"This is my first time staying here and it may be my last time.
Both the restaurant & maintenance staff were patient, polite, and thoughtful. One of the shuttle drivers was very detail-oriented and made sure to meet guests’ needs, which I greatly appreciate, but another driver was repeatedly late and had an awful, unprofessional attitude.
Upon check-in, a deposit is required and while that per se isn’t a problem, the credit card terminal/machine was very difficult to navigate. It ended up blocking my credit card from being used anywhere which is a nightmare for any traveler especially as a lot of places I go to are cashless venues.
The ‘do not disturb’ door sign keeps falling off the knob/handle every single time I open and close the door, which caused inconvenience repeatedly (not a one-off issue).
I wish they would modernize the air conditioning system. The one in my room was not working at first, no heating in winter is intolerable, I had to get the thermostat replaced which again caused more inconvenience for me.
Overall room cleanliness was fine except a few colored specks on one of the bath towels.
The room curtains as well as the shower temperature were confusing to adjust.
The HVAC noises were quite disruptive too.
I just feel like there were so many problems that had to be solved and friction to endure before I could even find any enjoyment in my stay. I know this isn’t a 5-star luxury hotel but even with that in mind, it sure did find lots of ways to disappoint me."

"Checkinn is the new high standard hostel ..I've travelled to all the Toronto hostels and this newly renovated hostel is the Cadillac of hostels .
I was a former staffer of the old park .this is a serious renovation of course with its Hongkong hostel standards ...check inn though a bit far from the main scene it's area is filled with super mkts and real Toronto street life . It could use a few study tables but the rooms r kept clean and a 24 hr sentry . Private rooms r my recommend forget hotels .
They could use a few vending machines esp after hours . The tv is a bit too big and no one uses it .
There r patios if u choose the right room . There isn't a cooking area but there r hot water auto dispensers .
Fridges plenty .
The only drawback is there r no set towel.
The place is kept clean which is important ."

"The ‘do not disturb’ vs ‘please clean my room’ sign on the door was wrinkled and broken so I asked the housekeeping staff for a new one. It seemed like the one I ran into spoke very little English so we had to rely on the speech-to-text function on their phone’s translation app. Fortunately in the end the problem was solved.
This time the room fixtures were cleaner than last time but some stains are so baked in it’s difficult to remove.
Also, all the previous times I stayed at this hotel the chair at the study desk had wheels and adjustable height but this one in my room this time did not. Not a huge problem but just not what I expected, based on my own personal experience.
When I asked the front desk for an extra blanket they had someone send it to my room within a matter of minutes which I’m grateful for."

"Hotel room is clean and good size. Breakfast has good selections. And the caretaker was great, our car was buried in snow and he came to our rescue with shovel. Front desks staff are not as friendly and some come across rude (instead of handing you the room key properly, it was somehow feel like it thrown to me). Also find a bit difficult to understand some of the front desks staff staff, which require longer time to explain."

"My daughter and I stayed in a 2 queen bed suite. The floors were dirty. There was a lot of dust, 3 socks and a pair of tweezers under one of the beds. The bed skirts were filthy dirty. Luckily the other bedding seemed
Clean. The space itself was great as were the furnishings. We received a small number of towels (one hand towel, one face cloth and two bath towels) and there were no glasses, mugs or cutlery in the suite.The cupboards were quite bare- one kettle, 2 plates and one pot . The location was ideal for us- but we felt we overplayed for what we were provided."

"Having Breakfast included was one reason I chose this hotel. It had enough choices to satisfy different tastes. In busy times more seating would be nice but usually people don't sit long to eat so it seems to work out.
Coffee/tea always available and hot! was a plus.
Location was great.
Beds were very clean and comfortable.
Overnight parking was expensive. I did it because it was the practical solution.
The $250 safety fee was a surprise but they promised to return it if all is well in the room.
Overall a great experience. Thank you."

"跟媽媽一起旅遊，到加拿大下機時間比較晚就選了這叫機場附近的酒店留宿一晚。酒店房間寬敞也衞生，唯一比較遺憾就是沒有提供一次性的拖鞋，牙刷牙膏和一些衞生用品也需要到前台詢問領取。免費的機場接送服務讓客人出行非常方便，早餐食物種類不多但能吃好吃，感覺是性價比和各方面都比較優秀的一家酒店！下次有需要大概還會再選擇這家～"

PPengguna TetamuI booked the hotel because it came up as having an airport shuttle. However, you can not use it as a park and fly location. I had to book a separate park and fly location which ended up cost me just as much as the hotel night. Which we only stayed for 5 hours.

VVivian Dewi ShenRequested the newly renovated room instead of non renovated. The hotel staff was very kind and friendly to let us check in at 1.30pm as our rooms was ready. Eventhough we didnt get the connecting room as we requested but we were happy enough to let us an early check in.

PPengguna Tetamugood location with a supermarket next door. bfast is good. unfortunately was staying there when they had issues with their water supply. it was very inconvenient as there was no water between 9pm to 7.30am on the day we needed to check out.

