It's a beautiful building. My room was on the top floor and it was modern and well appointed, but extremely warm. I had to use a fan to sleep (which is surprising in October) and the fan was a bit loud, so took a bit to get to sleep. The breakfast is pretty good. The fresh fruit selection is great and the coffee is good. The cheese wasn't great, the bread was all packaged, sliced bread. The hot food was pretty good. The staff was friendly and helpful, although not particularly knowledgeable about the area. I got a bag of laundry done for £19, which I thought was reasonable compared to normal hotel prices and convenient so I didn't need to find a laundromat. It's an easy walk into town.

This hotel is based just up a small hill from the town centre, bear this in mind if you are booking as not everyone is able to walk it. It is within easy walking distance of all the bustle of Pitlochry. The staff were so friendly, warm and smiley. The room we had was small but functional , very clean. The hot food for breakfast was good, the cold selection could benefit from a little increase, there was not much choice, it was also be easier if the hot drinks and fresh juices were moved away from the cereals, toaster and yogurts to help with traffic flow. We will definitely be be back. Have a fabulous weekend. Thank you

The Craigroyston House and Lodge is a perfect place to stay. The owners have thought of everything and the place is immaculate. It is very comfortable and the owners will do all they can to ensure your stay is an excellent one. You will get a lovely welcome and also advice on Pitlochry and the surrounding area and can enjoy the lovely lounge area as well as an excellent breakfast. We only stayed two nights but would have been more than happy to stay longer. We hope to make a return visit soon.

After the good reviews on the Internet, I expected much more. . The hostess herself was very friendly, but only saw her on arrival and departure. Her husband Mark took over the breakfast Service. When we came back in the evening next day, we realized that no room service had taken place. , We should have told them , if we like to have done our room , which is very unusual.. Mark booked us a table in the nearby restaurant. The next day at breakfast he was not very talkative as a host. The question of the recommendation, whether it liked, was also absent. You didn't feel like there were a really intrest in the Guest. The day after,we were given the coffee at breakfadt and this time a good morning was completely out of it. Not a nice word, nothing. Myself I travel a lot and I have never experienced so little interest in the guest. The house is very nice, unfortunately the professional in giving the guests a Welcome feeling is missing., We love England, so we have been travelling all over , and we can tell the diffrent very well. As a host it can be so much nicer if you pay more attention to details and in your guests,

We fancied a wee break in Pitlochry and found this wonderful Guest House. Nancy and Scott were great hosts and we couldnt recommend them enough. Lovely room with lovely views, comfy bed and pillows. Smashing breakfast including whisky porridge (what a way to start your day!). We'll defo be back soon!
