Returned from a fabulous stay at the tranquil Rutland Hall. We stayed in a ‘cosy suite’ overlooking the water which was extremely spacious, clean, modern and airy. The bed was comfortable, linen, pillows and bedding of good quality. Everything you could possibly want. Staff were efficient and welcoming, breakfast in Blossoms was very good. You have direct access onto Rutland Water. Traveller tips. The hotel is built on different levels, in different buildings and on the hillside so could be difficult for guests with mobility issues but there were golf buggies which I assume are to available to assist. A £50 deposit is taken at check in returned on departure minus any charges incurred during your stay (in the restaurant etc). We were not made aware of this prior to our stay. I can highly recommend Rutland Hall and will most definitely return.

My partner and I had our wedding here. What can I say apart from amazing experience. From the moment we booked Wayne and his staff were amazing very helpful and stress free. They provided exactly what we asked for and only enhanced what we asked for. All along the way he was ready to answer questions show us around and give us helpful hints to add to the day. On the day the staff were amazing and the day ran without a hitch. Staff were professional and were there without us knowing it. I would recommend anyone getting married to go here Wayne and his staff are absolutely amazing. The views across the lake are stunning and a perfect backdrop to any occasion. Thankyou yet again. Our party of 9 plus a small dog had lunch on Bank Holiday Monday. From start to finish we were made very welcome we ate outside in the lovely garden. The food was excellent all well presented and the staff very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. One member of our party has coeliac disease so having a gluten free menu was particularly important and he really enjoyed his pasta dish. Everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed their visit to The White Lion. Thank you.

It was busy when I checked in, but the welcome was warm. The hotel is not accessible as it is so old and rooms are up a steep staircase.. The room was comfy and there were facilities for coffee & tea + biscuits. Bathroom was clean and cheery, good shower. Excellent breakfast.
