Good capsule and great super sento included, hot water and cold water bath, huge sauna and so on, basically you can have all night fun in spa for the price of sleep, highly recommended

Except for the excellent location (nearest to Tobu-Nikko Station and the buses stops to various locations and places of interest, the hotel is badly in need of upgrades for it's rooms, facilities and amenities.
The room I stayed in is big (compared to most hotel rooms in Japan) but the toilet seat cover keeps falling down while using it.
Plenty of cobwebs at corners , especially along the corridor.
The bathroom taps is like a 'makeshift' upgrade shared by basin and bathtub. See photo.
Good thing is that I can see upgrading and renovation taking place but seems like it has been going on for a very long time already.

It was nice and quiet. Staffs were nice. The weather was cold but there were no heat in the room.

Très bon hostel, mieux que sur les photos. On a eu une chambres pour 4 personnes avec le toilette privatif, que la douche à partager. L’onsen est tres propre et contient deux bassin à l’intérieur et à l’extérieur. Deux lave-linges et deux sèche-linges sont à disposition avec le payement supplémentaire. Cuisine est grand et propre.
L’hôtel est loin d’activité principale de Nikko (Nikkō Tōshō-gū et un hike avec des cascades). Le système de train même si vous prenez Nikko pass à Tokyo n’est pas parfait car ça oblige de prendre des billets supplémentaires pour un train express, car n’inclut pas dans le pass.

距離宇都宮車站很近，很方便， 房子大概50多年了，古色古香的老户建，適合喜歡復古情懷的人預訂整體很滿意也睡的很好，下次到宇都宮還會考慮住這家！

TTL.TeddyWe were hosted by an elderly couple, and his family members. They were super cute, friendly and polite. It's like their small family business, ground floor was a western restaurant, second floor onwards were all the guest rooms. They know a bit of English, so the communication wise no issue at all. What we love about this stay is that other than the room with gorgeous lake view, the host was super helpful to allow us to store our luggage with them even way before our check-in timing. Furthermore he even offer to send us to the laundry shop, when we just casually ask him about the laundry. What actually surprised me the most, was that he even FETCH us from the laundry shop after we were done. Will definitely come back to this place again if I'm in Nikko! Thumbs up! Super host!! 😁

GGuest UserVery good hostel, better than in the pictures. We had a room for 4 people with private toilet, only the shower to share. The onsen is very clean and contains two pools inside and outside. Two washing machines and two dryers are available with additional payment. Kitchen is big and clean.
The hotel is far from the main activity of Nikko (Nikkō Tōshō-gū and a hike with waterfalls). The train system even if you take Nikko pass in Tokyo is not perfect because it requires to take additional tickets for an express train, because it is not included in the pass.

GGuest UserThis hotel was in a very beautiful, peaceful location. The room was very large with a shower room separate from the toilet. There were a couple of parking spaces, I would recommend driving as the stores are a bit farther away from this hotel

GGuest UserIt is a little worried that there is no convenience store in the neighborhood of the facility. However, there is no problem because some things can be purchased in the facility. Since a free shuttle bus is circling Utsunomiya station and TOBU Utsunomiya station, it was easy to use the movement in front of the station. If it is a deluxe type cabin, there is a small desk, so you can work on a PC without problems.

GGuest UserCleanliness, facilities and amenities are good, but there are few 々 dissatisfaction with sound and temperature management. Is it a special point that you can't eat and drink in the room? I stopped at the public bath in the neighborhood but I was very satisfied there. It was a goldfish hot water.
