Wonderful place to stay, I love the vibe and energy of the hostel itself. I did not stay enough to enjoy to lovely activities and community but I absolutely reccommend this place. I stayed in 8 women room and I appreciated the cleanliness of the bed, bedsheet, locker etc. That is very important as it is the only space just for you. Bathroom was ok, I did not know it is mixed but I did not have any problem - and it was also clean. I like the option of the restaurant and free tea at the reception. Location is also great! Kunming is lovely and artsy town🫶

Great experience and really enjoyed my stay. Appreciated the electric blanket at this time of the year. It was quiet and relaxing. Loved the design of the door and beds.

Very comfortable and quiet. You can rent electric moped from the hostel. Second floor has large shared community spaces, including a billiards table. Shared bathrooms kept clean. Bed has electric blanket. Optional dinner was very tasty with large portions.

Kami mendaftar masuk secara rawak sekitar jam 1 pagi. Ia benar-benar di luar jangkaan kami. Bos itu sangat baik. Kami menaik taraf bilik double yang kami tempah kepada bilik quad secara percuma. Katilnya sangat lembut dan selesa untuk tidur. Asrama ini sangat unik dan dihiasi dengan indah. Sebelum kami pergi, bos melihat kami sangat letih dan memberi kami kalungan bunga. Ia adalah pengalaman yang sangat baik dan nilai wang yang hebat. Saya doakan bos berjaya bisnes🫶🏻Ini kali pertama saya secara spontan ingin menulis ulasan yang baik

Excellent hostel at an unbeatable price! The common spaces are great, western toilet on the third floor, solid neighborhood close to the bus depot - I gave one knock for location because the hostel is not super close to ancient town or Baisha. the owner is awesome and work with you to find good deals on local attractions. Free filtered water, a drum, and a solid wash and clothesline. The place is great and has everything you need as backpacker. Highly recommended for all!

還是那句話，林子大了什麼鳥都有！so本來很好的一個池子總是1-2個攪屎棍毀了。 我之所以選擇菜菜美宿：1是因為房間面積寬廣25-30平方米；另外一家4人間or6人間衹有12-15平吧我沒記錯的話。另外感謝攜程積分幫我抵扣掉一些錢，2個晚上才23元；比之前在喀什青旅還便宜…太倦了。 2、説實話下了灰機後打車一進村，我心裏有點涼，but前台小姑涼特別瘦，一手拎我的行李箱、一手拿手提布袋，媽呀……房間很充裕下，前台小姑涼挨個帶我看了一下，我直接從8人間換到6人間，陽面。體諒我一個北方人如此熱愛陽光。 3、看到菜菜boss後，發覺是個非常年輕的姑娘，雖然説話温温柔柔、慢慢地，很親切，完全沒有任何架子，but接人待物非常麻利且反應速度。面相也好，一定是心地善良、友善之人。當晚出去吃飯，菜老闆貼心的説要是找不回來給她打視頻。結果走丟了；給菜菜打視頻，找回來… 4、當晚好睡一夜，從晚上10點多到第二天早上快9點；我的眼罩、耳塞、安眠葯都沒有用上，因為特別特安靜。由於朝陽的房間窗户對着院子，起初還擔心會很吵，結果多餘了；房間內小室友們睡覺都沒有呼吸聲…拉上床位簾子，深手不見五指… 5、5、第二天白天跟不認識的青旅小夥伴挨個打招呼，大家反應很熱情，紛紛加入聊天、相約去茶咖博覽會、晚上玩牌、打麻將or狼人殺…氛圍巨好…當即就立刻決定再訂半個月的床位…2026年12月4日to12月18日。民宿小盆友的素質都很謙虛、友好： 1）每天晚上8點多大家準時在前廳排排坐-狼人殺（一入狼人殺深似海呀，家人們）蘇蘇、橙子🍊、閆老師（青旅小夥伴）簡直了，邏輯爆棚，發言真假難辨。“邏輯”哥，是來搞笑的；邊玩邊學，對新手友好，不會一上來就先斃掉。最瘋狂的時候聯繫其他民宿小夥伴一起狼人殺…（狼人殺後遺症，失眠了，I think 過度使用大腦so強烈要求換單間又訂了一個月多月的房間，知道26年1月底） 2）下鋪小姐姐邀約一起出西盟、孟連玩，小姐姐平時很清冷，沒想到會被邀約，且主打就是坐公共交通，是我特別喜歡的… 3）平時吃飯都是90後小盆友做飯，每一次哦都會被邀約，由於我吃的少，他們都不讓我A錢。索性多幹點活吧…特別是我嗓子發炎了，湖南妹子們居然做清淡，甚至是寡淡菜系，太感動了… 以至於我直接訂了一個月的房間；終於有單間了還是朝陽的（高原的陽光明媚與海島的不一樣，讓人心生寧靜、舒服） 5、蔡老闆很有創意、組織能力強，行動力更強：1）12月21日冬至組織大家包餃子，那會還有好多北方的大哥大姐 2）12月31日跨年，在羣裏徵集玩什麼遊戲；其中有一項是拔河，上至高齡下至幼齡沒有一個人不喜歡的、也包括外國同胞-眼見一個個呲牙咧嘴渾身上下使勁… Ps這波操作湖南人要火，因為自從廣東大廚離開後，湖南妹子們就承擔起做飯的重任！ 總而言之，環境好、氛圍更好（曾經2個時點菜菜家爆滿，連户外帳篷都被徵用了）磁場乾淨！我會再來的😄

Bilik itu sangat selesa dan bersih. Kebersihan di kawasan awam juga diwujudkan. Ia adalah asrama belia yang sangat matang! Semua orang sangat mesra, sama seperti kawan, dan senyuman apabila kami bertemu antara satu sama lain benar-benar menghangatkan hati saya! Makanan di bar restoran pun sedap😋 Apabila anda keluar dari asrama belia, belok kiri dan anda akan melihat pasar yang popular dengan banyak sarapan pagi yang lazat. Ia juga sangat dekat dengan stesen kereta api bawah tanah dan boleh dikunjungi dengan berjalan kaki.

I had a great time in Jianshui, the owner of the hostel did make my stay even more special, he helped me in many ways, I am beyond grateful he could help me out to get a SIM card and all the app struggles that you can face traveling to China from abroad . I highly recommend to stay with him for dinner or any meal, food was amazing and I felt like visiting friends rather than staying at a hostel. There’s a nice rooftop where you can also use the washing machine and dry your clothes. I will definitely come back!

A had a lovely cozy stay at this hostel. It was clean with a lovely ambiance and staff were friendly! They have many activities going on and serve a variety of meals. Location is walking distance to Shuhe Ancient Town. I would recommend this hostel to fellow travelers. Only one note for improvement: if movie nights could include English subtitles too, that would be great!

Overall, a pleasant stay. The room and bathroom were clean, the location was convenient, and the washing machine came in handy. WeChat replies were quick, but the receptionist seemed inattentive in person, and we were placed in separate dorms instead of together, which was inconvenient as a father–daughter pair.
