Beautiful and modern hotel. Has to be one of the top 3 hotels in the Emirate. All rooms face the sea so you can’t go wrong with any of them. The rooms are large. So are the balconies. You have the option to book inter-connecting rooms for larger families.

What an amazing experience! In this review I’m only talking about things we did. There is plenty more we couldn’t do as we only stayed 2 nights. First let’s cover the resort: The resort itself is very luxurious and massive. The villas are huge (we stayed in the Al Rimal Villa)! Having your own pool (very private, no one can see you) is so nice, especially if you have kids who are in there constantly. We were two adults with 2 kids, 12 and 2. There are several restaurants but only 1 is open for breakfast and lunch (can be increased in my opinion, especially the farmhouse should be added). Unfortunately several things are only happening on weekends so try to include the weekend to be able to experience all the offerings. To get around the resort, you can either use the bicycles or the buggy. As we stayed in June, we used the buggy mainly as it’s super hot throughout the day. However, we did cycle in the evenings and during the day a couple of times. There are wild animals all over the resort. They just come and go as they please. Everything feels very authentic and true to its surroundings. Nothing is staged. If you like to see Camels and Onyx close up on your way to lunch or in the evening when cycling back to your room, you will love this place! Let’s look at the Restaurants. Farmhouse - this is a great restaurant right at a waterhole which is beautiful in the evening and a place where a lot of animals gather. The food, drinks and staff were great. This was our favourite restaurant. However, only open for dinner. Shame! Kheela - this is the only restaurant for breakfast and lunch. It’s nice with an Arabic vibe. The food is good (not amazing). The one thing that makes this place very special is the staff. They are sooo friendly and helpful. They loved playing with our little toddler Max. They truly made the experience special for us. I’d like to call some of them out by Name: Wandy, Hemal, Sujala and Susmila. I only put those down as they written their name on my partner’s birthday card but all of them were amazing. In terms of activities: We did the nature drive and camel sunset ride. Both are amazing! During the nature drive you get a real feel for the desert, it’s animals and plants. If you are lucky, you get to hand feed the gazelles. The ride itself is very intense with lots of up and down and many many bumps, so not suitable for small children in our opinion. The Guide, Martin, was great! I can highly recommend him. We also did the rainforest experience which is very lovely. We recommend at least 2 hours. Overall, this place is absolutely amazing and we enjoyed every bit of it! It’s also super kid friendly so highly recommended for families. The staff make this place truly special and add to the the overall experience. We can’t thank all of the staff enough for taking such good care of us.

Hotel ini dibuka pada Februari 2009, dan kini sudah 12 tahun. Ulang tahun perkahwinan kami di sini bertahun-tahun yang lalu sangat jarang berlaku pada masa itu. Kali ini saya membawa anak saya ke sini (video dan gambar di bawah adalah anak saya, yang sudah tua). Penampilannya semula jadi dan cantik, kehijauan masih cantik, dan fotografi masih cantik. Tetapi hiasan dalamannya sudah lama. Walaupun hotel berusaha keras untuk melindunginya, paip air di bawah kaunter air tandas, sambungan lantai jubin, meja, dan lain-lain tidak dapat dilihat dengan teliti (kaki meja sangat tidak stabil). Saya menempah dua bilik, satu daripadanya tidak sejuk di dalam peti sejuk dan satu lagi di mana air mandi tidak panas ... Saya sangat sensitif terhadap bau. Apabila saya mencium bau peluh di atas bantal di atas katil, saya tentu tidak akan berasa sangat gembira. Hotel ini sangat besar, jarak dari bilik ke pantai sangat panjang, tetapi perkhidmatan troli sangat perlahan, saya keluar dan memanggil kereta selama setengah jam, dan akhirnya berjalan ke meja depan dengan barang-barang saya. Uae sangat panas, 40 darjah Celsius, dan kelembapannya tinggi di dekat laut, dan pengalamannya sangat buruk ketika saya berjalan berpeluh. Suatu malam ada majlis perkahwinan di pantai. Ia sebenarnya perkahwinan Cina. Seluruh prosesnya adalah karaoke Cina. Nyanyian langsung melayang di seluruh hotel, yang benar-benar tidak sesuai dengan persekitarannya. Terdapat peringatan untuk para tetamu untuk diam di kad daftar masuk, tetapi hotel tidak mematuhinya. Bising sampai larut malam. Ramai orang asing seperti saya, mencari suara untuk mencari perkahwinan di tepi pantai sepanjang masa. Kemudian melihat-lihat sebentar dan pergi. Suara tidak bagus, dan lagunya juga dinyanyikan oleh orang yang lewat di majlis perkahwinan, jadi saya tidak dapat mengatakannya dengan baik.

Stayed in the family villa which was lovely but had a leaking pipe in the bathroom. After learning that management was already aware of this before checkin, we raised a complaint. Many apologies later and we were upgraded to the 2 bed beach villa with private pool. That room was Devine and would actually consider booking that next time. Breakfast was very decent with a big choice. All halal except one clearly marked section. Plenty of pools to chose from. Only downside might be that the villa itself is quite far from the main building so hold carts are always required but they’re not that long a wait. Overall great stay

Stayed at Mughal for 3 months (march to may). Very friendly and helpful staff that will do everything to make your stay enjoyable, whether it is to offer to help carry stuff to your room if they see you are struggling, print documents for you at the reception, receive packages on your behalf if you are not ”home” and in general solve any issues you may have in zero time. The hotel is specially recommendable for families (they have 1,2 and 3 bedroom apartments with kitchen), but also good for long-stay guests like ourself that look for a peaceful place located close to the beach and not far from RAK city & malls. The pool is nicer in reality than in the pictures, and if you want to ”upgrade ”your stay to a 5* experience, then the hotel offers day tickets (for a very modest price!!) to the 5* Hilton resort on the other side of the street, which is one of the best hotels in the area, with a really wonderful pool and beach area. There is also a public beach a little farther down the road (300-400m) and some food trucks and the fish market and harbour is about 500m walking distance to the other direction. Also a thumbs-up to the Liwan restaurant & Czech pub which is in the same building. The Czech Pub and Liwan restaurant share the same kitchen & chefs (the Chef is from the Czech Republic so I specially recommend to try some of the Czech specialties).

We were on a business meeting in Ras Al Khaimah, got free late and decided to stay overnight there. Had a last minute search and found this hotel! When we came, the big room we paid online for was still busy. The hotel staff was very helpful, they found us another room and offered a breakfast as a compensation. We did not try the breakfast as we were too tired but I appreciate a lot the professionalism of the staff who knew how to solve the situation with no hassle! The rooms are spacious and the furniture is new. they have teapots in the room which is a great +. the bathrooms are big and clean. There is a cafeteria and nearby too if you want to have some bites or fresh juices anytime. A big mall with carrefoure is just in front of the hotel. we did not have a chance to explore more neighbourhood as it was a quick stop over.
