The check in was easy and clear instructions were provided about the facilities. Clean room with comfortable bed. Unfortunately there was no WiFi in the room that I stayed in and no mobile phone coverage on Vodafone for calls or mobile data. WiFi was available in the main building which had a bar and restaurant. The price of the room was very good.

GGuest UserBreakfast is not really included as such. Only the continental buffet. This is cereal, fruits, cereal bars, baked items and a large selection of cakes, including mince pies, which was odd for breakfast. The hot breakfast requires a surcharge to be paid, something Iโve never experienced before. The full English would be best described as part English breakfast, with no sausages, tomatoes, or mushrooms included which is a bit of an insult when youโre paying a surcharge. I canโt fault the service, or anything else, but this felt a bit naughty to be doing.

EEllen TrownStayed at the Queen's Head hotel over the weekend due to attending a concert at Buxton Opera House.
We were really well looked after and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was clean , warm and welcoming.
Whilst there is no on-site parking, there is parking in the market place only a minutes walk away which was easy to access.
Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

YYANQINGCross the village from behind the hotel and walk to the beautiful Darcy Manor in 10 minutes. Breakfast is buffet and order. The taste is not bad. Most of the occupants are old people. Did not see the child.
