This is my favourite place to stay in Kunming. Location is perfect, just a few minutes from Green Lake and the Huashan Xilu metro station. Staff is very friendly and helpful. As for the rooms, they are small but convenient and comfortable, and very clean. But what really makes Upland really special in my opinion is the lovely courtyard and terrace. Highly recommend staying here!

Definitely one of the best hostels I’ve stayed in!! Everything was really clean, the views are beautiful, and it’s right in the center of Kunming so close to loads of transport options. The owner also goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome, he even lent me his phone when I needed help on my first day?? The social area is really nice too, and you’ll often find the owner and other guests spending time there. So I really recommend this hostel for solo travellers hoping to meet new people! I’ll definitely be back if I stay in Kunming again!!

Bar dan restoran di meja depan sangat bagus , bau pembentungan di bilik mandi adalah sangat kuat saya hanya boleh menyimpan ekzos di atasnya buka dan tutup pintu atau berjalan dan bercakap; mi nasi untuk sarapan sangat wangi, disyorkan untuk menyediakan lebih banyak, mereka telah pergi pada pukul 9 pagi ini secara keseluruhannya, saya berharap penginapan akan menjadi lebih baik dan lebih baik!

Bilik itu sangat selesa dan bersih. Kebersihan di kawasan awam juga diwujudkan. Ia adalah asrama belia yang sangat matang! Semua orang sangat mesra, sama seperti kawan, dan senyuman apabila kami bertemu antara satu sama lain benar-benar menghangatkan hati saya! Makanan di bar restoran pun sedap😋 Apabila anda keluar dari asrama belia, belok kiri dan anda akan melihat pasar yang popular dengan banyak sarapan pagi yang lazat. Ia juga sangat dekat dengan stesen kereta api bawah tanah dan boleh dikunjungi dengan berjalan kaki.

Great hostel. Comfortable beds with electric heated blanket, curtains, plugs. Good hot shower, place for drying clothes on the roof. Around 2 km from the old town. Quiet neighborhood.

Overall room was basic. There was a restaurant in the hotel that offer hot meals. It was low reason, thus the hostel was quite empty during our stay. Or perhaps the location was so close to the bus station, most hikers will hop into bus and back to Lijiang or Shangri-La straight away. The hotel is located uphill. The only trouble we faced was our baggages was stored at the public storage room downhill, and we had to carried our own baggages walk about 200m uphill, and 3 storey staircase to our room.

Nice airport pick up service , driver will give a call before come & where to wait which is very clear & details . Service 10/10. Nearby hotel have very nice BBQ food , can check with hotel owner.

The environment is wonderful. It's clean and well - maintained, with beautiful plants and cozy common areas. The owner is really kind and helpful. They go out of their way to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. I must mention their dog. It's so friendly and full of energy. Every time I see it, I can't help smiling. It adds a special touch to this place. Overall, I highly recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a great place to stay. I'll definitely come back again!

It was clean and spacious and the staff were rlly friendly! Gym was run down and dusty but can't expect much for the price. Overall, it was a great stay and I would recommend it!

I highly recommend staying here, it exceeded all my expectations! The rooms were spotless, with clean beds and plenty of space. They provide towels, toothbrushes, and bottled water. The owner puts so much thought into the little details, making the hostel feel cozy and welcoming. For girls, it's a dream! The bathroom is stocked with essentials, and there's even a vanity mirror in the common area, perfect for doing your makeup comfortably. The owner is super helpful and friendly, and they can also help you arrange tours. Plus, you can rent an e-bike or e-car directly from them. If you're in Shangri-La, don't hesitate to stay here!

這裏解釋一下有個英國籍老外給了這家青旅3.5分。我原本住別家青旅，在樓下遇到這個老外，他説他住的地方是他住過最乾淨的青旅之一，價格也好，我好奇去看看，覺得很乾凈還比我當時住的青旅寬敞，第二天又看了房間，床很穩定，被子比我上家青旅好太多，於是決定搬到浮生青旅。和老外聊了很多還一起去西山公園徒步，他騎自行車穿越過五大洲，在土耳其開潛水中心自己當老闆，這次一行三人在中國入境時還遇到澳門人幫“付款買了”大陸手機卡並設定好，這位善良的澳門人花費一個小時時間不説，還自掏腰包送了三張卡給三個老外。英國老外説很感動，在中國受到很多幫助，也很滿意這家青旅，就是有點冷，不提供電熱毯。他走之後給了3.5分，我微信電話他，他説這就是一般的青旅，不夠good or excellent的級別，外國人住青旅至少兩個廁所，而且沒覺得老闆給他升級了房間，衹不過是一張床而已。我聽後便説青旅老闆因為語言不通，沒給你要洗衣服的五元，你能不能轉給他？他説已經退房了怎麼轉？我説你在中國不是一直都是微信付款嗎？你有老闆微信，可以轉賬給她，但是他到現在都沒轉。寫這些是想幫老闆説明一下那個中評的來龍去脈，還有你的善良應該幫更值得幫的人。

Ia hanya boleh dikatakan murah. Tiada peralatan mandian atau pengering rambut, tetapi saya memintanya kemudian. Bilik mandi awam mempunyai air yang mengalir terus dari atas, dan tiada pancuran mandian. Amat menyusahkan. Kebersihan tidak baik. Saya tidak tahu sama ada ia digunakan dengan kerap, tetapi ia tidak terasa seperti ia dibuka pada tahun 2022.

