The hotel staff is rude and we never got our room cleaned. Every time we asked, we got a look or an attitude from the front desk staff. My only hope is this place is acquired by the ICONA properties so real management would be in place. I won’t come here again.

We were there for an extended family getaway. The staff was courteous, quick to respond, and extremely helpful. The three rooms we booked were all different, very homey, and had all the amenities we needed that we didn't have to bring along. Our rooms all had kitchenettes that were stocked with all the cookware and dinnerware you would need, but since it was a weekend we ate out. we did use the coffee pot Keurig you need to bring your coffee and tea in the pods. the sofa, chairs, and table were comfy as were the beds. We will stay there again and are happy to promote this establishment.

I made a reservation through ******* only to arrive and find out that the property was CLOSED! There was no emergency contact through Beachcomber or *******. So were were left hours from home with no place to stay. Very disappointed that this was not communicated. There was no problem with the charges being made to my credit card!

The Beachcomber is a magnificent property in beautiful Avalon, NJ, with five-star accommodations and amenities, and offers a wonderful getaway for couples and families of all ages. It is one block from the beach, close to fine restaurants, and offers its own wonderful pool, hot tub, outdoor grills, and live music. Stay at the Beachcomber once, and you'll be back for a lifetime.

The Beachcomber was a well maintained property. The employees were hospitable and helpful. The rooms were charming and comfortable and the location was great - close to the beach - a block from the beautiful beach - and perfect for walking, biking and relaxing. Nice pool area and music in the early evening. I will definitely return.
