The owners of Lata Hotel are extremely kind and very welcoming ! They came to pick us up at the airport and showed us all the key highlights of Nukuʿalofa ! They also cooked amazing food for us, including lots of fresh seafood, we still remember the huge lobster and crabs we ate there ! Would highly recommend staying at Lata Hotel !

Me and my wife stayed here and found the staff so helpful and friendly. They organised a car for us for the day so we could explore the island. We also ate breakfast, lunch and dinner in the hotel and it was always top notch and couldn't be faulted in any way id personally recommend the potato soup and the Lamb. If we were ever to come back to Tonga this is where we would stay

Honestly I was left pleasantly surprised. Everything about this place was perfect. The breakfast was decent, the room was super clean, they had extra duvets, the staff were proactive and extremely helpful. I have traveled quite a lot for work and there are two hotels that have ever stood out to me, this is one of them. They had fast wi-fi, a nice desk for me to do my work, the view was beautiful and the room was perfectly stocked. The only thing it lacks is a TV but really not the end of the world. Although I do wish they would reconsider their check-out time, 10am is super early, at least 11am would be a bit ideal. Other than that, fantastic stay!

Had a brilliant stay here and just loved this hotel. Having booked, I was a bit concerned at some of the previous reviews. Let's be honest if you are looking for 5 star luxury this is probably not for you. However, I had a very large room that was very clean with good WiFi. Staff were very friendly and greeted me by name all the time. Not sure if the Chinese restaurant has changed hands but the food I had was excellent and very tasty. The hotel is in an ideal location and you can easily walk to beaches and other sites. High recommended if you want something slightly different from the usual corporate experience. Many thanks!

I had a good stay here, my unit was nice and clean. I was surprised by some negative comments, and at first, was leery about staying here. I only had positive interactions, though. The restaurant buffet was good and staff friendly. I recommend it.

Went here for a meeting while in Tonga. Great coffee and great pastries. I would highly recommend it. On next trip would probably stay here as we had a sneak peek at their rooms and way way better then the rubbish Tanoa rooms we paid so much money for to get dirty linen, dirty mouldy bathrooms, black hairs in the bathroom showers, leeks air conditioners. I would be using LITTLE ITALY NEXT TIME I GO BACK TO TONGA. GREAT COFFEES AND GREAT FOOD. GREAT LITTLE SPOT.
