We absolutely loved our time in Benxi. As others have stated, Eric was amazing. He went above and beyond to help us, even on his days off. I felt so bad but he made arrangements and translated for us when needed. He took us on a hike and showed us the area.
The hotel was beautiful and the amenities were great. It's a little confusing on the booking but you can use the hotsprings and pools the whole time you are there, not just one day. They have lots of fresh fruit and drinks to eat for free too. Breakfast was great and so was dinner.
The only downside was the trash that the construction workers left on the hillside and we found some mold behind the heavy curtains in our room.
I left my medicine at the hotel when we left and Eric sent it express so I got it the next day in shenyang. He was so helpful and kept checking in. We are so grateful for him especially. We will absolutely return.

Service by receptionist was very good , we had some food that was cold so she offered to take it to the kitchen to reheat for us n brought it back to our room by a robot waiter .
The free Onsen bath was a added bonus n we could wash our dirty laundry in a laundry room complete with dryer for free .
Exceptional service from the staff and will highly recommend this hotel
Free Coffee n herbal drink n titbits provided 24hrs for free too .

I booked three rooms for a weekend with friends. Hiking and hot spring experience. The location is good, it is close to the scenic aerea and park entrance.The hot spring aerea was for our experience small with many construction sites.

真是超級棒的酒店，住宿，温泉，用餐都很好。服務熱情又親和。房間乾淨整潔，面積很大，一看就知道用心打掃的。泡温泉也方便，在房間換好衣服後電梯直接可以到温泉區，雖然泡池沒全開，但是也有很多泡池種類可以選擇。早餐是自助，菜品涼熱種類也不少，主食，飲品也不錯。是一家不錯的度假酒店。

酒店的硬件條件很好，房間很大，空間寬敞，竹心語雙床房的房型除了房間內有方形泡池外，室外還有一個長方形泡池，酒店附近環境優美，在公共區的泳池內就可以欣賞美景，唯一遺憾的就是酒店前台的服務意識略顯不足，辦理入住後，沒有提醒顧客去房間的路怎麼走，我們到的較晚，看不清門牌號，找了很久。

相較於它的價格而言，衞生，設施都遠遠達不到800的保準（我預訂的那天是800）。灰塵很多，因為是在溪水邊的小木屋，落地窗應該觀賞美景的重要因素，但是感覺像是用臟了的抹布塗抹了玻璃一樣灰濛濛的。床鋪的被褥有些潮，因為是小溪邊我多少可以理解。浴室和衞生間下水道的真的味道很重。正中間的大燈也是壞的，沒有燈衹有線漏在外邊。我們家3口人住了2晚4間房除了大床麻將套房感覺還算對得起8百多的價格。其他三間真的覺的很不值得那個價位，第一天住的雙床的房間價位較低但是黴味有點大，其他的還好畢竟3百多的價位不要求太多。但是八百多的那件小木屋真的不建議。（樓梯也是有點鬆動了）租房的小姐姐還有早飯的小姐姐人都很nice熱情。

We booked this hotel so that it’s nearer to go over to the Red Beach attraction compared to those in the city centre.
The room is super huge with a bath tub in the room.
The hotel is beautifully decorated with very artistic look.
Coffee/tea is available freely at the lobby.
Staff were very helpful and accommodative throughout our stay. Thank you for the unlimited water drinking bottles and the free gift before we left.

CcindyI have to say, the bathhouses in Northeast China are truly amazing, haha! The facilities are top-notch. The first floor has water play areas and hot springs, perfect for families with kids – they won't want to leave! The second floor has various hot spring pools, less crowded, ideal for adults without kids who want to relax and enjoy themselves. The third floor features a restaurant, a汗蒸 (Korean-style sauna), a kids' play area (naughty castle), and a cinema. The fourth floor has mahjong rooms and various lounges. The outdoor area looks like a lot of fun, but my child was too young and the weather wasn't warm enough, so we didn't go to any of those. Also, the most impressive and longest swimming pool only opens on May 1st. For dining, there are both buffet and à la carte options (the restaurant has different time slots; once the buffet ends, you can order à la carte). The buffet offers hot pot, BBQ, and seafood – excellent value for money. If you're not staying in a villa, your accommodation will be in the same building as the hot springs, on the 5th floor, which is quite convenient overall. The hotel breakfast is very rich and, in my opinion, even better than the hot spring buffet!

