The hotel is very confortable with air conditioning and Room No 24 was very large and had a great bathroom with shutters onto a course yard. I could have done with a long mirror in the bedroom and a few more shelves or places to put our toiletries in the bathroom. The beds were comfortable and their was a fridge with complementary water. I would recommend you take your own hairdryer, the one provided over heated and had a little power. The shower was good and they do provide shampoo and conditioner. The only problem with this room, I found although quiet through the night, the staff cupboard is right next door to it and the staff use the hallway to prepare breakfast and sort laundry so they are up and about early and wake you up. This hotel is very old and has a lot of stairs so not for the mobility challenged. Great location though and their is a good cafe round the corner for breakfast although they do offer breakfast in the hotel for 10 euro's.

The San Polo is not really a hotel, I would call-it a Guest House with a small 'reception' on the 2nd floor in a tiny, typical Venice building with lots of stairs managed by friendly people! The location is perfect for travellers arriving by train (15 minutes walk) and also close enough to the 'Ponte di Rialto' and the 'Ponte dell' Accademia', which is quite important in Venice, but you will find-it out by yourself. And: Follow the ”dont's” for Venice: Don't travel with heavy lugagge. We booked the junior suite (decent price), which was on the 3rd floor, were also the breakfast is served. The room is extra spacious, with a king size bed, an extra bed and a sofa, TV etc. It has a, lets called-it 'Venetian- Chic' and was clean (for allergic people: Carpet on the floor). The bed was super comfortable (we like it more on the hard side). Also the toilet is spacious, equipped with everything you need (lots of towels available) and housekepping cleaned every day. For breakfast scrumbbeled eggs and/or a ham, salami & cheese plate is served on demand, for the sweets lovers, there is pastery and freshly made cake availble, the coffee comes from the coffeemachine. As said it is simple and you will certaily not get a 'room with a view' for that price/location in Venice, but it works perfectly for a 2-3 nights trip to Venice!

Great room and even better location. Hotel contacted us the day of arrival to ensure we had all the right arrival information and made sure we knew how to get from the airport. Couldn’t be easier to find and so close to one of the vaporetto stops that there was no hauling luggage through the busy streets of Venice (this is a much bigger bonus than those new to Venice will realise). Really friendly staff on check-in (and throughout the stay) and room was made available for us early which was great. The room itself was huge, spotlessly clean and so much fresher than many of the older traditional hotels in town. The only downside to the hotel is that it doesn’t have a 24 hour reception (the guy leaves about 4pm) and it doesn’t offer many amenities (no laundry, no bar, restaurant or room service) which isn’t unexpected for a hotel of its size, and given the amount of options in the vicinity isn’t a big deal and they do provide a free mini-bar to compensate . All in all a superb little hotel which we thoroughly enjoyed and will definitely use again.

Arrived with super heavy luggage (after a month traveling in europe), they arranged a room on 2nd floor facing the road with access by elevator. Surprisingly, it was quite. The room was spotless and comfortable. A great clean place to recharge energy just before a long flight back home. Pity didn't try their breakfast. But truly recommend this place for everyone who need a place nearby Marcopolo airport.

Очень хороший отель для транзита в Венеции. Практически на всем пешем пути до отеля есть тротуар, его нет только метров 300 от кольца на аэропорт до первых домов в посёлке Tessera. В поселке много баров и кафе, можно взять пиццу на вынос, есть лавка Tabacci с билетами и продуктами первой необходимости. Сам отель - здание в сельском стиле - с массивными балками и отделкой из натурального дерева, производит неизгладимое впечатление. Завтракать дешевле, конечно же, подножным кормом, но у них есть бесплатный ранний завтрак, сок и круассан. Отель рекомендую.

Stayed here with my partner for our first trip to Venice! The location was great - not too far away from the Rialto vaporetto stop. There’s a lovely square nearby where there are a few restaurants, wine bar and gondola stop. Our room was lovely, everything was clean and we had a few of the canal!! All of the furniture was quite rustic/vintage and had a lovely authentic feel to a Venetian experience. The staff here were incredible. So enthusiastic and happy upon arrival/check in which was lovely after travelling all morning! Throughout our stay they have helpful tips on gondola rides, opening times for museums and events going on in Venice. We also had breakfast included, which was a nice continental with a few cooked bits too. Would absolutely stay again when we return to Venice in the future, thank you Locanda la Corte!!

We had a very satisfactory stay at the hotel, historical looking building but everything inside was well chosen. The room was perfect and the view from the room was incredible. It was a pleasure to have dinner in the restaurant. The food was delicious. It is definitely worth visiting this place if you want an extraordinary experience, so do not miss out on it

We hebben drie heerlijke overnachtingen gehad in dit hotel, niet te verwarren met het gelijknamige hotel middenin Venetië! Wij hadden de gezinssamenstelling nr 106 en 107 verbonden door een balletje. De kamers zijn ruim, brandschoon en heel mooi aangekleed. Er wordt dagelijks schoongemaakt! Het ontbijt is uitgebreid en heerlijk. De service van het hotelpersoneel is alleraardigst, super vriendelijk en heel behulpzaam. Openbaar vervoer ( trein en bus) zijn op 400 mtr afstand te belopen. Zo kom je in 15 min naar Venetië! Wij komen hier zeker nog eens terug!

Mister Mario is really exquisite , nice have a chat with him . They also provide an itinerary with all the indications to the main places to be seen . Breakfast is rich and can be customized with all croissants you want !

