This was one of the best hostel experiences I've ever had. Even as a solo female traveler I felt quite safe in the hostel premises. They had plenty of events, I joined a couple of walking tours in which i learned a lot and made new friends. The shared areas are super big and very convenient. The location is excellent. If I ever need to go back to Chicago I'll stay here for sure.

We had a great stay at Parthenon Guest House! The restroom facilities were very clean, and having 3 showers and 2 toilets for the women’s area was a huge plus—it really helped avoid any long waits in the morning. The room was just the right size for the four of us, cozy but comfortable. We also enjoyed the common area, which had a nice vibe and was a good space to relax. The staff were all friendly and accommodating, always ready to help with anything we needed. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable and well-maintained place to stay!

Kemudahan hotel ini lengkap. Terdapat bilik membaca komputer dan bilik rekreasi, serta dapur yang selesa. Terdapat hidangan yang sangat mewah di dapur. Keadaan kebersihan hotel juga sangat baik. Saya belum makan sarapan di sini lagi.

Place is okay. Everything is handled remotely and passcoded. They could do better on the service by adding atleast 1 staff onsite

GGuest UserI am happy to stay here. This hostel is cozy and has all the essentials you need. The common areas are warm and inviting, and there are activities to make the guest know the Chicago better. I chose this place because it's close to the starting point of the Chicago Marathon. The hotel also provides fruit and electrolytes to runners. The weakness I found was cleanliness. The room I stayed in had a lot of dust under the bed but there were no problems in the using area. & Some staff may seem a little upset when I asked her repeatedly or may not understand what she is saying.

RRiveraThe hotel is extremely antiquated when you walk in how you could smell is still smoke it's just overwhelming other than that it's extremely clean if you can get past the smell even the rooms have a little bit of a odor to them that was extremely current price was good

JJoeIt has pretty cheap rooms and they allow pets to stay for free. They have good Wi-Fi as long as you're downstairs or near the office. And they have Smart TVs in every room.

PPeterKA beautiful location next to the Rock River is the best feature of the hotel. The room was large and had a mini refrigerator and microwave. The wifi worked well and there was coffee in the lobby. The front desk is not staffed 24 hours and the rooms are not cleaned every day, but neither is my house, haha. There is a bank and two restaurants sharing the parking lot but otherwise nothing is available within walking distance. A quick five minute drive gets you to anywhere in town.

RRobertThe bed was nice but the shower was hard to operate and impossible to get to a reasonable temperature. It would be cold, I would nudge it a touch to the hot side and then it would be burning hot. The hospitality was subpar. When I asked to check-in an hour early they said I would have to pay $30 and when I asked to store luggage after checking out, they said no.