離昆明老街就一街之隔, 但就是不好找到辦入住的地方，不過前台小趙姐姐熱心服務 ,原本只住一天的我毅然決然的果斷續住＾＾＆ 這家新裝修青旅裝潢還行， 整體規劃拍照是好看的，建議可以挑選有大面落地窗的房型 ,陽光灑落在早晨非常舒服 ，而且窗戶可以打開透透風，不過建議青旅還是強制住客把鞋子放門外鞋架上吧！一個小小房間裡其中一個放味道大點的鞋子，會窒息。 公共區域有洗衣機跟烘乾機 ，也附贈洗衣球，對於長時間旅行 的人不外乎增添了方便性。 三件套也是一客一換 , 還有提供一次性的衛生備品 這個價格沒什麼好挑剔了 !

Semua orang mesti menempah B&B dan asrama belia lebih awal apabila datang ke Kunming. Kedainya agak popular dan sangat popular. Lokasinya mudah untuk pengangkutan, persekitaran bersih, dan anda boleh memasak dan mencuci pakaian. Bos adalah seorang lelaki kacak dari Timur Laut China yang sangat terbuka. Saya akan datang ke Kunming lain kali jika saya mempunyai peluang. Ia adalah bandar yang sangat memupuk.

Would recommend Hosting Friendly and smiley. Took up bags without asking. Answer questions over wechat. Even the other guests were friendly! Usually Chinese visitors don't really speak to me (which is fine of course), but the girls I shared a room with even asked me to dinner with them and shared food Location The pictures they have down for the exterior, it's actually to the left of that. walking distance to the ancient village and chongsheng temple. easy trips to the lake. Amenities Fridge, washing machine, hair dryer, shoe dryer, toiletries, kitchen area etc. all included. There's like a communal courtyard area as well and I believe you can eat there too but you need to book it the day before by a certain time. Bathroom Sit down toilet. Shower. Toiletries. Looks a bit shabby at first glance but the shower toilet and sink are all working and very clean Room Lovely thick mattress (I've found they are usually quite thin in Chinese hostels so this was a nice surprise). Heater if needed. I'm not entirely sure how the lock on the door is supposed to be done. Overall great atmosphere. The pictures look a little bit rough around the edges but its honestly fine and i think I could stay here a while

The front desk staff are friendly and eager to provide information. The location is in the center of the business district, which is convenient for shopping. Here you can chat with many friends and get their experiences. The service staff are also willing to help solve problems. However, if you stay in a private room, it will be easier if there is a lounge upstairs. It smells like smoke and is noisy. It is suitable for a room with multiple people and is cost-effective. The electricity and hot water systems happened to be unstable during those few days. This is the only drawback.

Loved LOVED this hostel! quite easy to get to from the train station and a 15min walk to Dali old town, but there's also a really frequent free shuttle service on offer to get you from the hostel to the old town and back. very clean, wonderful views from the roof and various public spaces and balconies. great social area, and I'm so happy to have made so many friends there. the hostel also offers various group trips to main sights around Dali for really reasonable prices - the best thing is that the tour guide also takes pretty professional photos so you get your memories recorded throughout the trip! the hostel also has cute cats and a big fluffy dog!

Hostel is located opposite the main road after our from the ancient Dali gate, so is very convenient to enter Dali street by foot. Room are well manage by elderly friendly couple. Comfortable bed with classic design surrounding with book shelf. Hope their business continues growth and provide affordable stay for solo traveller. My window can view the Cangshan mountain.

Nice place to stay in Shaxizhen. Very close to everything. The only downside is that they only have squat toilets and that the bed is a bit hard, which can be uncomfortable for some people, but it was ok for me.

We had a good experience staying at this hotel. We had one day to spend in Dali and chose this hotel as we needed to depart from Dali Railway Station early in the morning. The hotel is at a comfortable 5 min walking distance from the train station. The room is also clean and comfortable. The bathroom is simple but functional. The staff is helpful and quick to address your needs. Overall a good stay in Dali!

Excellent experience here, and they accept international guests. The pods are really cool and well taken care of, the location is right by the ancient town, and the common area is stylish and friendly. The host was very personable and he even gave me a scooter ride to the bus stop when I left. To find it, the Baidu map location seems not to be correct, but the trip.com map is. It's at the end of a little lane - there's a big barber pole on the main road at the start of the lane. Thank you!

