Bed and towels were good and clean. There was a faint smoke smell in the room and the heat/AC unit was very loud. Otherwise good hotel with good small touches. 15 minute walk from the center.

Nice and clean

This hotel is absolutely lovely. The grounds are kept clean and the staff is friendly. The ice machine wasn't working but it's a very short distance to the second set of rooms to get some! All in all 5 stars and we will stay again

Great value for the money, just a 2 minute walk across street from Amtrack/Greyhound. Pool, restaurant, nice large room. Not far from the old downtown...

When traveling from San Francisco to Los Angeles, I didn't want to stay in a hotel on the highway, so I drove 20 miles to Bakersfield. The hotel is in a good location, close to Marriott. It is surrounded by fences and has good security. Breakfast costs $10. The only drawback is that there is no elevator, and you need to climb the stairs to check in on the second floor.

The transportation in the town is convenient, and there is a simple breakfast. The heating is very warm this season, the room is large, and the health service is impeccable.
