SSimon YS LeeI love to stay here whenever I visit Melaka especially in this Park City Motel. It is located very conveniently to Pharmacy Store, Kopitiam, Seafood restaurant, Seven-Eleven, Chinese Food court and Petronas station. I would strongly recommend whoever travelling to Melaka should consider this Motel. Best of all, the room prices are very reasonable. Cheers guys 💪🏻
MMeichemeifangmeiqianThis hostel is absolutely fantastic! The location is superb – super close to the Stadthuys, Jonker Street, and St. Paul's Hill. You can get here directly from Malacca Central Station by taking the M100 bus; it's about a 10-minute walk from the Hatten Hotel bus stop. The ground floor is a common area with a washing machine, dryer, kitchen, and even a media room, plus lots of cats! I stayed on the third floor this time, and you do have to carry your own luggage up, so keep that in mind if you have big bags. It's great that the bathroom, toilet, and washbasins are all on the same floor. The only minor point is that each bed only has one power outlet, which might not be enough, but there are extra outlets in the room that you can use with an adapter, so that makes up for it.
MM43794****Although just stay one night in Malacca, but I love this hotel the room is clean and the staff offered the free cookie for the guest . This is the cheapest one for a single room in Malacca. It’s a nice deal I highly recommend everybody live here
JJesrinaThis hotel is truly impressive! The room was comfortable, the facilities were modern and the price was surprisingly affordable. A perfect combination of comfort and value for money. Highly recommended!
AAnonymous UserHotel room super clean, the owner really mantained it well. Hotel was newly renovated on march 2025. Aircon,tv,fan all are very new. Does not provide water bottle but has water purifier outside the room.
Down side: at night owner not there, need to whatsapp owner for checkin, at night water pressure is quite low, and wifi very unstable at night. Day time everything is good. Hope owner can take note on that. Overall everything is good for this price as a budget hotel.
GGuest UserI had a really good stay at Discovery Youth Hostel, Melaka. The location is honestly perfect — right in the old town, walking distance to Jonker Street, cafes, night markets, and all the main attractions.
The place is simple, clean, and comfortable, exactly what you expect from a good hostel. For the price, it’s totally worth it. The vibe is chill, good for solo travelers and backpackers, and it’s easy to meet people.
If you’re looking for a budget-friendly stay in a great location in Melaka, this is a solid choice. Would definitely stay here again.
KKireina kesikiThe room was very clean and comfortable. The air conditioning kept me cool and I was able to sleep soundly at night. The shower temperature was just right, and the water pressure was stable and easy to use. The staff were friendly and always smiling, which made me feel at ease. I appreciated the free towels they provided. The hotel is right next to the river, so there was a table where I could rest while looking out at the river. The location is convenient, but the nearby restaurants are open until late at night, so the noise outside can be a bit distracting. Also, the lack of a washing machine may be inconvenient for those staying long-term. Overall, it's good value for money, and I highly recommend this hotel for short stays.
XXifangxiaonuo1. **Location:** Super convenient! It's just a 3-minute walk to Little India and about a 10-minute stroll to Jonker Street.
2. **Food:** Right across the street, there's a huge Indian hawker center that gets really busy at night. Plus, at the corner, there are two authentic local teahouses that are open from morning till afternoon.
3. **Room:** Our room for four was spotless. There were tons of bathrooms and shower rooms available. They even offered free bread in the common area in the mornings!
GGuest UserA nice place, a bit far from the attractions so had to take a taxi but there are lots of places to eat.
No elevator and you have to go up a flight of stairs.
Nice place for solo travelers.
GGuest UserWell... the location is great. You couldn't find a more central or romantic place to stay. The room is also kind of cozy, definitely old-school. Great view of the river. The owner is incredibly nice. But... We booked 36 square meters. The room was 16 square meters plus a small bathroom without hot water... Taking off your shoes at the front door and walking barefoot through the house is also a matter of personal taste. The offerings urgently need to be revised. And the price is too high for what you get. But still, I'd recommend it for the right kind of renter. But I wouldn't book it again... Too quirky. Too expensive. And far too many barriers throughout the house. The toilet is designed for short people.
