Hotel berhampiran Palais de I＇île, Annecy

This is an excellent hotel at the high end of 4 star. Breakfast is the best I have had in Europe. Rooms are good. Beds super comfy and a variety of pillows to suit your taste. Resaurant is top end. It has an indoor or out door choice. To sit outside with breakfast in the morning looking at the lake is beautiful. The Pool is lovely with plenty of sun beds and a great place to chill. Parking is in an underground garage and very safe. So safe most days our room key wouldn’t open it. Reception needs to sort that. Otherwise excellent stay over 6 days

Happy to have chosen this hotel for a short stay in Annecy. Easy booking and communicating with the hotel from the beginning! The Good: - very friendly and approachable staffs. easy breezy check in/out - top central location near old town, close to cafes, restaurants, shops and the lake! - great deco at the lobby, modern and filled with fun activities - parking garage right next to it - room with balcony and riverside view, also come with kettle. Nice air-conditioned. - reasonably priced Less Good: - extremely old parking garage - filthy dirty, small tight spaces, can be pricey for long hours parking - room and upper floors are very dated, old furnishing, quite basic. Not the same as the standard modern Ibis style - small, old and not-smart tv (not big issue but again it makes the room sad) Overall good for short stay but can be better for sure to suit the modern Ibis image!

Perfect location for walking around and public transport. Room was very nice. Staff were friendly.

I really enjoyed the very friendly staff and being warmly welcomed. It was so refreshing to see happy faces! The room was cleaned every morning, I loved that. The breakfast was tasty with local savoie items. The location couldn’t have been more perfect either. I was shocked to see it was right next to the train station and a couple minutes walk from town. The only thing I would change about this location was the small rooms upstairs and the limited amount of products in the room. We got the 4th floor room, which had a slanted roof. I was fine standing in it, but my husband could only stand in half the room because he was so tall. As far as the products, it would have been nice to have a couple tea bags or cups to go with the tea kettle. Maybe even shampoo or tissues too. Other than that, everything was great! I would definitely book with them again. Very happy with my stay.

En week-end prolongé à Annecy, nous avons séjourné dans la chambre 501. Très belle chambre spacieuse, décoration soignée. Les parties communes et notamment la salle des petits déjeuners sont très agréables. Personnel sympathique. L’hôtel est également très bien situé à proximité de la gare et de la vieille ville. Very friendly staff at front desk and at breakfast time. The hotel is very clean, rooms are clean and very nice, and breakfast buffet was very yummy. The location is convenient and a short walk from the Old town. Some things to be aware of: Be careful of the room that you may be given if it is on a lower floor and right over the railway under the hotel. When I first checked in, I was given one of these rooms (might have been 306?), However, before even setting my luggage down, the train rolled through and shook the whole room. I asked the very friendly front desk person (Lucile) if there was another room and she accommodated, by switching me to a room at the end of the hotel. The room was quiet, and was a very nice room. Next, be aware that if you are driving to the hotel for the 1st time, there is no temporary parking area in front of the main entrance, for unloading and check in, as you find at 99 percent of all hotels. You must drive down into the underground garage, go up to the card swipe station, press the intercom button, and they will let you into the garage. Lastly, the parking garage was a bit tight to navigate. My coworker actually scrapped the side of her rental car the first time she pulled in. There is a fee for the hotel parking. An alternative parking is available right next to the garage doors, on the right, which is for the train station. Another coworker of mine used this parking and it is easier to navigate.

The hotel is located next to the train and bus station which is very convenient. Despite the flaw about the hygiene and cleanliness of the toilet and bathroom, we had a wonderful suite room with balcony and full kitchen supply. The staffs were very helpful and cheerful. Highly recommend

Hotel ini menghadap ke tasik Annecy. Di pintu depannya, nampaknya kami berada jauh di dalam hutan namun kami berada hampir 10 minit dari bandar. Kakitangannya sangat manis dan profesional. Kami melancong dengan anak berusia 1 tahun kami, dia mendapat perhatian yang comel daripada pasukan semasa sarapan pagi. Perasaan bahawa keluarga lubang termasuk tidak ternilai. 2 malam ini dialu-alukan untuk berehat dan bersantai. Terima kasih kepada semua kakitangan yang menjadikan gerbang ini menyeronokkan untuk kami!

This is a really nice 3* hotel with very pleasant staff who made us feel really welcome. It's situalted very close to the lake and the Imperial Hotel. It's probably about a km walk from the old town. I would recommend hiring a bike to anyone staying around the lake as its the easiest way to get around and very pleasant on warm days. The room was a good size, had a lovely bathroom and the double bed was at least a kingsize. The largest bed I've ever slept in at a hotel! The mattress was very comfortable. The pillows were a bit average in comparison. There was no fridge in the room, maybe you have to request that separately. My only criticism is that the room pretty much constantly smelled of smoke. I suspect the aircon meant people in smoking rooms were perhaps getting smoke circulated around. As a result we had to leave our window open the whole time. It's a shame because otherwise it is really a great place to stay.
