I stayed with my wife and daughter, Overall my stay was perfect however I would like to highlight few things can be improved. Restaurant service is slow, food options are great , there were more than enough varieties orin the Buffet we always had the option to order from the Ala carte menu. I would like to say a big thank you to Sangeeta from the buffet restaurant . She was superb, as soon as we entered the restaurant she attends us with a big smile on the face. She know her job very well. Cleanliness- Room cleaning was done every morning when we leave for breakfast. our room cleaning guy Mr. Afazzudhin was the highlight. He always make sure our room is cleaned before we get back from Breakfast. He is a friendly and very professional I would give 5 star for cleanliness. Hassan & Family

i'm quite easy and my standart is low, but i like it autentic and honest! this place was Overpriced, not clean, misleading information. so I wonder how it can come to such a review, probably fake! Although I paid a higher price, to get a more comfort. it was a super small room without storage possibilities. the bathroom does not get cleaned, I saw it with my own eyes when checking out. hair in the drain, toothpaste traces, dirty bathroom walls. cups are dirty etc. no breakfast although breakfast is mentioned in the description, but then not in the equipment 😉. actually everything that is mentioned in the description is not true. you think the neighbors are standing in the bathroom it's so badly soundprooft, the bedding was dirty etc. I left after a night and had to pay half the price of 5 days. the owner was quite nice band helpfull, the only good thing

First of all, this is one of those hotels where the owner and his family is fully invested and interested in making the stay of the guests comfortable. This property is a hotel which combines some features of a home stay and a resort without trying to become either. It is maintenance and service can beat the best or more expensive hotels. I can testify it as we arrived at this place on 15th of April which was Vishu, Good Friday and a Ramadan Friday, wherein most people prefer to stay home and as a result all the staff was on leave barring one cook. Other than us (3 families/rooms), there was only one more family staying at the hotel at that time. The property has 3 acres of farm which has many plantations and many of the vegetables are grown organically. We are vegetarians and yet all efforts were made to serve us high quality food of our choice. Rooms are of decent size, clean well maintained so are the bathrooms. The whole place has a nice appeal to it and well designed. This place is ideal for events as well with large lawn and many rooms. It is very close to Kannur airport. It is also an ideal stay option before venturing to visit Waynad or Coorg for holidays. We certainly intend to find another opportunity to visit Green Planet.
