Hotel Sanya Terran is the kind of place that inspires you to start writing a novel. When I arrived there in the late evening around midnight or a bit after, the entrance lobby had me entranced, as it was serenaded in a blue glow, trickling different shades and layers of neon and dark blue. It added an aura of mystery, as not many people were around. As I stayed there for a number of days, I felt, at times, like I was in an adventure novel. There are gigantic stone decorations that make it feel like you are walking through an ancient ruin. Long glass corridors wrap around many parts of the building and align with rows of hotel rooms (in one of the bldgs). The pool is lovely and nestled in between the two wings of the hotel. The second wing of the hotel has rooms and the fitness center, where many holiday-goers are active taking instructed classes. There were times were it felt like I was in an elaborate lair setting in a video game. The front lobby has grand seating arrangements, one of which has a foot pool recessed inside the main couch lounge near the front desk. Overall, it was wonderful, and I was able to meet some interesting individuals. The room was immaculate and a giant steal at that price. Just a note: when ordering takeout (esp. Western food), many shops are further away, and may not be able to deliver to the hotel. It's better to go into the nearby town to find food. The hotel manager was kind enough to drive me there one night. I look forward to going there again and continuing the thrilling adventure✨

Raffles Hainan Clearwater Bay stands out as one of the rare hotels that truly inspires me to write a detailed review. As a coastal retreat, it delivers impeccable service and facilities beyond reproach. The property is immaculately maintained with spotless cleanliness, reflecting no-expense-spared attention to upkeep. What sets this resort apart is its warm, thoughtful service that genuinely makes guests feel at home. The butler service elevates the experience to another level entirely. Darryl, with his remarkable professionalism and dedication, crafted what can only be described as a flawless stay for us. From pre-arrival confirmations and personalized inquiries to seamless check-in coordination and attentive follow-ups throughout our visit, he embodied the very definition of meticulous hospitality. His ability to anticipate needs and resolve matters promptly showed what true five-star service means. Once again, our deepest gratitude to Darryl for making our stay extraordinary. I had a lovely stay at this brand new hotel in mid June. The service is top notch. Direct flight from Australia arrived early in the morning, duty manager Ms Zhang kindly checked me in earlier, upgraded room to a fantastic seafront, and accomodated my request to have breakfast on the arrival day. Reception Ivan is also helpful at booking activities, checking in and out. The breakfast is at adjoining Kimpton restaurant, thoughtfully open between 7am to 12pm. Breakfast has rich variety with fresh green juice, local special food and western gourmet. The welcome drink at hotel bar is relaxing. I like the crispy Chardonnay they sourced from Argentina.The hotel is modern, new tech and stylish. The room is very clean, new and spacious with dyson hairdryer. They have a few outdoor pools...the pool bar is not operating which is a pity...the beach is clean and wide..wave is too strong to swim...it would have been better if the hotel sets up some beach chairs with drink service to relax and chill...there is a professional shooting service available on site and complimentary Sanya Duty Free transfer is available to pre booked a day in advance at 9:15am or 3:15pm round. Overall, the stay is pleasant, less crowded, more luxury than most of the established five star hotels in major Sanya.

We had an excellent experience at Hainan Sangem Moon Hotel. From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming and family-friendly. One of the biggest highlights is that it’s a perfect hotel for kids. The hotel offers a wide variety of activities designed to keep children engaged from baking activities and go karting to a waterpark that our kids absolutely loved. There was always something to do. Anna and Lisa at the reception were helpful and friendly throughout our stay. Their support made the whole experience even smoother. I highly recommend Hainan Sangem Moon Hotel, especially for families with children.

The stay was great. The beach is peaceful and, off season, is almost deserted. The hotel is brand new and some of the staff speak English and go out of their way to help. Large rooms with everything new in them . There're seafood restaurants everywhere around the hotel. They still have fishing villages on the Bay, so you can literally order the freshest seafood from a fishing village restaurant. The hotel has a nice swimming pool where you can paddle-board. Right next to the swimming pool there's a dedicated area for trying your hand at archery. Free of charge. I enjoyed both paddle boarding and shooting arrows. If you don't know how to do the latter, the hotel staff shows you how. That was fun...

Cleanliness - 5/5 - Hotel was spotlessly clean. Location - 3/5 - The hotel is a bit out of the way but this is a destination hotel, the hotel itself is the attraction so for one night this worked for us. Service - 5/5 - The staff were amazing and very friendly! The staff at the hot spring and at the buffet were very helpful and friendly! Amenities - 5/5 - When we checked in we were given a free cookie as a welcome and the staff upgraded our room which was really kind. The hot spring was really nice and the swimming pool was so big! It was the biggest swimming pool I have ever seen. Some of the hot springs are under maintenance but 4 were open for us and we had them mostly to ourselves. Finally, the breakfast was massive offering such a diverse selection of foods including many local dishes.

What can I say about this place. The staff were so kind and welcoming. The staff at this location made everything better. The location is a nice break away from the hectic. The beach at your footstep and a nice shaded area by the pool. Did I mention the staff? So wonderful and went beyond what was needed or asked for. I will always remember my short stay there and recommend this hotel.. the only complaint and it’s not about the hotel but on the island is the lack of smoking regulations. People smoke everywhere, restaurants, the washrooms.. everywhere. I really do hope that changes. Again my thanks to the staff at this location

What a Gem we have found! One of the best places we have stayed in a while. Everyone was super friendly, so accommodating, and what a beautiful place! We are already planning our next stay! 100% suggest that people go and experience this wonderful atmosphere in nature. Five star quality stay!

This is a very nice hotel. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable and the bedding and pillows just right. There was also a great balcony., I would have liked a relaxing chair on there, but the furniture was okay. The service is excellent, the people are very friendly and extremely helpful. The pool is nice and clean, the yard is very pretty. The gym is a bit outdated and could do with a makeover and a location other than the dark cellar. Nearby is a pretty beach, a lovely park and an entertaining mall. If you take one of the siden street, you’ll find local shops. There is a bit of noise coming from the streets at night, but if you close the doors, it’s not too much of a bother and stops around 12:00 PM. Airconditioning is working really well. Had a great time, will visit again!
