Location of the hotel is great. Subway is just downstairs. Easy to get to the tourist spots. The hotel’s counter staff, technician, and the staff working at the restaurant were all helpful and friendly. Thank Joyce for her assistance when the phone in the room was not working well.

The location is perfect, a ten-minute walk from the Union Station and just adjacent to the ferry pier to Toronto Island. The ferry just cost 8.70 CAD for round trip for 20 mins. It is a nice place to visit, especially those who enjoy nature. We booked a room facing the lake, which is highly recommended. It is a real picture taken in the early morning from the window. The room service is nice and the buffet breakfast with lots of varieties of food. I needed to have a zoom meeting, and the internet service is stable. Though it is a paid service, it was waived as I am Bonvoy Member. Do join their membership.

Good location and nice king size bed room Just wifi needs to pay and free for Marriott member only I am the Marriott member but during the check out , it charges me wifi fee , after discussion, then it was waived as I am the member , I would suggest to Offer free wifi for hotel customers as this is very common in all other high class hotels

The hotel is located within 10min drive from Toronto airport, which is very convenient for transit passengers. The hotel offers free shuttle to and from airport every 30 minutes. The restaurant opens till 11pm and has a reasonable menu to choose from.  Overall, good experience as we only stayed for one night for our onward journey.

I’m a big fan of the Canopy brand in general, but I have a hard time loving this particular Canopy. It seems like it’s designed more to look great than to be great. For example, the electric controls next to the bed are unnecessarily complicated— there’s about 9 buttons to control different lights and shades and things, and it isn’t easily usable. You have to hunt through all of them and try to remember the difference between the sconce light and the halo. It’s needlessly complex and that makes it harder to use. There is also a motion-activated night light under the bed, so if you get up in the middle of the night, it shines a light for you, which isn’t great if your partner if sleeping or even if you yourself want to try to go back to sleep. The night light is hyper sensitive, so it activates even if you just lay in bed and dangle your leg down. And there’s no way to disable it. If you don’t want lights going off every time you get out of bed, you have to shove a pillow under the bed to block the motion sensor or cover up the light. I love the filtered water/ice stations (one of my favorite parts about canopy hotels!) but the ones I used here seemed a lot more temperamental than others. You have to hold your water bottle at exactly the perfect angle before water will dispense, but since there’s no instructions, you have to poke around til you figure it out. There’s no little shelf in the shower stall, so if you bring your own toiletries, you have to either put them on the shower floor or balance them on top of the wall-mounted toiletry bottles. I also didn’t love that there’s no door on the bathroom and only frosted glass around the toilet cubicle. The bed was great — very comfy — and the blackout shades were an excellent touch. Very convenient location, close to the subway. And the decor is beautiful, very sleek and bright. It just all feels like it was designed without any context of how a guest will actually interact with all these things.

Good location. Near union station where you can catch the UP express train to the airport Bed is comfy room is clean and spacious. Opposite to the KEG steakhouse and bar and many other restaurants so location wise is great. Walking distance to art St. Lawrence market

I stayed here during the Toronto International Film Festival and I don't ever want to stay anywhere else. The location is ideal; the service is impeccable; the rooms are spacious, well-designed, and spotless; and the food is to die for. Upon check in, I was upgraded to a Junior Suite, which made my weeklong stay all the more comfortable. The bathtub, Japanese toilet, and views were the most impressive part of the room. As I got settled, I texted the front desk for additional hangers, and they arrived almost immediately. We had drinks at the bar that night, which were spot on. Every morning, I stopped by the cafe for a croissant, which was always fresh and delicious. Sleeping was heavenly in the massive bed and the room was always silent. We had breakfast in the Deauville Club on the last day, and I wish I had known about it sooner. I will be setting all my meetings there next year. This is the best kept secret in Toronto and I can't wait to go back.

The service of the cleaning and catering staff was very good. However, the front office staff was not very professional. I booked two rooms for my family and me for 7 nights initially and then extended for another 3 nights under another booking. I was confirmed by the receptionist on 2 occasions that I didn't need to check out and could stay in the same room. However, in the evening of the 8th night, we were told that we had not done any checkin for the 2nd booking even though we have got new keys to the 2 rooms that morning. It was such a mess and we had doubts to the security of this hotel. Besides, one of the rooms was smelly and we needed to turn the temperature of the room to around 20 degrees so that the smell was not so obvious.

We stayed at Sheraton for 3 nights, we came at 2:20pm and were able to check in. We had a room with the view to the square. Everything was clean, we had all necessary amenities in the room. Room was cleaned every day, as well as towels were changed, the bed was made and bottled water was provided. We've booked the room with breakfasts, that was a good decision, they were big and delicious! The swimming pool and gym area is also nice, they provide towels. At the time of check in they take a deposit ($100 per night) and return once the room is checked by them at check out. Location is amazing, walking distance to all downtown attractions, 5 minutes to subway. There are two options of parking: 1) valet parking ~ $70/day and they can charge your car (if it's an electric one), no additional fee for charging or 2) public parking which is located right under the hotel for ~$30/day + additional fee to charge a car. To sum up - it's a nice place to stay!

I can't say enough wonderful things about the Delta Downtown Toronto! We were treated like favoured guests, our every request was handled with professionalism and real concern for our happiness with the quality of our stay, and every staff member was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and efficient. The room was spotless and gorgeously appointed; even the bathroom was stunning with a fantastic view of the city. Our only sad point was that the pool closed the weekend we stayed there, for what I presume was emergency maintenance, which was disappointing. I would stay with Delta again for sure; fantastic hotel chain!