這家青年旅舍的位置非常便利，周邊交通便利，無論是去景點還是尋找美食都非常方便。 青旅的環境乾淨整潔，公共區域寬敞明亮，房間佈置得温馨而有特色，床鋪乾淨柔軟，保證了良好的睡眠質量。工作人員的服務態度無可挑剔，總是熱情友好，及時提供幫助。設施方面也很齊全，有乾淨的衞生間和淋浴間，還有自助廚房可以使用。在這裏還能結識來自五湖四海的朋友，氛圍特別好。

店內環境氛圍很好，很喜歡鏤空的設計，晴天的時候整座屋子都充滿陽光…晚上後院的小彩燈亮起來的時候，很漂亮，很浪漫，很温馨～ 青旅裏面也經常插着各種鮮花～很有感覺 老闆人挺好的～很多時間都有義工在店裡麪。遇到的義工人都挺好的。 非常適合長住，可以在這裏認識很多有意思的人，很喜歡這家青旅，也很喜歡大理這座有故事的城市…

I stayed for 3 nights and felt glad that I chose it instead of those in the old town. It's close to the market to restaurant, to the old town and taxi accessible. I didnt have to drag my heavy luggage along the old town's bumpy roads or climb the hill. They helped me arrange bargain for the electric bike to go around town and to the near by Ancient towns. The house in located behind aparment so it might be a bit difficult to find. Just pass the barrier and follow Amap direction and you'll find a small house wity Warmly Welcome sign. Good luck. Highly recommend to stay here.

The owner helps me to take my luggage to the room during checkin and checked on me when I’m not feeling well. They clean the room every day also the bathroom. I had a pleasant stay. P/s: you have to make your own bed and the mattress quite hard. I found all “kind” of hair when i put on the bed sheet. And lots of hair on the floor as well. I informed the owner and she cleaned the room immediately. Thank you for your service

Very beautiful hostel. Location is just outside of old town. Staff is very helpful. Cleaning is average. Only one thing is that bed is very uncomfortable. Mattress is so much thin  I don’t sleep comfortably both 2 tonight atmosphere is very good but due to offseason hostel is full empty They have a very beautiful cat and naughty dog both or very beautiful and cute.

The hostel is SUPER nice, in a really great location, very calm, with some back yards. The staff was helpful, I could check in earlier. My room was ok, the bed was extra comfy. The only minus was the smell, I don’t know if it’s the cleaning products that are used which give that smell. I couldn’t get rid of it even with windows open. Overall it’s a great place to stay, I recommend!

Lelaki di meja depan sangat bersemangat dan ceria. Bilik itu dinaik taraf secara percuma. Kemudahan di dalam adalah yang paling lengkap yang pernah saya lihat. Pergi ke sana untuk mengambil dan menghantar di tempat-tempat tarikan adalah sangat mudah.

The location is very good , close to main road and walking distance to Lijiang old town , shops and restaurants nearby, very convenience. No amenities but the price is cheap and worth it

巷弄裡環境清幽且植樹的小庭院，泡杯咖啡享受寧靜的麗江清晨，離古城近，購物方便，附近的象山市場有當地特色價錢便宜的特色小吃，超級推薦，我再來麗江的不二選擇。

Untuk pergi ke Dashu Dog i Cafe untuk melihat Pergunungan Bernese! B&B yang ditempah secara rawak! Saya tidak menjangka ia sangat mudah. ​​Saya berjalan di luar Pekan Purba Shuhe pada waktu pagi untuk melihat matahari terbit di Gunung Jinshan. Jika saya tidak sempat turun ke bawah, saya mengambil teksi untuk ¥ 8! Hidup bersendirian di luar musim adalah pengenalan yang baik untuk tinggal di asrama belia buat kali pertama. Katilnya sangat selesa. Ia mempunyai jalur cahaya ambien yang tidak bercahaya, bidai, langsir katil, dan selimut. Walaupun pada bulan Mac, ia masih sejuk di altitud tinggi di Lijiang, jadi sebaiknya bawa baju tidur anda sendiri. Bilik mandi peribadi mempunyai udara yang dipanaskan, tetapi ia akan menjadi sejuk di dalam bilik pada waktu pagi dan petang Hanya pergi ke luar dan berjemur di bawah sinar matahari awal. Apabila saya pergi, tuan punya (ibu bian Mu) juga memberikan saya magnet peti sejuk Lijiang sebagai cenderahati🫶🏾🫶🏾 Akhir sekali! Saya ada kawan baik di sini, Wildfire Ji’s Bianbian🌼🫶🏾 Saya sangat sayangkan Hakimi! Rakan kongsi terbaik ENFP ternyata adalah Border Collie yang bertenaga! Main bola sepak dengan Hakimi sepanjang petang Apabila kami penat, kami akan berehat bersama dan memulakan permainan semula pada bila-bila masa! Never a spoiler 🫶🏾🫶🏾 I really, really love Hakimi! Sudah tentu Stannie juga anjing yang hebat! Semua orang sangat comel dan comel! Saya akan kembali ke Shuhe dan Baisha di Lijiang, dan saya juga akan kembali untuk melihat (secara langsung) Hakimi!
