The whole of our stay was of a very good standard. The hotel is in the heart of the old town and at a perfect distance from places to visit. The staff is charming entirely at your service and even makes as much effort as they can in your native language to satisfy you. The notoriety of the establishment is not usurped, and we enjoyed a moment of comfort and service up to our expectations.... But.... Two things urgently deserve to be improved: the menu of the restaurant is not worthy of a 4 star: food too greasy, too ordinnaire ... And the lack of soundproofing of the sea view windows is bad for a perfect night. I would allow myself a secondary remark, from a decorative point of view, the atmosphere of the place sometimes lacks coherence ... But this hotel is a pleasure for good holidays in this beautiful city.

Personale accogliente e disponibile che parla inglese. Posizione ottima vicino alla corniche e alla stazione. Camere semplici, ma sufficienti per il prezzo pagato, quindi tutto sommato va bene. Pulizia ok.

The hotel was centrally located with all important sights and restaurants within reasonable distance, the reception staff is amazing in their welcome and they upgraded us to a sea view room and thanks to Riham, Jermeen and Nourhan for their support in our stay to make things comfortable and Mahmoud in Room Service for tailoring a meal to our allergic diet as we have Gluten intolerance and it is not easy in Alexandria to find something suitable in restaurants outside. Finding a pillow selection was a big plus for us too. overall all seemed to be fine and the vibe of staying at this vintage hotel is really amazing.

كافيه اسكاندارونا ده اكتر مكان بحبه و برتاح فيه احلى فيو فى الدنيا على كورنيش الاسكندريه و على البحر و الاستاف كلهم اكثر من رائعين و تحس انك فى بيتك اولهم مستر عبدالرحمن مدير المكان شخص خلوق جدا و محترم و دايما عارف انا عايزه من قبل ما اتكلم و الخدمه ممتازه فى المكان كله و طبعا مقدرش انسى محمد و احمد و سرعتهم فى الخدمه و العظمه فى الاكل و الشرب واللى تطلبه تلاقيه فى لحظتها .. انا احلامى هنا كلها بلاقيها فى اسرع وقت و دايما الخميس و الجمعه فى حفله حلوه اوى و تسمعوا احلى صوت ماهر سعد و اغانى زمان اللى بتطربنا كلنا و تخلينا مبسوطين وفى موود جميل احلى مكان برتاح فيه طول اقامتى فى الفندق فى الصبح و الليل دايما موجودين و جاهزين للخدمه شكرا ليكم على تعبكم 😍

Room 1103 Pros: - good location (somehow central) - facing the sea - good breakfast, and could use some improvement for a 4 star hotel - friendly check-in agents Cons: - DIRTY. I've been to hotels of the same price range and this IS dirty. There were swatted flies and nose booger on the walls. Cups almost never washed. Hair on the shower floor - The AC doesn't work in winter, it's just a fan. I thought we wouldn't need it in view of Alexandria's weather, but the room was super hot because of the sun reflection. We also couldn't sleep with the window open because of the street noise. Two sleepless nights. There's only one elevator working but that wasn't an issue for me, even if we had to wait a while. Long story short: you can find better