KKoshkina AnastasiiaThe hotel isn't new, but it's well-maintained, and the landscaping is beyond reproach! We took the metro to the final station, then a Didi/Alipay taxi. It was 14:00 there and 18:00 back. We booked a very basic room with one large bed, which looked like it was 2 by 2 meters. We stayed in November. The whole hotel was warm. There's a separate area with large indoor pools and slides for children aged 3 or older. The onsen itself is divided into three equal parts: one common area and two specifically for men and women, where swimsuits are not allowed. The common area has two outdoor onsen and a large heated pool. The women's area has a more fun outdoor landscape and baths than the common area. There were always crowds of people there. Sometimes it was children screaming and splashing around. Sometimes it was just peace and quiet. It closes at 9:00 PM, so we were practically alone in the evening. It's a perfect place for autumn! The air is cool, and sitting in the bath by the moonlight is pure bliss!!! There are also separate foot baths outside. They also have a really great atmosphere. We looked at the menu; the dishes were complex, with lots of sauces and seafood. The prices were high, but we didn't feel like eating them. The breakfast was beautifully presented, but rather basic, nothing special. We had the same at the Ibis. Overall, we were very pleased! You could stay for 2-3 days and really chill out, if only the food was more basic or we could get the hang of delivery. We paid 12,400 rubles per night; we were with a 10-year-old child, but he's not very expensive, so there were no extra charges. Overall, it was a great experience for the cold season! We recommend it.

QQimiaodedengtaThe purpose of this trip to Benxi was twofold: Firstly, to take my seventy-year-old parents back to Benxi Water Caves, revisiting a place from their vibrant youth and reliving those passionate memories. Secondly, it was to help my daughter de-stress before she transitions from primary to junior high, as she's about to step into the demanding arena of life.
**Reason for choosing this place:** We picked Guan Shan Lake Xikang Yunshe because its online photos were simply breathtaking – showcasing stunning scenery, lush greenery, magnificent views, and picturesque beauty that truly captivated me and made me want to experience it firsthand. (Honestly, with so many guesthouses and hotels sprouting up across Benxi like mushrooms after rain these past two years, to avoid decision paralysis, I simply picked the top-ranked one.)
**First Impression:** The mountains were in a languid slumber, while the clouds playfully sketched the outline of a castle. At three in the afternoon, the golden sunlight pierced through the clouds, bathing the grey castle in a glow that felt like a divine touch and special favor. (Though this description might seem a bit exaggerated, I believe even Eileen Chang would write it this way.)
Let me discuss the facilities, hygiene, environment, service, unique hot springs, and buffet breakfast all at once:
* **Facilities:** Among all hotels I've stayed at in the same price range, these are personally the most satisfactory and my favorite.
* **Hygiene:** There's still room for improvement. I admit I have exceptionally high standards for cleanliness; my husband, whose pocket money has been depleted by my pickiness, can attest to that.
* **Environment:** The advantages here are self-evident: blessed with unique green mountains, clear waters, and swirling mist. There's simply no room for me to find fault, and I suspect the people of Benxi wouldn't allow it anyway!
* **Service:** I deliberately tried to count the staff members I encountered: two doormen, four charming front desk staff, a villa driver, a room cleaning attendant, kitchen/delivery personnel, staff in the hot spring area, and dining areas... Oh, never mind, I confess my math isn't good enough to count them all. In short, every staff member I met was patient, caring, and dedicated. Their service was perfectly balanced, attentive without being overly enthusiastic. Yes, the hotel management behind the scenes certainly deserves a grand commendation.
* **Unique Hot Springs:** Both my mom and daughter had a wonderful time soaking. My daughter was thrilled because there was unlimited ice cream available, which she could openly and freely enjoy – something I don't usually permit at home. My mom, in turn, was happy seeing her daughter so joyful. Given that the ice cream was actually quite high-quality, I even broke my own rule and indulged in quite a bit. It wasn't just about taking advantage of something free; it was more about not wanting to be a hypocrite with one rule for them and another for me. There were also plenty of unlimited fruits and snacks, perfect for quenching thirst and cooling down.
* **Buffet Breakfast:** The buffet breakfast offered a wide variety. I prefer strong flavors in the morning and enjoyed a generous amount of boiled shrimp, baked beans in tomato sauce, Italian beef brisket, bacon, and homemade yogurt. For those who prefer lighter options, the traditional Chinese breakfast choices were truly dazzling.
**A Side Note:** At 4:27 AM, I leaned by the hot spring pool in my room. The water temperature was 37.2 degrees Celsius, exactly half a degree higher than my body temperature – just enough to help my tense nerves loosen their first button. True enjoyment, I realized, is found in places where even time seems to slow down. At that moment, I gazed at the mist still lingering over the distant mountains and fields outside my window, then slowly closed my eyes, drifting back into a soothing dream, only to be awakened by: ”Mom, Mom, Mom, is the hot spring water ready for me?!”

