Ulasan Aso Plaza Hotel

To be expected in such a small town, the hotel is quite old and dated. The tatami room can accommodate four futons for a family of four, but there is almost no room left for anything else. The public onsen on 1F and roof are included with your stay. This hotel is great value for money if you know what a traditional Japanese onsen hotel is like.

The picturesque scenery and outdoor onsen were delightful. The stay with dinner and breakfast included was absolutely fantastic value for money. Dinner was incredibly generous, and there was a wide variety of options for breakfast too. They even provided fireworks for the kids! My only slight complaint was that the air conditioning wasn't quite cold enough for my liking, but I still managed to sleep comfortably.

Views are very nice, especially from the spring, but the smell... However, meals are great considering the price

Classic beautiful Japanese hot spring hotel. Helpful staff. Stunning mountain view at the rooftop hot spring. Lots of free parking spaces.

The onset was good in that hotel as it had both rooftop and open pool and I found that the water healed my painful water. The room looked a bit old to me but I guess I could have chosen a modern look. The hotel receptionist was kind to recommend us where to go for dinner. I think it is one of the best hotels if you stay near Mt Aso.

We visited the Aso region for our summer vacation. The hot springs were absolutely wonderful, and the meals were delicious. The staff were also incredibly friendly and helpful. It's definitely a place I'd love to visit again.

Hotel is old , dinner and breakfast is just ok but not exceptional. Consider the room rate , I will not stay at this hotel . The only good about the hotel is if you stay at the high floor , have a nice view .

The hotel is very elegant. Although it's a bit far from the station, they provide a shuttle service, which is very convenient. It also has its own onsen, which is fantastic.

Arriving before 3pm and received a black out front desk with a paper saying need to wait until 3pm for check in. There’s no hospitality in this hotel. The rooms are old, especially the toilets and some are not working, and the rooftop bath has algae, clearly not well maintained.

Staffs are polite, friendly and helpful. The hotel is very clean and spacious. We love the dinner set, and the variety of the breakfast buffet is not bad either. We did enjoy our stay in this hotel very much.

Hotel staff are nice, even though they are not familiar with English but they tried their to explain everything in details! Room are clean and actually quite spacious for three people!

Old hotel with basic amenities. There are 2 onsen and the roof top onsen is quite nice with good views. No bath in the room so you must shower in the public bath.
