Hotel Hot Springs di Jilin, China

The room is very big. Our room is on the sixth floor. The balcony faces the outdoor hot spring yard, which is still very beautiful. However, the air conditioner seems to be controlled uniformly. No matter how you blow, it is always cold. The power of the whole house will be cut off at a fixed time, which is really weird. Our whole family was watching TV and suddenly the power went out, and then it came back on. It happened three times in total. I have never stayed in such a hotel. You have to pay for more mineral water. You can order food in the restaurant on the first day, but it is all self-service on the second day. It is very expensive, more than 100 per person. There is no other choice. I am really dissatisfied with the frequent changes in the hotel's policies; the indoor hot spring and the outdoor hot spring are separated by a long distance, and the corridor in the middle is very cold and windy, which is really unreasonable. In short, it is a very ordinary hot spring hotel. There are not many people left, and they are all on vacation.

The room was very spacious and clean, with excellent bedding and amenities. I booked two rooms, and they gave me the closest one, which I'm really grateful for. The price is also very affordable in the summer. Parking is easy. Restaurants and hot springs are nearby. A busy area with plenty of restaurants is only a ten-minute drive away.

The hotel offers a dedicated shuttle service from the high-speed rail station, which is very convenient. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and luxurious. I stayed in Building 3, and breakfast was right downstairs. The breakfast selection was extensive and delicious. The hot springs are great, with both indoor and outdoor options, so you don't have to worry about the cold. My skin felt very smooth after a soak. The ski resort is also excellent. Ski instructors at the resort are hundreds of yuan more expensive than those selling tickets directly. It's worth comparing prices first. The ski gear rental offered by the hotel costs 100 yuan, so consider if that's a good deal for you. The hotel also provides a 'green channel' to Changbai Mountain, which is not only convenient but also saved some money – truly fantastic! Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay at the hotel.

The hotel is conveniently located right next to the ski slopes, making it incredibly easy and stress-free to get around. After a day of skiing, there's no long trek back. The rooms are clean, spacious, and bright, with excellent heating, ensuring a superb stay. Rain provided meticulous and thoughtful service, and all the staff were enthusiastic and patient, responding promptly to our needs. The dining options were extensive and delicious, offering great value for money. Overall, it was a very comfortable experience, a top choice for ski accommodation, highly recommended, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time.

Crowne Plaza hotel is well equipped with onsen and kids fun slide facility in winter day. There is walking distance to Changbaishan entrance and shuttle back to hotel. But some facilities is come with charge. For children above 1.4m is charge for adult breakfast fees and not much dinner selection. The bedding size for twin sharing is spacious. But, I found their mattress quality needs more improvement for a better comfort. Butler Yuki (yue) do provide a very good service for our convenience and comfort during our stay. Overall is acceptable and some improvements needed.

Manager Summer was incredibly helpful, always responsive, and super patient. From pre-arrival questions about ski equipment deposit rules, the difference between day and night sessions at the ski resort, and how ski benefits are redeemed, to breakfast times and facilities in the kids' play area, and even detailed questions during our stay regarding children's tickets, room occupancy limits, and ski card processing – she meticulously answered every single one. She even proactively reminded us of crucial things to watch out for at the ski resort, saving us a lot of trouble. The hotel's amenities were also very thoughtful. Breakfast hours were convenient, located at the coffee restaurant on the right side of the first floor of the e-sports area with clear directions. The kids' play area was perfect for families with children, and customer service staff would even recommend suitable activities based on the child's age, showing great consideration. They also proactively followed up on our stay experience, asking if there was anything we were unhappy with and promptly responding to and resolving any needs we had. This kind of detailed and warm service really made our stay even better.

First, the Schrödinger's room upgrade. I booked a king-sized room with a balcony and a bathtub. When I arrived at 9:30 PM, the front desk told me they had upgraded my room, which I accepted. However, the room on the 5th floor had a balcony but no bathtub. When I called the front desk, they said they could switch me to a room with a bathtub, but explained that because their bathtubs and showers are not separate, they had assigned me a room without a bathtub. Second, the hotel doesn't offer free shuttle service to town; they'll help you call a taxi or arrange a shared ride. Third, a complaint about the food. The breakfast selection isn't very extensive; the bacon was soggy, and the sausage and eggs were cold. The coffee beans tasted over-roasted. Outside of peak meal times, only Korean food is available, and frozen dumplings cost 50 each... The main issue is that the à la carte dishes are particularly bad, tasting like pre-made meals. I'd recommend the chef consider a new career.

The hotel environment is fantastic, but I visited at the wrong time. If it were summer, with everything green, this little courtyard would be amazing. The room isn't huge, but it's well-designed and fully equipped. Since I was there for business, I didn't have time to check out the gym or the pool. Oh, and they also have hot springs, which I unfortunately didn't get to experience. It's really suitable for couples or families with kids. Overall, I'd give it an 8 out of 10. The points deducted are for the breakfast; the variety and quality weren't great, possibly due to it being the off-peak season.

The hotel upgraded our room type, making our stay even more comfortable. We also had a butler who recommended a delicious and affordable iron pot stew, and suggested a family-friendly rafting trip where we didn't get wet at all, and the scenery was beautiful. Everything from dining to accommodation and transportation was arranged perfectly, saving us a lot of hassle. The hotel's ski house is shared with the Westin next door, and there's a quick access channel to the ski resort, which was a lot of fun. The Hanashan hot spring tickets provided by the hotel were great for photos, and experiencing the feeling of both ice and fire was incredibly enjoyable.

The hotel truly impressed me! From the moment I stepped into the lobby, a staff member escorted me to my room, proactively introducing the hotel's highlights, as well as local attractions and dining options. The room itself was spotlessly clean and tidy. The hotel boasts beautiful surroundings, truly a tranquil haven. It's fully equipped with excellent facilities, including a gym and an infinity pool. The family rooms are particularly popular, and I'll definitely bring my children back for a visit next time!
