Can't beat the location. Views from the balcony was stunning. Clean, safe, no frills. Staff were really really nice and helpful. What a great start to my holidays. Oh, and not too far from Oistens Fish Fry.

We are just back from our second stay at South Beach. A lovely hotel in a great spot right across from one of the best beaches on the island. The reception staff and management are fantastic and couldn’t be more helpful. The rooms are spacious and well equipped with cleaning and service that is second to none. The pool is small but perfectly adequate if you ever tire of the idyllic Caribbean Sea just across the road! Breakfast was included, with the highlight being the omelette station, my wife had one every day! We can thoroughly recommend a stay here and hope to be back again soon.

We stayed at Time Out Hotel from 20/11 for 2 weeks. Reviews were quite mixed, however we had no reason to worry at all. We booked a pool view room as reviews had stated this was a bit quieter than rooms by the bar. We arrived at the hotel about 2pm and our room wasn't ready, so we put our case in the luggage room got changed and went to the pool. Our room 317 was ready by 4pm and had a lovely pool view. Our room was immaculately clean , bright, 2 comfortable queen beds, plenty of storage, great bathroom with walk in shower, fridge, tea and coffee and great AC. Great balcony which was always in the shade. You could hear some noise from the bar, however the music wasn't on late and it didn't disturb us at all. We found the staff at the hotel to be very helpful and friendly. Pool area was great and no problem getting a bed. Pool towels were an added bonus. As you come out of the hotel Dover beach is just over the road which was lovely. There are plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from. We loved everywhere that we ate, food was gorgeous and of course fresh fish amazing. We would definitely stay here again.

Accra’s location is the best. So many options around to dine plus it’s easily accessible to many of the tourist attractions. There is a supermarket right in front which is very convenient. The boardwalk is just 5 minutes walk and it’s one of the most peaceful places.

Lovely place. Really enjoyed the breakfast. Sometimes it’s buffet and sometimes it’s not, not really sure why. The supervisor Sheron is a beast, she seems to work every day and always got me what I asked for. Definitely recommend thus place if you’re travelling on a budget.

The hotel is located on st Lawrence gap which has a few clubs and restaurants. It can get quite noisy at night. If you opt for the sea view apartment you are less likely to hear the club on the opposite side of the road. The room itself is great, there is a kitchen where you can cook your breakfast and make tea, a working tap, fridge, freezer, kettle, microwave. The balcony and the view is lovely. Woke up each morning looking out onto the blue water and blue skies! I went with my friend and so we had a double bed each which is very comfortable. The shower is a bit slow with water but if you run it for 3-4 minutes the water will get warm. We didn’t opt for the breakfast so cannot comment on what the food is like. Overall positive, my only complaint is beware when ordering taxi they quote in US dollars and not Barbadian dollars. The female receptionist misled me despite me asking her twice is the price quoted Barbadian dollar and she said yes. Then when we finished the taxi ride we were told it was in US dollar and not Barbadian dollars. I think that is a fundamental error by the receptionist and cost me unnecessarily. For that the hotel did not deserve a 5 star. In terms of location it is good but expect noise as you are directly opposite a nightclub called halo that is very noisy at the weekends especially the dj and his microphone shouting into it. The island is very small so everything is not far. It is worth hiring a car to get around the island otherwise the taxi fare will be expensive. A taxi fare from at Lawrence gap to the north of the island would cost you 120 Barbadian dollars one way. The hotel has a nice outdoor swimming pool and private chill out area and a restaurant to order drinks. Would I stay here again? Yes I think i would stay here again.

This hotel was exactly what we needed. From the beginning the service over the telephone was outstanding. Everyone was super helpful and kind over the phone. A special mention to Graham who arranged our taxi with Colin aka Taximan 246. Colin was right on time and took us safely to and from the airport. He was an amazing driver. We even hired him for other occasions. The staff in general was always wearing a smile and let me tell you CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN. The rooms were spotless and bed was comfortable. We were right on the Gap which made moving around even easier. I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone that isn't looking for luxury but is just needing a very warm clean reasonably priced accommodation in Barbados and on the St Lawrence Gap. This is the first time staying in the south prior to that we always stayed on the west coast, palm garden is in a great location away from the road and so you can’t hear the traffic like you can when on the west, there are also no cockerels waking you up either, and the beds the the comfiest I’ve stayed in so gets a 10 for sleep ! We had lots of interaction with staff and all positive the manager is lovely, Carmelita, cleaning staff and any issues were sorted out. Yes breakfast is slow but it’s lovely my son had waffles / pancakes/ scrambled egg etc and fresh juice. If you don’t want to wait the gap and rockley is a 5 -10 min walk and lots of buses to pick you up, we hired a car so out every day. The pool is great to chill in the morning and I saw it being maintained while I was here. You get what you pay for, I’ve travelled a lot around the world and this place allows you to travel on a budget, I was nervous due to the bad reviews but I need not have worried. There are so many places to eat and drink locally Worthing square is nice around the corner. The gardens are well kept and gardener does a good job. They carry out maintenance in the rooms I saw them painting and rooms are always clean on return after the day. For the money paid I would stay again 👍