Hhrk0410I visited with my children for a hot spring trip. It was very cold outside, but as soon as we entered the hotel lobby, it felt incredibly warm.
Ms. LIA was truly wonderful. She arranged a comfortable, child-friendly room for us and promptly delivered all the necessities we requested.
Since it was our first time here and we weren't familiar with the area, she also recommended some fantastic restaurants near Gastein, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals.
The hot springs were so relaxing and warming, and the breakfast was excellent too.
This is definitely a place I'd love to visit again. Thank you so much!

The facilities are perfect, there are hot springs, there is a paddling pool, there is a large lawn to camp, etc., many suitable for children to play. It is very close to the surrounding Wunv Mountain, Wangtian Cave and Fenglin Valley. I didn't see the maple leaves, but I also saw the first snow this autumn. It was too unexpected.

It even has a hot spring, so you can enjoy a soak in your room without having to go out – super convenient! Staff clean the rooms daily; I happened to walk by and saw them cleaning even the bottom of the hot spring tub, which shows great dedication. What I liked most was the hotel's breakfast. While it wasn't a buffet, it was thoughtfully prepared every day.

GGuest UserTraveling with the elderly and children, we booked a tatami four-person room. This room type is available on the fourth and fifth floors. The fourth floor can be reached directly by elevator, but the light is a little worse. The fifth floor requires one flight of stairs, which is not very convenient. At that time, there was a large window that made it brighter. Each floor has its pros and cons. We have a lot of stuff with our kids and elderly people, so we chose the fourth floor.
The staff was very nice. They showed me two types of rooms and let me choose. When I checked out, my baby was still asleep from her nap, so they took the initiative to extend our check-out by one hour.
The surrounding natural environment is also very good, surrounded by mountains and small streams, it is particularly beautiful.
The downside is that the bathroom has a bit of an unpleasant smell and the room lights are too dim.

GGuest UserWe booked a 2-bedroom, 1-living room room room, but it was upgraded to a 3-bedroom, 1-living room room room, which was too big for the three of us. The dining room was fully equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, sterilizer, various kitchen utensils, and dish soap. There was also a minibar with various drinks and snacks provided. The hot spring bath had a bidet toilet, a massage bed, and both an indoor and an outdoor hot spring pool, both large enough for six people. We could soak outdoors during the day and indoors at night (though there were mosquitoes outside at night). The restaurant served good food in the evening, with generous portions and good value. Upstairs were two bedrooms, each with a bathroom and shower. The facilities were comprehensive, and we had a very comfortable stay. The second day's breakfast was also plentiful. There were boiled shrimp and Arctic surf jelly – so much food we couldn't eat anymore! The steamed pickled cabbage at the end was the best; it tasted like handmade, not pre-made. There was also beef noodles and various stir-fries. We ate breakfast and weren't hungry at noon; the food was delicious. Next time I'm in Dalian, I'll definitely choose this restaurant again.

Facilities: The hardware of a five-star hotel, the overall Japanese-style villa is decorated in Japanese style, and all first-line brands are used, many of which are Panasonic, which is very good. The hair dryers are all Dyson. There are floor heating and central air conditioning.
Hygiene: This must be said in detail. We went there with our baby and were very concerned about hygiene. Before booking, I found out that although this is a homestay, there are only 100 Class A homestays in the country, only one in Dalian, and only two in Liaoning, so hygiene has strict standards. All the linens of this homestay hot spring villa are sent to the Hilton Golden Stone Beach for centralized cleaning, and even the cleaning records of every bed sheet and bath towel can be checked. This is very important for families with children who pay attention to hygiene.
Environment: The environment is very good. Outside is the Japanese-style street of Jinshi Wanxiang, which is very good to visit. If you drive, you can't visit all the attractions in the surrounding Golden Stone Beach in two days. It's a stay of 2-3 days.
Service: After booking, the butler added WeChat. The service was meticulous. We brought our baby to check in, and specially arranged a large bed fence, which is not provided by most hotels. There are also barbecue plates and electric hot pots. The tableware is also very complete. You can cook by yourself with some ingredients and seasonings. There is also Zou Liguo nearby for takeout beef and mutton slices, so you don’t need to bring your own. I brought red wine, and I have a bottle opener. There is everything here. Hot spring: It is a real hot spring containing sulfur. It is slippery after soaking. The temperature is very high and needs to be diluted with cold water. The pool is also very deep. It’s too late to drain the water if you want to soak.
