Tempat ini sangat bagus untuk pelancong solo. Bilik bersih, tandas bersih. Sungai berdekatan dan semua kedai berdekatan. Sangat disyorkan.

Saya tidak begitu faham bilik mana yang saya tempah, tetapi saya diberi bilik yang sangat besar.
Walaupun tidak begitu bersih, lokasinya sangat baik dan anda boleh melawat tempat-tempat pelancongan dengan berjalan kaki.
Terdapat banyak burung merpati berhampiran rumah penginapan!
Saya ingin menggunakannya semula.

Very nice and new hotel at this price, toilets and beds are clean. Best hostel I have ever stayed. There are 3 cats here and they are super cute. There’s night activity during my stay on a Friday night, we played beer pong with staffs and other guests here, everyone here is friendly, very good social places if you are open to make
friends. I will stay here again if I visit malacca again.

部屋はとても清潔で、快適に過ごせました。エアコンをつけておけばしっかり冷えて、夜もぐっすり眠れます。シャワーの温度もちょうどよく、水圧も安定していて使いやすかったです。スタッフの対応も親切で、笑顔で対応してくれるので安心感がありました。タオルも無料で貸してもらえるのがありがたかったです。川のすぐそばで、川を眺めながら休めるテーブルがありました。立地も便利ですが、近くの飲食店が夜遅くまで営業しているため、外の音が少し気になることがあります。また、洗濯機がない点は長期滞在の人には不便かもしれません。全体的にはコスパが良く、短期滞在にはとてもおすすめのホテルです。

Lokasi rumah penginapan bajet ini sangat bagus, menikmati bilik dengan tingkap, penghawa dingin & kipas. Namun, kebersihan semakin teruk terutama lantai bilik, tuala dan bilik air berkongsi, seolah-olah SATU SAHAJA pekerja asing yang ditugaskan melakukan semua kerja, dari daftar masuk/keluar, penjagaan rumah dan dobi...
▶Adalah lebih baik untuk menyediakan dispenser air seperti yang disediakan oleh kebanyakan asrama.

GGuest UserThe hotel has provided the facilities as committed in their booking-page in the acceptable condition to their customer, i.e. me. Despite it is a budget hotel only and the overall appearance is slightly vintage :D, the room, the bed/mattress/blanket, bathroom, showering water heater, etc. are still clean and in acceptable condition. Besides, if communicated/spoken to the hotel, it has self check-in option for the check-in after business operation hour, i.e. mid night. Travelers can acquire the room key/card by themselves from a locker with a provided pin code. These enable me to have a good rest after making an urgent booking in night time, travel over 100km then reach the hotel at 1.30 a.m. mid night. The attached photos show the self check-in/out facility, public drinking-water-dispenser and fire extinguisher.
Although I can't expect much from a budget, I would like to suggest that the air-con in the room to have service/maintenance so that it won't produce much noise. By the way, the noise only distract us slightly from having rest.
After all, based on the offered/discounted price, the room is satisfactory and recommended.

AAnonymous UserA well-located low budget Inn near Jonker Street! The rooms are basic, average setting with shared bathrooms. The staff is friendly and helpful.
The location is great, just a short walk from Jonker Street, making it easy to explore the night market, cafes, and famous attractions.
⏩ Great value for money, but cleanliness could have been better especially the towels, shared bathrooms. Just be mindful of slight noise from thin walls.

AAnonymous UserHotel room super clean, the owner really mantained it well. Hotel was newly renovated on march 2025. Aircon,tv,fan all are very new. Does not provide water bottle but has water purifier outside the room.
Down side: at night owner not there, need to whatsapp owner for checkin, at night water pressure is quite low, and wifi very unstable at night. Day time everything is good. Hope owner can take note on that. Overall everything is good for this price as a budget hotel.

GGuest UserI had a really good stay at Discovery Youth Hostel, Melaka. The location is honestly perfect — right in the old town, walking distance to Jonker Street, cafes, night markets, and all the main attractions.
The place is simple, clean, and comfortable, exactly what you expect from a good hostel. For the price, it’s totally worth it. The vibe is chill, good for solo travelers and backpackers, and it’s easy to meet people.
If you’re looking for a budget-friendly stay in a great location in Melaka, this is a solid choice. Would definitely stay here again.

KKireina kesikiThe room was very clean and comfortable. The air conditioning kept me cool and I was able to sleep soundly at night. The shower temperature was just right, and the water pressure was stable and easy to use. The staff were friendly and always smiling, which made me feel at ease. I appreciated the free towels they provided. The hotel is right next to the river, so there was a table where I could rest while looking out at the river. The location is convenient, but the nearby restaurants are open until late at night, so the noise outside can be a bit distracting. Also, the lack of a washing machine may be inconvenient for those staying long-term. Overall, it's good value for money, and I highly recommend this hotel for short stays.

HH MatthiasA centrally located and newly built hotel. Very pleasant, clean, and cozy interior with comfortable beds and pillows. Great A/C and TV.
Things to improve on: slow check in process (~15 mins), most rooms have no windows, toothbrush not provided.
Apart from these, one of the better hotels in this small town. Worth the money and very comfortable for 2 a night stay.

MM711836****The bed was very spacious, and the high ceilings meant it didn't feel stuffy at all. The air conditioning was excellent. The shared bathrooms were clean, which was a plus. In the common area, they offered bread and coffee; for the past two days, I've had peanut butter bread with coffee before heading out. The location is fantastic, right by the river. The cafe downstairs is a great spot to relax with a coffee. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in town.
