"This is a fantastic resort! With the dinner and breakfast package, you practically don't need to leave the hotel for meals. The resort offers a wide range of entertainment facilities, including a swimming pool and a mini lazy river. The onsen (hot springs) are also excellent, with each bath providing a different scenic view. It's conveniently located about 1 km (a 15-minute walk) from Aso Station, making it very easy to get to the volcano crater."

"Great location, making it only a short drive to nearby attractions sites. The service upon arrival was very welcoming. One of the Japanese lady at the front desk spoke really good English and we spoke about nice places to eat so that was nice. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was soft and comfortable. The room had an open floor layout, which meant that there is no wall between the bed (room) and the bathroom. However, upon taking a closer look I moved that there are sliding dots that shoes you to create a wall between the two areas, so that was a cover design. In terms of amenities there aren’t many. There is a communal area behind the reception which has a communal kitchen that has toasters, microwave, coffee machine, cutlery and I think that’s it. There is a vending and a small laundry room (which you have to download an app so that you can pay to use). Finally, it is worth mentioning that the view from the room was simply gorgeous. Waking up to such a view makes you happy and excited. Overall, it was a really countable stay."

"This is a hotel in Aso where I stayed to play golf. The hotel lobby and the golf front are right next to each other, so if you put the hotel in your navigation, it will come out as a place like a golf resort. Korean staff will speak Korean. If the room is not facing the golf course, you can see the trees from the first floor. The room is spacious. However, the bed is uncomfortable, and the dinner is cold and there is nothing to eat. The breakfast is better. Next time I play golf, I will stay in the city and come only to play golf. However, the view from dinner was so beautiful. Also, the water in the open-air bath was so good. It was clear in the morning, but it gradually got darker."

"The tatami room is definitely worth experiencing. While the room itself has a toilet, there are no private showers, as guests primarily use the hotel's excellent communal onsen facilities. These fantastic facilities boast numerous hot spring pools, opening as early as 6 AM. Although the room rate might seem a bit steep, the overall experience and amenities provide incredible value. You get to enjoy spacious lawns, beautiful mountain views, two generous buffet meals daily (breakfast and dinner), and, of course, unlimited access to the rejuvenating hot springs. All things considered, it's genuinely great value for money."

"The all-you-can-eat dinner was delicious and fun! I knew they had marbled meat and other dishes, but it was fun to be able to try out about 15 different types of sake! The family bath was also great! I was worried about whether I would be able to use it since I had to make a reservation on the spot, but it was surprisingly empty and I was able to use it both in the evening and in the morning!"

"The onset was good in that hotel as it had both rooftop and open pool and I found that the water healed my painful water. The room looked a bit old to me but I guess I could have chosen a modern look. The hotel receptionist was kind to recommend us where to go for dinner. I think it is one of the best hotels if you stay near Mt Aso."

"We loved our stay at Kosugi Resort Lodge. The tatami room was huge and comfortable, with plenty of space to settle in. The unit comes with cooking facilities and a separate toilet, vanity, and bathroom — though the bathroom was cold to use during our stay. Location is great, with an amazing view of the surrounding mountain range that made every morning feel special. The onsen was unfortunately closed, but they provided vouchers for a nearby public onsen, which turned out to be a wonderful experience on its own. Overall, a peaceful, scenic stay that we’d happily come back to. Note to register at the reception which is near the entrance (parking lot #3) before heading to the lodge, about 3-4mins drive in. They have a resident cat which is super cute :)"

"There are four separate baths to choose from, so you can enjoy a bath with your family. The environment is very peaceful and the hotel staff are very friendly. In the evening, you can drive to the surrounding restaurants for dinner."