This B&B has a great location just a few steps from Piazza Bra and this is also the best reason to stay here. The street itself where the hotel is located feels a bit dark and run down though. The rooms are spacious but sp****ly furnished. A breakfast is provided but due to covid-restrictions only provided at a small table. Some youghurt but mostly sweets. There is no toilet in the rooms but they are outside, although private. I have seen many positive reviews before this one commenting the manager and I can somewhat agree. Our experience is both positive and negative. Please be aware that you have to organize check-in with the owner beforehand. There is no sign to show this B&B and it has no reception.

My wife, daughter and I stayed at Relais Empire for two-nights while on a road trip across northern Italy. This small hotel is arranged over the first and second floors (there is a lift) of a old town building adjacent the main street to, and just a short walk from, Piazza Brà (and the colosseum). The building facade is currently being restored which did not affect our stay, but currently makes accessing the hotel entrance a challenge with the intercom to 'buzz' reception on the first floor to open the entrance door and with the intercom obscured by scaffolding/boarding. This issue aside, we experienced no noise or disturbance from the building work at all. The hotel's interior decor is lovely (very Italianate), the rooms/bathrooms are a generous size and very clean, the beds are comfortable, and despite our rooms facing onto a main road close to the touristic centre, the hotel was exceptionally quiet at all times. Breakfast was superb with a generous mix of hot/cold breakfasty food and beverages, and the small team of staff at the hotel were attentive and very helpful throughout our stay. A note of caution if you are travelling by car; parking is a short walk from the hotel in a compound with individual private and locked underground garages, and consequently very safe. The cautionary is note is because on arrival, you will need to temporarily leave your car parked on the street (or as I had to because there were no on-street parking spaces near the hotel at the time we arrived, on the pavement) and check-in with reception before transferring your bags into the hotel and then being shown to the garages (the receptionist will jump in your car with you to guide the way and show you how to access the garages). However, on departing the hotel, I was able to park on the street right outside the hotel to transfer our bags back to the car which was much less of a faff. If you are arriving on foot or by taxi, you can ignore this cautionary note! Should you stay here, we recommend dining at a nearby restaurant recommended by the hotel's receptionist, 'Osteria Casa Vino' (also reviewed) - it was outstanding. We dined their twice during our two night stay. In summary; a small and slightly quirky hotel, attractive once inside, clean and quite, with nice rooms/bathrooms, excellent breakfast, great staff and close to the centre of the attractions.

Terrível. Sujo, uma cortina no meio da sala que o anfitrião guarda objetos e utensílios variados atrás, além de panos e toalhas que pareciam sujas. Uma tristeza. Reservei pelo booking e ao final fiz a avaliação que o próprio booking recomendou. Avaliei com nota sete e passei um feedback de tratamento diferente entre hóspedes, ois o anfitrião disponibiliza dois endereços. Por mais incrível que possa parecer, ele passou a me agredir pelo chat do booking. Me xingando e ofendendo minha família. E eu nem havia criticado o fato de ser sujo. Apenas em relação ao tratamento diferenciado entre hóspedes. Nessa viagem fiquei em dez acomodações diferentes. Nenhuma outra me tratou mal. Apenas essa desse aí. Quando chegamos ele havia deixado a chave do apartamento em um envelope com um recado que deveríamos deixar 2,5 euros por pessoa por noite nesse mesmo envelope e se não deixássemos ele acionária a Polícia. Ridículo o recado até pq a taxa turística tem em todas as cidades da Itália e em todos os estabelecimentos nenhum foi rude a esse ponto. Enfim, péssima experiência. Um anfitrião rude, grosseiro e sem a mínima capacidade emocional de manter um atendimento ao público. Não recomendo esse local para ninguém. Há muitas muitas e muitas outras acomodações em locais até bem melhor localizados a preços similares em q o hóspede não precisa se indispor e nesse estressar pela grosseria, tratamento do anfitrião e nem pela sujeira do local.

Our welcome was fine, a bottle of prosecco waiting for us, just missing the cookies we had last year. We ordered the breakfast which is served on your room, and it was delivered next morning just in time. The scrambled eggs were nearly cold. In the afternoon coming back from town we missed new cleaned glasses, the used ones were not replaced, same with empty shower gel, we had to ask for nearly everything. The rest was okay, but nobody asked for our satisfaction at any time, even the departure. In the room we also had the impression that there’s the necessity for some renovation, even at some walls and the fridge with its door not closing properly. Being honest, we spent around 500 € (!) per day for b&b here! So this time we left Verona and the hotel not knowing whether we would come back in future.

A wonderfully peaceful place. The ethos of living alongside and in harmony with nature was in abundance here. From the recycled paving slabs sourced from a crumbling church to the sheep keeping the ****s down between the rows of vines, the philosophy of working with nature was a joy to be around. I would highly recommend the wine tasting with Franco the sommelier. All really interesting, but the wine is the true star. Never have I drunk so much and woken with a clear head. An excellent advert for organic production. The locally sourced food was exquisite and the rooms fabulously unique (only 15 or so of them) with spectacular views across the valley. A big shout out for the staff too - all were friendly and attentive but not obsequious and at all times did everything to accommodate us. We had a habit of getting hungry just as the kitchen shut for example. We didn't use it as it was too early in the season, but they also had what my kids would describe as an insanely instagrammable pool. Don't forget to ask about the e-bikes - they were the perfect way to explore the area.

Adriano molto accogliente e disponibile: ci ha messo a disposizione delle mantelline anti pioggia che non ci sono servite , ma ci hanno portato fortuna.Spero di tornarci presto.

A fantastic place to stay. Beautifully decorated and scrupulously clean. The location is perfect and just a few minutes walk into town. The owners couldn’t be more helpful and pleasant. Thank you Lenotti for making our stay in Verona so enjoyable.