PPengguna TetamuI’ll start with the positives. This is a fantastic location. You are steps from major downtown Toronto attractions. Restaurants and shops are everywhere. The CN Tower rises right in front of the building, which is pretty hard to beat. The apartment was clean. There were lots of towels. The bathroom was bigger than expected. If you split this with another couple, the price becomes very reasonable for downtown. That said, the second bedroom is tight. There’s basically no space for suitcases or personal items. Now the not so good. Arrival and check-in were chaotic. It was pouring rain during rush hour and there was nowhere to park as instructed. My husband had to keep circling while I ran inside getting soaked. Despite completing online check-in and receiving an “online check-in complete” email, my security deposit hadn’t gone through. I had checked the many emails they sent and didn’t see anything flagging this. Even though everything else was fully paid in advance, they wouldn’t let me go to the room to dry off or grab my glasses to fix the issue. I had to authorize a manual credit card charge over the phone because I couldn’t read their links without my glasses. Not a great feeling. The building entrance is nice. Big, clean, and airy. The hallway to the unit is the opposite. Worn carpet, scuffed walls, chipped paint. Not the best first impression. Inside the unit was better. It looked freshly painted and was clean. I paid extra for a balcony thinking “Metropolitan Lofts – CN Tower” meant we’d be sitting out admiring the tower. That part is on me for not checking. The listing didn’t promise a view. Our balcony faced an office building and a parking lot. Below was a sad patch of grass filled with old boots, a broken broom, crushed beer cans, and what felt like 10,000 cigarette butts. The neighbour used their balcony as a full-time phone booth at max volume. If you’re not on the Front St side, don’t bother paying extra for a balcony. The unit had enough space for two, but it was too warm. The thermostat didn’t do anything. It stayed around 24–25°C the whole time, which made sleeping uncomfortable. The bedding didn’t help. The bottom sheet was just a tucked flat sheet. It came loose both nights. The duvet setup was also odd, with layers of flat sheets above and below the duvet that slid around. I kept waking up on the mattress pad or directly on the duvet. A fitted sheet and proper duvet cover would fix this. The worst part was the elevators. They are very slow. Plan an extra 10–15 minutes just waiting. The middle elevator felt unsafe. It opened and closed repeatedly for no reason. It stopped at every floor with no one there. It randomly changed direction mid-trip. One time it didn’t line up with the floor and we had to step down. That was enough for me. I took the stairs after that. Overall: 5/5 for location, 4/5 for cleanliness. If you’re a group of four, the two-bedroom can be a decent value, just expect tight space. If you care about smooth check-in, reliable elevators, temperature control, and decent bedding, this might not be your place.

TTati11I was somewhat disappointed by the lack of prior communication regarding the check-in procedure. Upon arrival, we entered the loby area, and we were welcomed by the security officer who explained to contact the company for instructions which included sending photos of my ID along with a separate image of me holding it. After paying a deposit, we were finally granted access to the apartment. This process took nearly an hour, and we were surprised to find that our unit was located on the 48th floor of the tower. While this didn’t bother us, it would have been helpful to know in advance, especially for those who suffer from vertigo.
Reliable Wi-Fi is essential, as a lack of connectivity can be quite problematic. The apartment itself was small and cosy, offering impressive views of the CN Tower. However, upon our arrival, the driver was still drying towels and bedding, which I found to be inappropriate. The small balcony had very dirty glass that had not been cleaned, and the kitchen was not entirely tidy. Additionally, the bedroom carpet was heavily stained, and we were required to remove our shoes. Upon checking out, we had to take out the trash and wash the towels, bedding, and dishes, which consumed another hour of our time. I couldn't help but wonder what the cleaning staff was doing.
It’s worth noting that a deposit was taken, and failure to adhere to the rules would result in its forfeiture. Although I generally avoid complaining, We felt overwhelmed by the expectations, especially after paying for our vacation. Furthermore, if extending the stay for a few additional hours, there is a significant extra charge. The elevators were consistently busy, and during our departure, the security personnel in the concierge area were rather rude, insisting we leave the lobby despite the presence of chairs and tables. We simply wanted to arrange our next ride without having to do so on the street.
Overall, I enjoyed the experience, but the apartment could benefit from more thorough cleaning, and the rules could be more accommodating for guests.

PPengguna TetamuFirst of all, thank you for the free upgrade. The views from both the bedroom and the living room were excellent, and the space was large enough for a group of friends to relax, especially with the poker and foosball tables. The location is also great, right in downtown.
However, the shower amenities could be improved, particularly the shampoo and body wash, and the toothpaste looked quite messy (fortunately I brought my own). The soundproofing is also not ideal, as I could hear the couple in the next room talking, and I felt a bit uncomfortable using the bathroom and blow‑drying my hair after coming back late from a concert.
The check‑in time is quite rigid at 4 p.m., although they do allow you to delay check‑in until 7:30 p.m. I was initially confused because I waited for over 10 minutes at the original building (before the upgrade) and wasn’t sure if the receptionist would come to pick me up. Once we met, though, the receptionist was very friendly and clearly explained the amenities and check‑out procedures.
Overall, despite the strict rules and minor issues, I really liked the room and had a happy stay.

AAmeetThis is like a oasis in a desert of sand or the hookies. Checked in at 11pm still found it very peaceful and quite place. Felt welcome and had a good nights sleep.. all the area is surrounded by ******* people walking on the streets.
