Free flow of kirins draught beers and soft drinks and delicious ice creams. There is a free beautiful ferry from the hotel to Miyajima island and very personalised service from the boat crews.  The onsen bath is fantastic. Both outdoors and indoors. Room is very comfortable. Plenty of parking. Will stay here again.

Amazing hotel and I cannot wait to go back. The view is to die for. I just wish I had checked in a lot earlier. The convenience store downstairs sells alcoholic drinks, bento and other snacks at reasonable prices. The shuttle bus is convenient but does not run that frequently so I recommend you to check it well in advance. I ended up paying around 3500 yen for taxi one way 🤣

The number of guests on the app did not match the hotel plan. However, the plan was listed as an available slot, so I should have wondered about it, but I made the reservation without thinking about it. On the day, the number of guests did not match, so I was a little flustered, but the hotel accepted it and dealt with it, which was a relief. The kaiseki dinner at night was also delicious and looked great! The location was great and we traveled by car, but there were two parking lots, so it was convenient to go to Miyajima. At night, there is a dragon boat that allows you to see Itsukushima Shrine, and it is a service that can be enjoyed by people of all ages and genders. I didn't have time to ride it this time, but next time I would like to adjust my schedule to include a private bath and use it. The guests seemed to be couples of all ages, families with small children, and business entertaining!

This property far exceeded my expections. I give much credit to the exceptional service provided by the Front desk team and housekeeping. They have been well trained and follow-up, as and when required. It is one of those few properties which I have experienced, as a global traveller, where it was difficult to leave. As foreign guests are also using the hotel, I would recommend basic English classes be provided to help in the delivery of the service. Thank you.

The hosts at this Ryoken are so welcoming, friendly and helpful! They picked us up from the ferry terminal when we arrived and dropped us back there on departure. This was crucial as we would have otherwise struggled with our suitcases up the hills and through the labyrinth of small streets! The location is a little bit away from the central area, but that is what we wanted. It was so peaceful at night, the deer wandered past our the front as we relaxed in the open air footpath. The food was nothing short of excellent. They specialise in seafood dishes so if you have an allergy it would be important to let the hosts know before you arrive. The rooms were simply and elegantly appointed: we had everything we needed. The onsen onsite was fantastic! After a long day of walking we felt very relaxed afterwards. Thank you so much to the hosts for making our stay on Miyajima unforgettable!

It was a nice stay. We took a Junior Suite with the private onsen included. The room is not huge, but has everything needed and is cozy enough. There are many amenities (in the pure Japanese hotel tradition) as well as a ”Yukata bar” in which you can choose your fav yukata. The biggest perk of the room is obviously the private onsen, which is a truly hidden gem. Very relaxing with a nice seaview. Staff was very helpful with the clogged sink (came just a few minutes after we called). The dinner was an impressive buffet, with a wide choice of seafood both to cook (the oysters, abalone and other shells to be grilled were wow) and raw (ikura all you can eat). Besides that, there was a steak live cooking station, shabu shabu as well as sukiyaki. Definitely a recommended stay!

If you want to stay alone in a pretty nice place in Miyajima, I recommend it. Breakfast and dinner are both included, but since Miyajima is expensive, the price is the price, and above all, you can feel treated with unlimited alcohol. The public bath was also great, and ice cream, coffee, etc. are free. On top of that, the staff are so, so, so kind. If I had the money, I would stay a few more days and bring my family.

We are one berth and two meals, and the food level is OK. The hotel is a bit old overall, but most of it is well maintained. Loan cutting wind is relatively shabby, cheap, and even a bit dirty. It is not recommended to take a loan to cut wind. The big bath is bigger and cleaner.

I went to Miyajima on a family trip and used it for the first time. It is a feeling that the old good old inn built by the sea near the bustling shopping street which is the main street is renovated for the present age, and the whole facility ~ the facilities in the room are unified and beautifully arranged It was a very nice inn where you can feel the old history in 々 while being able to feel it. There are many free services available only for guests. The hotel has a lounge with free drinks to enjoy the scenery in the lobby and the top floor, and there is also a service where you can choose multiple pillows and yukata according to your preference. There are plenty of drinks and sweets in the room, so I didn't have to worry about the expenses of fine beverages. This inn will respond as flexibly and pleasantly as possible to the wishes of the guests. For example, in our case this time, when we told our family in advance that there are people with bad legs, they can install a bed in a Japanese-style room, and change the basic dishes provided to each person's taste. Even if I was lost, I was able to make a flexible response and suggestion immediately, so I was able to spend a very comfortable time. The hot spring is in the basement, and it has an old-fashioned atmosphere with only a large bathtub １, and it is not so large, and the scenery is not good because it is in the basement. Compared to the hot spring resorts devised at this time, it may feel unsatisfactory, but it is clean and the temperature is around ４０ degrees, so it is ”good old” while taking a long bath. I felt that it was a place to enjoy. It was stated that the quality of the hot water was slightly salty and smooth, and it was pumped and boiled from the source. I was able to take a comfortable bath without being squeezed or dry even by families with weak skin. Unfortunately, there are no open-air baths or private baths, but some rooms have open-air baths with rooms, so I think you can choose according to your taste. What should be noted here is the wonderfulness of the food. The amount of meals varies or is insufficient depending on the course and price, which is often a big preparation at such a large inn, and the impression and quality of appearance are greatly different from the images on the site. Instead of having a sense of failure such as the dishes that were cold at the time of serving inn dishes, we were able to provide a wonderful dish of a more impressive level. This time we were in the room, and it was originally said that Masazen was the basic set, but ４ kind of seasonal course dishes (Masazen, delicious fish, delicious meat, delicious feast) with guidance on the site. I requested it at the stage of advance reservation and received everything with my family. There is no loss at all in every course, and the abundant ingredients unique to the land are carefully prepared, and all of them are very delicious, and the individual dishes requested by the order are prepared quickly. At the end, he made rice balls for dinner, which were full and could not be eaten, and he was able to provide a supreme time beyond the best. In addition, the breakfast at the dining hall I received the next morning was surprisingly luxurious with a large number of items, but the amount was gradually appropriate and very satisfying. The seasoning is natural, healthy, and exquisite taste adjustment and appropriate temperature, which does not rely on artificial taste operations such as umami seasonings, while protecting the gentle flavor that makes the best use of the goodness of fresh ingredients. The room is small but there is a table and sofa, enough space to open two suitcases! The 1/F hot spring is big enough and comfortable enough. Breakfast buffet is included, although there is not much variety of food, but the standard is good. Location near Sakezo-dori and JR stations, Lawson downstairs, although Saijo itself is not many restaurants, but overall good!
