Very friendly staff at front desk and at breakfast time. The hotel is very clean, rooms are clean and very nice, and breakfast buffet was very yummy. The location is convenient and a short walk from the Old town. Some things to be aware of: Be careful of the room that you may be given if it is on a lower floor and right over the railway under the hotel. When I first checked in, I was given one of these rooms (might have been 306?), However, before even setting my luggage down, the train rolled through and shook the whole room. I asked the very friendly front desk person (Lucile) if there was another room and she accommodated, by switching me to a room at the end of the hotel. The room was quiet, and was a very nice room. Next, be aware that if you are driving to the hotel for the 1st time, there is no temporary parking area in front of the main entrance, for unloading and check in, as you find at 99 percent of all hotels. You must drive down into the underground garage, go up to the card swipe station, press the intercom button, and they will let you into the garage. Lastly, the parking garage was a bit tight to navigate. My coworker actually scrapped the side of her rental car the first time she pulled in. There is a fee for the hotel parking. An alternative parking is available right next to the garage doors, on the right, which is for the train station. Another coworker of mine used this parking and it is easier to navigate.

Super accueil, quand on vous ouvre la porte en précisant votre nom .. ça étonne toujours un peu ! Le personnel est extra. Les chambres sont propres et très soignées. Bon matelas. Le mieux reste quand même le petit déjeuner .. tout est frais ! Petit bémol.. la vitesse de l’ascenseur 🤓

Perfect location to unwind, swim and cycle. We booked a privilege room which gave us a small balcony to sit and look across the lake. Note that these are side on to the lake not front facing. We hired bikes from Vincent the concierge (who was amazing, polite, helpful with great advice) and cycled around the lake. The electric bikes were very helpful as it was incredibly steep in parts. We stopped at Baie de Tallories for ice cream and a lovely view. We didn’t pre boom breakfast but did have it both days, very nice but overpriced at €30 pp Quick drink in the bar but didn’t go back as staff were quite rude, very different from the rest of the staff who couldn’t have been more delightful. Great walks into town for food and drinks. Will definitely return (just not to the bar)

Hotel ini menghadap ke tasik Annecy. Di pintu depannya, nampaknya kami berada jauh di dalam hutan namun kami berada hampir 10 minit dari bandar. Kakitangannya sangat manis dan profesional. Kami melancong dengan anak berusia 1 tahun kami, dia mendapat perhatian yang comel daripada pasukan semasa sarapan pagi. Perasaan bahawa keluarga lubang termasuk tidak ternilai. 2 malam ini dialu-alukan untuk berehat dan bersantai. Terima kasih kepada semua kakitangan yang menjadikan gerbang ini menyeronokkan untuk kami!

En week-end prolongé à Annecy, nous avons séjourné dans la chambre 501. Très belle chambre spacieuse, décoration soignée. Les parties communes et notamment la salle des petits déjeuners sont très agréables. Personnel sympathique. L’hôtel est également très bien situé à proximité de la gare et de la vieille ville. We just completed a three night stay in Annecy at Le Pelican and I highly recommend the hotel. First, the location was great, across the street from the lake and a five minute walk to Old Town. Second, while the rooms are not large, they are really well thought out in terms of space. There are plenty of spaces to put your shoes, toiletries, etc.... The bed was comfortable and large (hard to tell on the website about bed size). The staff was very welcoming and spoke English. Staff arranged a car service for us to the train station so we would not have to deal with taking our luggage through town. On the first floor is a cafe that is open all morning and afternoon that had coffee, pastries, sandwiches etc. and makes it convenient to grab a quick breakfast. We got sandwiches for a bike ride and picnic around the lake. Closest bike rental place is a five minute walk. Also, 7 minute walk to public beach, although it is rocky. Hotel had a nice outdoor bar area with chairs to get drinks and look at the lake and mountains. We ate at the hotel one night and food was good. The pool is on the small side and in a somewhat odd location in terms of having to go through the bar, down the stairs, but that is only a minor issue. This was a good place for families as there were many kids there. I found the price of the hotel to be reasonable and would highly recommend a stay. It's not a super luxury hotel but is really well designed and in very good condition.
