/04 e siamo rimasti assolutamente soddisfatti. Accoglienza e gentilezza del proprietario, camere pulite, arredate con gusto ed adatte sia ad un weekend in coppia che con amici con spazi abbastanza ampi. Lo consiglio vivamente a chi vorrà trascorrere un weekend a Melfi in un punto strategico per visitare il centro della città ma anche per spostarsi nelle località limitrofe e godere degli splendidi paesaggi.
