Im Rahmen eines Konzertbesuchs haben wir eine Nacht hier übernachten dürfen. Check Inn lief unkompliziert und schnell. Das Zimmer war sauber und ordentlich, gut gepflegt. Betten waren bequem und im Bad keine Spur vom Vorgänger. Die Lautstärke vom Flur war nur leicht zu hören. Das Frühstück war für den Preis sehr gut, toll angeordnet, reichhaltig und der Service sehr zuvorkommend. Alles in allem eine gute Option. Das Hotel an sich und die Räumlichkeiten sind etwas in die Jahr gekommen tun der Nacht aber keinen Abriss. Zu den Ladestationen im Parkhaus sei noch zu sagen das sie Anmeldung über die App nicht funktioniert hat. Die App erkannte die QR-Codes nicht. Allerdings haben die Ladesäulen einen RFID Leser so das gängige Karten erkannt wurden. Wenn man Glück hat und kein Verbrenner dort parkt könnte man also über Nacht auch sein Auto laden. Leider ist dies nicht klar ausgeschildert.

Das Hotel liegt etwa 15 Minuten (Fahrt mit der Strassenbahn) vom Hauptbahnhof in einer Strasse etwas abseits der Innenstadt. Wir waren bei Ankunft gegen 23.30 Uhr etwas enttäuscht, dass ein internationales Hotel der Dorint-Kette keine Getränke mehr an der Bar ausschenkt, sondern nur auf ein minimales Angebot aus dem Rezeptionskühlschrank aufweist. In vergleichsweise deutlich kleineren Hotels haben wir oft die Erfahrung gemacht, dass die Rezeption in der Lage ist, die Bar zum Ausschank der Getränke zu bedienen. Das Zimmer war sauber und ordentlich. Der Einrichtungsstil entspricht den 90er Jahren.

We had a really horrible experience in this hotel. We booked 2 rooms Suite from 23/06-25/06 , because of long ride to the hotel and long time spending on the border we came to the hotel 24/05 at 19:00. The lady on reception named Stefani was very rood and ill-mannered, she told us that hotel resale our rooms for other clients because we did not come 23/06 (and did not call to her and told that we will be late, we never did it before in any situation, and each time our rooms, if it was paid , was waiting for us) . According to hotel rules and world rules of check in its not normal. We fully paid for 2 rooms in advance, and in voucher there is information that we can check in from 3:00 pm 23/06 till anytime. It's not the first time that we come not in time to the hotels due to some problems, and every time our rooms was waiting for us, if we paid for it in advance. It does not matter at what time we will come if we paid for it. Its not a hostel or apartment, its 4* hotel, and with no understanding no service and rood talks like with prisoner. We paid for it full price , and why our rooms was resold we did not understand. Second thing is that the lady on reception Stefani was non-polite to us, she did not even tried to find some other hotel for us, we were with kids, she decided BY HER OWN opinion to not refund for us any money (I am not talking about full price, ok, as it was 24/06 and we COME to hotel, and our rooms was resoled, than the hotel should be polite and make a refund of one night from 24/06-25/06) As it is on website of the hotel : ” Will my credit card be charged if I don't cancel and don't show up? Yes, reservations are automatically guaranteed to your credit card. You will be charged for the first nights stay only.” So Ms. Stefani first told me that they did not get any money because they resale rooms, than today on phone talk (I have it recorded) she told me that SHE decide by her own made a 100% fees and she can get money back to us for one night, but she DONT WANT do it, because she did not like how we spoke to her yesterday on reception. So is it normal when some Ms. on reception just make a decision as she want? Not normal for us, we paid money in advance and arrived to hotel one day later (but still had 2 rooms booked and confirmed for one more night). We travel a lot around the world, always book good hotels, and first time have a situation like that! I really hope that I will have an answer for hotel and hope this situation will be fixed. If its not,it will be our last time in each wyndham hotels in the world.

