Hotel staff, were professional, efficient and friendly. I was on a business trip, the hotel was convenient for a good connection to the road network, in the morning for business. While being convenient for access to the city and other amenities in the evening.

Excellent location opposite the cathedral and very close to the main station. I had a single room on the top floor that had a balcony with an amazing view.
Only negatives were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room and the reception staff downstairs were not particularly smiley or welcoming. I hadn’t paid for breakfast in advance but they should still have mentioned it to me as an option when I checked in.

Sehr Modern eingerichtet und die Zimmer sind sauber. Leider war bei unserem Besuch am 21.08.2021 die Mini Bar nicht bestückt. Ich denke aber, dass dies der Corona Situation geschuldet ist. Leider gibt es im Hotel keine Bar. Sollte man Durst am spätenAbend bekommen steht ein Getränkeautomat zu Verfügung . Das Früstück Buffet ist vollkommen in Ordnung , man sollte aber jetzt kein 4 Sterne Buffet erwarten, aber man wird satt und die Auswahl ist auch OK.

Friendly desk staff. Comfortable beds. No mini fridge in room. Rooms were provided with a bottle of water which was nice. Plenty of storage. The soap provided in the bathroom was of poor quality so definitely bring your own. Breakfast was ok. It seemed far too expensive for what it was- yogurt/bread/cheese/ eggs/ honey . One day we found mouldy yogurt/orange/crudités - they dealt with this swiftly and didn’t charge us for breakfast. Housekeeping didn’t come once during our 3 night stay. One of the chairs in our room had questionable stains on it. The gym looked very small and only had one set of weights and an elliptical machine. Overall a comfortable stay. More 3 star than 4 star hotel. Was conveniently situated close to good shops and restaurants.

Das Hotel ist nicht weit vom Bahnhof entfernt, was perfekt für meinen Ausflug. Kostenfreies WLAN. 24h Service am Tresen unten. Freundliches Personal. Betten waren sauber. Als billige Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten gerne wieder, viel Zeit würde ich jetzt nicht gerne im Hotelzimmer verbringen, aber ich denke dafür nutzt man es auch nicht.

We stayed at this hotel for one night. I really liked it - the room was spacious and very clean, and it had everything you'd need and expect. The buffet breakfast was lovely. The location is amazing - right in the city centre and a short walk from the cathedral and main railway station. The night reception staff were also massively helpful - we accidentally left a mobile phone in the back of the taxi that had dropped us off; as my German is patchy (to say the least!) the reception staff were brilliant in speaking to the taxi driver and arranging his quick return to the hotel to drop the phone back. I think this is a great hotel and would fully recommend it.

Uitstekende locatie in het Belgisch kwartier, de leukste wijk van de stad. Prima bedden, prettige kitchenette (alleen eieren koken in grote soeppan ;-)), ruime kamer, schoon, nette badkamer (waterdruk erg laag, douchen onder flauw straaltje). Er was veel lawaai op straat 's nachts tot wel 5 uur, vooral van uitgaanspubliek (en ook wel verkeer). Onder ons raam, er staan banken op het plein onder de boom, een clubje jongeren met drankflessen, luide stemmen en geregeld muziek uit gettoblasters, beide nachten. We deden 2 nachten bijna geen oog dicht. We zijn daarom zondag al naar huis vertrokken in plaats van maandagochtend. De kamers aan de voorzijde zouden minder duur moeten zijn voor dit grote ongemak. De kamer was veel te warm, dus we wilden met ramen open slapen, maar vanwege de herrie was dat niet te doen. We hebben alle radiatoren uit gezet, maar dat hielp nauwelijks, er is geen airco. Er was maar 1 rol wc-papier (en een beetje dat nog op een aangebroken rol zat) voor 3 nachten voor 2 personen (vouwen). Dat is veel te weinig! De koffie is niet te drinken, we namen gelukkig onze eigen Nespresso cups mee. Het zou handig zijn als er een extra plankje onder de wastafel was voor de toilettassen. In de gangen stonden de radiatoren ook vol aan, veel te warm en zonde van de energie! De entree en het trappenhuis zien er armoedig uit, de gangen waar de kamers aan liggen zijn netjes.

