Hotel Hot Springs di Anhui, China

First travel resort I’ve been too but had exceptional service. From getting picking up at the railway station and the host assigned to me help coordinate leaving and making sure I make the most out of this trip. The events and games that they had were also super memorable. Overall a fun atmosphere. Would recommend to come with friends or family for a weekend stay.

Zhu Xi is an amazing host and kind hearted person. He made my 3 nights stay at the Min Er Ju Mei Su hotel memorable. This place and its cats feels like a home with a quiet and warm vibe. The hotel is at a 20mn walking distance from the bus stop to access to Huangshan. It’s easy to grab food and drinks on the way to catch the bus in the morning. Zhu gave me a bigger room at my arrival and some good tips to prepare my hikes to Huangshan. the room is simple yet clean and nice, and furnished with japanese style toilets. I’m grateful for the homemade tea and help to arrange driver pickup to bring me to the Tunxi Airport, even though I would rather advise the punctuality of a Didi over cheaper fair but lack of reliably of the driver. Definitely an hotel I would recommend and would return to if you want to stay in Tangkou to explore Huangshan and like to connect with friendly folks!

This hotel with hot springs is great; it's not crowded right now, so it's very quiet. You can enjoy the outdoor hot springs from 5-9 PM, which is really relaxing after a mountain hike. The bed is also very comfortable, perfect for someone who's had a long day. The breakfast is quite rich, especially since you can see Tiandu Peak, Lotus Peak, and Meimao Peak from the viewing terrace. Besides the outdoor public hot springs, there are also rooms with private baths. It's really good, I recommend staying here.

The hotel location and landscape is top notch for this region. Kids friendly - the indoor playground was amazing! We enjoyed the great service from the staff, especially Ms Xiang, who was very warm hearted and helpful. Can not expect the hotel to be a real 5-star compared to the well developed tourism places, some areas of improvement: many people still smoke inside the facilities - including the public hot spring area, swimming pool, even the hotel lobby. Some of the facilities inside the room are not well maintained - be sure to check them and request for fix or change the room if needed. But for this area, I’d highly recommend this hotel for family stay and a very relaxing experience at a reasonable price.

This hotel is said to be the childhood home of Zhu Zhishan, meticulously maintained and converted into a garden-style hotel. It's a sprawling estate with relatively independent buildings and rooms, each with intricate architecture and scenic views at every turn. Afternoon tea is served at a traditional opera stage, and various small stone lions are scattered throughout the grounds. Travelers who appreciate Jiangnan-style gardens will surely be delighted. We checked in on Mid-Autumn Festival, and the hotel even hosted a moon worship ceremony, with fish lanterns and fireworks in the Xixinan area, creating a very lively atmosphere. The service team seems to be primarily family or local residents, and there's a noticeable gap compared to the professionalism of a star-rated hotel staff. Their responses to inquiries and adherence to daily service standards felt a bit relaxed, suggesting they haven't quite matched the quality of this excellent hotel yet.

We had a really great time! The hotel called a driver for us and we have a super smooth experience getting around the town. Staff was SUPER nice. They provided maps for our Huangshan Mountain visit. Always offered cold water and breakfast. Helped us bring our luggage to our rooms, to and from car. Super friendly and enthusiastic. One of the hotel staff also keeps a pet dog on the premises, so if anyone is allergic, please keep that in mind. The dog does roam the hotel. But she’s very tiny and super well-behaved. Very cute! It does seem like all the rooms are on the third floor so if anyone comes with super heavy luggage, please do keep that in mind. Rooms were super clean, had plenty of amenities and the small town area around the hotel had so many shops and food. Night time is very eventful. You do hear the night life in the rooms but it didn’t really bother us. If you’re sensitive to noise, please do keep that in mind. I would definitely recommend. Overall great experience!

A beautiful homestay in an amazing mountain pass setting. In China, homestays are a bit like upscale bed & breakfasts. The family has upgraded their property to a really beautiful hotel, but they run it and serve meals. This means you get the best homemade Chinese food. Absolutely fantastic. They have a pool, a hot tub, a gane area, a bar, and of course, you are not far from Tianzhushan. Can't recommend this place enough.

I saw this room on Ctrip, and I happened to want to go to Jiuhua Mountain. I was a little worried after reading the reviews online, but I thought it was a good deal, and it also came with tickets to the scenic spot, hot springs and breakfast included. I thought it was worth a try. When I arrived, the front desk was very friendly. My sister Xiaofang received my friend and I very enthusiastically, and said that if we have any questions, we can contact her anytime. After we rested for a while, we went to the scenic spot tickets given by the hotel. The scenery was very good, and there were buses in front of the hotel. We arrived at the scenic spot for just 1 yuan. It rained that day. I heard the spring rain in Jiuhua Mountain for the first time. I felt that hiking in the rain was very pleasant and artistic. After we returned from the tour, we received fruits from the hotel staff. After taking a rest and replenishing our abilities, we We went to the hot springs. The hot springs were very comfortable. Sister Pei was very nice. She prepared bath towels and ginger tea for us. The meal the next day was also very pleasant, because the car we booked arrived at 7:20 in the morning and we didn't arrive until 7:00. I went downstairs for breakfast. I didn’t have time to bake the bread I wanted to eat. The staff baked it for me, and there were many varieties. Both Chinese and Western styles were delicious. This trip to Jiuhua Mountain really has to give a thumbs up to the hospitality of the hotel and the staff. 100 points, the trip to Jiuhua Mountain was very enjoyable and I will come again next time~

I stayed at the Holiday Inn, part of the InterContinental group, on Mount Jiuhua. Since I was driving, the hotel's location was quite convenient, not far from the Tourist Center and the Grand Wish Cultural Park. The room was pretty standard for the price point. The hotel offered breakfast and dinner, which was super convenient as I didn't have to leave the premises. Although the dinner set menu had simple dishes, the taste was quite good and ample for two people. The hotel's hot spring has both indoor and outdoor pools, but the facilities felt a bit basic. I specifically chose this hotel for the hot springs, so I was a little disappointed. InterContinental's brands still have room for improvement.

It's rare for B&Bs to have underground parking, but this one does, complete with an elevator directly to the ground floor lobby for check-in – a real hotel-like convenience. This also means your car stays cool, even on scorching summer days. The B&B itself is spotless, and all common areas are comfortably air-conditioned. The staff, from the front desk and the proprietress to the restaurant servers, were incredibly warm and helpful. They even thoughtfully brought out mosquito repellent when they saw us sitting outside – a very nice touch. The laundry room is accessible until 9 PM, and they even offer a fantastic service where staff will wash, dry, fold, and deliver your clothes back to your room. Truly exceptional service! They provide an electric shuttle service to Xixinan; you just need to call 5 minutes before you want to be picked up. The scenic area isn't large but wonderfully uncommercialized, filled with charming local shops. The fish lantern display at night was vibrant and festive, just like celebrating Chinese New Year! The locals were so warm and down-to-earth, even spontaneously lighting off fireworks. Right outside the B&B, there's a small stream where you can fish. In the evenings, they even have a live singer – apparently, it's the only B&B in the area with live music! The ambiance was absolutely fantastic. Breakfast is served in a 'Jiugongge' (nine-grid platter) style, which was more than enough. The baozi (steamed buns) and wontons were freshly made, and you could always ask for more staple foods if you needed. To top it all off, they even gave us a thoughtful souvenir when we checked out. So considerate!