Good location near the town and tram stops. Rooms were very big. The staff were very helpful with advising on trams etc to visit the sights. The gym was good as well. Breakfast was nice with a wide selection

We booked for 5 nights, stayed for 1, but paid for 2 as we left after work. There was no tea or coffee available anywhere. No kettle or coffee machine in the room, not available at the bar or in the foyer as some reviews have stated, so they must have changed that. There is NO room service at all! Breakfast was the only place you could have a hot drink and at 25 euros pp that's an expensive cup of liquid! They brought us a kettle when asked but no cups, I then had to request them and was asked ”don't you have any”! There is no fridge in the room anyway, so it's black coffee or herbal tea but bring your own coffee or tea bags as these aren't available either. There is a bottle of warm water in the room but it costs 4.5 Euros. The towels are old, thin, grey and rough. The pool costs 10 euros, even to hotel guests! Room wasn't serviced by 5.30pm so we checked out and moved into an amazing apartment hotel a few hundred yards away. It has absolutely everything you could want, including a pool for the same price. Positives of the westin - great view from upper floors, great bar staff and food. Also, they speak English at reception. We will never return or book business associates in.

The entire hotel looked like a haunted house. Only 2 or 3 guests we saw at the breakfast and reception area. Interiors theme is very poor. Don't go with younger children- they will get scared of the skull artwork and as well the dark statues inside the room. Not suitable for families with young children. Breakfast- very poor. We have to ask them to refill even the white breads or the cereals. Looks like they prepared the breakfast only for 5/6 persons due to poor occupancy. Parking - We were lucky to get a parking , because only few rooms were occupied. but I agree with other reviewers - they have limited parking space - 5 to 6 only. Finding a parking space in the street will be nightmare. WiFi - (agree with other reviewers) - Very Slow Heater in d bedroom - wasn't functioning well. room is only cleaned and cleaned every 2 days. Spa - sauna costs 15€ extra per guest and must be registered. Ridiculous Lighting in bathroom - Very Poor AC - loud. Phone - No phone inside the room ??? The key card didnt work twice during 2 days stay. I don't understand how they got 4 star rating ???

Wir waren für 2 Nächte in Victors Residenz in Leipzig. Das Hotel liegt gegenüber dem Hauptbahnhof-für Bahnreisende optimal. Wer Stille und Abgeschiedenheit sucht, ist hier selbstverständlich nicht richtig, da in Leipzigs Innenstadt viele Trams unterwegs sind und auch in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Hotel, sodass dies entsprechend auch etwas zu hören ist. Uns hat das nicht gestört-wir hatten das Fenster nachts geschlossen. Das Hotel selbst ist innen sehr stilvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet, die Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett und das Frühstück ist sehr gut. Große Auswahl, immer wieder wird frisch nachgelegt-da gibt’s Nix zu meckern! Den Restaurant-/Barbereich haben wir aufgrund der Kürze der Zeit und der unglaublichen Vielfalt an gastronomischen Einrichtungen in der Innenstadt nicht aufgesucht-sah aber chic und ebenfalls gemütlich aus und wurde von anderen Gästen auch genutzt. Unser Zimmer im 6.Stock war bequem mit dem Fahrstuhl zu erreichen. Das Öffnen der Tür empfand ich als etwas schwierig, da ein elektrischer Mechanismus das Öffnen begleitet-mein Mann hatte damit keine Probleme 😉. Das Zimmer war nicht sehr groß, aber geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sauber. Die Betten hatten pro Seite ein normal großes und ein schmaleres Kissen, jeweils gefüllt mit allergikerfreundlichem Material. Unser Fenster war mit einem Außenrollladen versehen. Das Hotel bietet Platz für größere Veranstaltungen, da es mehrere Konferenzräume hat. Wir würden das Victors Residenz wieder buchen, vor allem, wenn wir mit der Bahn anreisen. Preis und Leistung haben für uns gestimmt!