PPengguna TetamuHaben am Wochenende eine Nacht hier verbracht. Das Hotel ist stylisch, im Bereich der Bar die Kölschen Gebote an der Wand, chic gemacht! Hatten - da nur eine Nacht- Zimmer der einfachen Kategorie. Klein, aber hübsch. Bett bequem. Bad ist mini, aber flauschige Handtücher, sauber, schöne Dusche. Wir hatten kein Frühstück gebucht und als wir morgens sahen, wie unendlich voll es war und dass die Gäste bis zur Rezeption irgendwelche Sitzmöbel belegten, beschlossen wir, anderweitig zu frühstücken. Ein bisschen Gemütlichkeit möchte man ja schon an einem Sonntagmorgen. Die Bar ist sehr nett, ideal für einen Ausklang. Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption sehr freundlich. Kein eigener Parkplatz, aber das Parkhaus ganz im der Nähe, auf den dortigen Preis wurden 5,00 Euro Hotelrabatt gegeben. Wir zahlten für knapp 23 Stunden dann sensationelle 10,00 Euro! Ich würde das Haus wieder buchen.

Das Hotel liegt zentral in Köln. Schon die Fahrt im Aufzug ist etwas besonderes - auf der Rückwand laufen Bilder mit, tolle Idee. Das Maisonette Zimmer im Obergeschoß mit Dachterasse war richtig fein, so konnte ich Abends noch ein wenig ungestört draußen sitzen und arbeiten oder lesen. Schön wäre ein eigener LAN Anschluß am Schreibtsich gewesen. Frühstück gibt es im separaten Restaurant im gleichen Haus. Insgesamt ein sehr schönes Haus - gerne wieder ! :-)

PPengguna TetamuWegens de hevige overstromingen van juli 2021, in Duitsland, Nederland en België waren wij niet in staat om af te reizen naar Keulen. De hostel weigerde echter enige vorm van compensatie! Zelfs na contact met de accommodatie de dag zelf en bemiddeling via booking.com weigerden ze elke vorm van tegemoetkoming (gedeeltelijke terugbetaling, omboeken, voucher,..). We hebben het volledige bedrag moeten betalen ondanks overmacht. Helemaal niet klantvriendelijk! Wij boeken hier nooit meer!!

Konkret: am 17.04.23 2Übernachtungen ( mit 2xFrühsück/30€) gebucht. Direkte Abbuchung auf der Mastercard! Buchung musste am 19.04. storniert werden. Stornierung per Mail. TEL. Ist die Rezeption ab 18:00 nicht mehr erreichbar. Mailantwort am 20.04. das ich eine Frühbucherpreis bekommen hätte und dieser nicht Erstattungsfähig wäre! Die Stornierungsbedingungen sind auf der Webseite des Hotel dezitiert nicht zu finden. Am 22.04.2023 vergeblich versucht mit der Leitung des Hotels eine Einigung zu erreichen. „ da könne man leider nix machen“ Kundenfreundlichkeit sieht so nicht aus. Mit freundlichen Grüßen M. Müller

PPengguna TetamuThere isn't really much point writing a review in terms of informing the hotel as all the faults keep being written on here but clearly the hotel has no intention of addressing them but for any future guests ....here goes!! 1. No toiletries provided. Had to ask twice and got two tiny bars of soap. Empty toiletries boxes from previous occupants just left on the sink for three days. 2.Rooms far too hot and the aircon seems non responsive. 3. Rooms really dark as the lighting is inadequate. 4. No glasses left in the room and when we asked for some they left two tiny champagne flute style ones!!! 5. Pillows like cotton wool. 6. Sink didn't have plug until we asked for one. 7. Shower just handheld over the bath with no shower curtain so bathroom floor was flooded. 8. Some write ups of the hotel imply it has leisure/gym but it doesn't as you have to go up the road. 9. Over priced and certainly not what I would call 4 star. I think that is probably enough because if after all that you still book then any more issues are unlikely to dissuade you.
