Beautiful place and very serene a place I would definitely visit again, we were there for 17 days. Staff extremely helpful always willing to help, and the breakfast was extremely good rooms are kept very clean with little extras which you would not normally get eg. Toothbrush & toothpaste all the things you need in your bathroom plus also fresh bottle water every day. When going into town quite far out so you do need a taxi and staff are always willing to call for you.

The hotel is located in a conveninet location, within walking distance to the Lagenda park and Eagle square-- which are a must see. I walked there twice in about 15- 20 minutes; it would cost about 10 RM by Grab taxi. Some rooms have a good view of the Maha tower and the bay --the tower lights up at night and is really beautiful. The bed is quite comfortable and the WIFI is very strong . The shower and hot water runs alright . The staff, Dan, was very helpful and helped me to complete my itinerary . I was travelling alone, but there were families there as well . It is budget friendly but the amenties exceeded my expectations. Of course it is not luxurious, but the rooms are clean. I enjoyed my stay.

We Mohd Rashid & Wife (Rosita) was very pleased and happy during our stay in Hotel Grand Continental to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary for 8days. Excellent customer service provided by the staff's, very supportive, helpful, high level of courtesy and well trained. Hence we would like to gratitude them with lot of thanks for the outstanding hospitally provided to us especially to Noor Aida Ayu, Mohd Hafiz, Zulfadli and the rest of the team.. Attended 3 days 2 nights Seminar in this hotel. Overall I would say that this is not a comfortable place to stay. The hotel is by the roadside, in the center of Kuah. Room and function room had a strong unpleasant dampness odor. Every room will only be given 1 key card. Need to pay RM20 (deposit) for energy extra key card. The bathroom door handle of my room is broken. Breakfast is barely passable. Last day before checked out, even before 11.00am, the house keeper already entered our room and pulled up all the bedsheets and put it on the ground outside the room. My Mp3 player was wrapped in the bedsheet without my knowing. Luckily I found out at that time and got it back. Huh! House keeping shouldn't be done before traveller checking out! I definitely don't recommend this hotel to all of you. Unless you are looking for a very very basic stay with cheaper price.

The seaview room is decent, though can be improved in the sense of room smell. The view is however amazing, and unobstructed. The bistro is disappointing. Order took too long to arrive. I specifically ordered a glass of mocktail and a chicken chop. Drink arrived after about 15 mins (acceptable) but the food did not arrive despite waiting for almost an hour. Since I had another plan to attend to, I called the waiter for my bill. Suddenly my chicken chop was said to be ready, and the bistro lady asked if I wanted to have it packed or dined there. Of course I asked her cancel my chicken chop. Guess what, it’s charged considering it’s cooked when I was about to leave. Funny right? I dont want a refund, but I hope the bistro learns the proper way on how to professionally manage an F&B business.

Kakitangan hotel sentiasa mesra dan bersedia untuk menyambut kami semasa kami masuk atau keluar dari premis. Perkhidmatan mereka sangat baik; apabila berjalan masuk ke hotel, kakitangan pun keluar untuk membawa bagasi kecil kami. Sarapan pagi yang dihidangkan dari jam 7 pagi hingga 10 pagi menawarkan pelbagai pilihan antaranya bijirin, bubur, bubur ayam, croissant, roti, roti canai dan pelbagai lagi. Selain itu, mereka juga menyediakan pelbagai pilihan untuk vegetarian. Kami menempah Bilik Premier King dengan Pemandangan Laut, dan dari bilik kami, kami menikmati pemandangan Menara Maha yang indah. Satu-satunya kelemahan ialah saiz TV yang kecil.
