Hotel Sanya Terran is the kind of place that inspires you to start writing a novel. When I arrived there in the late evening around midnight or a bit after, the entrance lobby had me entranced, as it was serenaded in a blue glow, trickling different shades and layers of neon and dark blue. It added an aura of mystery, as not many people were around. As I stayed there for a number of days, I felt, at times, like I was in an adventure novel. There are gigantic stone decorations that make it feel like you are walking through an ancient ruin. Long glass corridors wrap around many parts of the building and align with rows of hotel rooms (in one of the bldgs). The pool is lovely and nestled in between the two wings of the hotel. The second wing of the hotel has rooms and the fitness center, where many holiday-goers are active taking instructed classes. There were times were it felt like I was in an elaborate lair setting in a video game. The front lobby has grand seating arrangements, one of which has a foot pool recessed inside the main couch lounge near the front desk. Overall, it was wonderful, and I was able to meet some interesting individuals. The room was immaculate and a giant steal at that price. Just a note: when ordering takeout (esp. Western food), many shops are further away, and may not be able to deliver to the hotel. It's better to go into the nearby town to find food. The hotel manager was kind enough to drive me there one night. I look forward to going there again and continuing the thrilling adventure✨

I had a lovely stay at this brand new hotel in mid June. The service is top notch. Direct flight from Australia arrived early in the morning, duty manager Ms Zhang kindly checked me in earlier, upgraded room to a fantastic seafront, and accomodated my request to have breakfast on the arrival day. Reception Ivan is also helpful at booking activities, checking in and out. The breakfast is at adjoining Kimpton restaurant, thoughtfully open between 7am to 12pm. Breakfast has rich variety with fresh green juice, local special food and western gourmet. The welcome drink at hotel bar is relaxing. I like the crispy Chardonnay they sourced from Argentina.The hotel is modern, new tech and stylish. The room is very clean, new and spacious with dyson hairdryer. They have a few outdoor pools...the pool bar is not operating which is a pity...the beach is clean and wide..wave is too strong to swim...it would have been better if the hotel sets up some beach chairs with drink service to relax and chill...there is a professional shooting service available on site and complimentary Sanya Duty Free transfer is available to pre booked a day in advance at 9:15am or 3:15pm round. Overall, the stay is pleasant, less crowded, more luxury than most of the established five star hotels in major Sanya.

Raffles Hainan Clearwater Bay stands out as one of the rare hotels that truly inspires me to write a detailed review. As a coastal retreat, it delivers impeccable service and facilities beyond reproach. The property is immaculately maintained with spotless cleanliness, reflecting no-expense-spared attention to upkeep. What sets this resort apart is its warm, thoughtful service that genuinely makes guests feel at home. The butler service elevates the experience to another level entirely. Darryl, with his remarkable professionalism and dedication, crafted what can only be described as a flawless stay for us. From pre-arrival confirmations and personalized inquiries to seamless check-in coordination and attentive follow-ups throughout our visit, he embodied the very definition of meticulous hospitality. His ability to anticipate needs and resolve matters promptly showed what true five-star service means. Once again, our deepest gratitude to Darryl for making our stay extraordinary. We had an excellent experience at Hainan Sangem Moon Hotel. From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming and family-friendly. One of the biggest highlights is that it’s a perfect hotel for kids. The hotel offers a wide variety of activities designed to keep children engaged from baking activities and go karting to a waterpark that our kids absolutely loved. There was always something to do. Anna and Lisa at the reception were helpful and friendly throughout our stay. Their support made the whole experience even smoother. I highly recommend Hainan Sangem Moon Hotel, especially for families with children.

Our stay at Vaperse Hainan Clear Water Bay Hotel was okay overall, but several issues made it less enjoyable than expected. The biggest problem was the amount of smoking everywhere in the hotel. People were smoking indoors, even around children’s facilities, and staff did nothing to address it. When we reported it, it seemed completely normal to them, which was disappointing and not suitable for families. We also had a photo shoot included in our package, but when we tried to book it, the photographer was unable to accommodate us. This was frustrating, as it was one of the reasons we chose the package. There are restaurants within the hotel, but none of them are non‑smoking. They are all located on the ground floor where people smoke freely, and the smoking areas are so close to the non‑smoking areas that it makes no sense. It’s very uncomfortable for guests who don’t smoke, especially families with children. Overall, the stay was acceptable, but the lack of smoke‑free spaces and the poor enforcement of smoking rules made it far from ideal.

I had a truly wonderful experience during my stay, and one of the highlights was the impeccable service provided by our butler, Joe. From the moment we arrived, Joe made us feel incredibly welcomed and taken care of. He was attentive without being intrusive, always anticipating our needs and offering help before we even had to ask. Thanks to Joe, this trip felt seamless and relaxing from beginning to end. I can’t thank him enough for his kindness and dedication. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for outstanding service and a truly memorable experience.

酒店房間很大，看樣子應該有三十多平，真的巨大，而且服務很好特別有耐心，基本上會滿足我們所有的要求，房間睡起來也很舒服，床墊很軟，房間隔音也很好，睡的比較安靜。房間的設施應該是一大亮點，應有盡有，一次性馬桶墊、一次性紙杯、香皂、一次性刮鬍刀等等都有，這是我不敢想象的，一百左右的價格設施這麼齊全完善，酒店周邊吃喝玩樂啥都有很方便，這次帶父母來旅遊玩的很開心，在這裏住的也很開心，爸媽説下次來旅遊還住這裏

I am a traveler from South Korea, and I am quite tall. I had an incredibly enjoyable trip. The hotel staff provided the best hospitality I have ever experienced. Choosing this hotel was the luckiest decision. They not only took me to the places I wanted to go but also went above and beyond to resolve any issues, like when I lost my phone. Thanks to them, I didn't feel any of the inconveniences that can come with not speaking Chinese during my trip to China. Despite the clear language barrier, I never expressed any discomfort. I deeply appreciate their kindness. If I visit this region again, I will definitely stay at this hotel without any hesitation. The apartment is located in a large community block that is mosly empty and rented by a local real estate agency that serves as a reception during opening hours. Check in if you are a foreigner is quite slow, but the staff are friendly and you can rent ebikes from them which is nice. The free community pool is probably one of the better community ones I have seen and they maintain it well because the water was clean. On the downside it is closed on Monday due to that same maintenance so plan accordingly. The fact that very people live there all year long shows, the building have this decreipt look and elevator hallway smelled really bad. The apartment itself had a few problems, notably the washing machine drain was blocked so it caused a flood and the beds were not the comfiest ever but still adequate. The closest beach is about 1km away and it is a mediocre beach for swimming but it is where people come to watch the launch which is probably the main reason people come here in the first place. If you actually want to swim&surf in a blue sea, there is a great smaller beach near the buddha temple(picture 4) about 5 km with ebike or taxi.
