For my first trip to Cologne, my one-week stay at AMERON was delightful, so I hope I will be a returning guest soon! The hotel's location is perfect for catching different public transport means quickly and efficiently. The room was well-lighted, spacious, great for relaxing but also working, and had a pleasant modern warm aesthetic. The restaurant had delicious quality food (breakfast selection was very diverse, dinner too was always tasty), ”served” with a stylish and cozy atmosphere. The hotel's staff as well as the restaurant's staff were very friendly and had a lot of benevolent patience with my rusty German speaking skills! Communication was easy, professional, but also comfortable, in both German and English. Very happy with my choice, my heartfelt thanks to all the staff!

Great price for a hotel in this location. The room is a bit limited in size but very clean and comfortable. Being located virtually right behind the Cathedral, this hotel is a nice choice if you want to walk around the city.

Location was superb. Walking distance to train station, cathedral, shopping area… you name it. Staff were very friendly, breakfast was good. Pillow was a bit strange - just a flat square but room was comfortable. Little to no noise from the outside. Bathroom small but adequate. Was quite difficult to control water temperature but once you figure it out you’re all set. Overall a very good stay, would book a room here again

I stayed at the hotel in June 2023 for three nights on a business trip. The location of the hotel is central and it is within short walking distance from the attractions and shopping streets in the city center, and also close to the main railway station. The river and the Dom are also very close and there's a wide selection of restaurants nearby. The hotel itself is not very big, but it's clean and quite comfortable. The weather in June was quite hot, and the room was also bit too warm for perfect comfort, but I have had worse experiences too. The room I stayed in was nicely decorated and clean. Compared to my previous experiences in Cologne the room was also very spacious with a couch and a TV with a rotating stand between the couch and the bed area. However, I'm not sure if the room I got was a standard one or maybe I got an upgraded room. On Saturday night there was some noise from the street which was quite loud in the 1st floor room I had. However, for other evenings the noise level was very quiet as there is not much traffic in front of the hotel. Breakfast was quite nice considering the size of the hotel and the area, and the staff was friendly and helpful. One weird thing was that I couldn't get an iron and ironing board in my room even for a short moment (due to some safety risk they said), but instead the guy at the reception set it up for me in a small hallway on the ground floor where I had to take my clothes and iron them there. Overall I was happy with my stay, and could consider staying at this hotel again. It was a little pricey, but as the hotels in the city were pretty much full booked during my visit it was to be expected.

This hotel is in an excellent location. Easily walkable to most tourist sights. The front desk is helpful and friendly. Our upgraded room was on the 3rd floor and big enough for us to spread out. With the windows shut we were not woken by noise outside. Hotel was very clean. Breakfast was good-lots of choice. Good value for the money.

Quietly, conveniently and serenely stayed at this hotel for the past 6 days. Good to recommend this hotel as a priority choice especially for cologne travellers who preferable to stay away from bustling areas. An enjoyable back and forth daily walk from hotel to train station whereby some good restaurants are the best solutions of our hungers. Highly recommended to stay and definitely will stay again in the future. Thank you..

Had a wonderful 3-night stay at this lovely property. Located just a stone’s throw away from Köln Messe/Deutz station, which was very convenient for us who travelled directly from Frankfurt Airport. Its surrounding was peaceful and quiet. Checking-in by Clemens was a breeze. Clemens was friendly and answered all our queries with patience. He also gave us helpful information on dining options in the vicinity. Our courtyard facing Studio room was spacious and quiet, had every amenity we needed for a comfortable stay. We used the washer and dryer every night and it was definitely a great to have. USB charging ports and power points could be found on both sides of the bed and at sitting area. Internet speed was fast. Was able to screen mirroring with my device and hence we were able to enjoy watching Netflix on the big TV screen. Daily housekeeping had also done a wonderful job of keeping our room clean, replacing our used towels and replenishing the laundry detergent. There was a small indoor pool but we didn’t have the time to use it. Our room didn’t come with breakfast, but we did try it out on one morning. Found that it was a tad overpriced at €22 as the spread wasn’t big and choices were pretty limited, the only disappointment we had of this property. Overall a fantastic stay and is value for money. Would strongly recommend this property to anyone who is visiting Cologne.

Definitely one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in and the best hotel from Accor Hotels. I had accidentally booked the wrong dates for my stay. As soon as I realised it, I contacted the hotel. The staff helped me to change my reservation dates. While on my trip, due to the strikes in France and problems with the train connections I had to postpone my meeting online. I sent an email to request to check in early since I will be having my meeting at 1 p.m. Ms Wulff made the necessary arrangements prior to my arrival. On my arrival I was able to check in early and able to proceed with my online meeting. Without her help I would not be able to conduct my meeting. On the next day, I had another online meeting. Her colleague made the necessary arrangements so that the housekeeping team could get the room cleaned before lunch and my next online appointment. Till date I have stayed in a number of hotels from the Accor Hotels group. In comparison to M Gallery am Konzerthaus in Wien, Hotel Mondial am Dom in Cologne exceeds my expectations. Professionalism The staff at the reception were not only friendly and good at what they are doing, they are also willing to help and went an extra mile to make things possible. I would not have been able to get my work done if they did not help me. Even when checking out, the staff was professional and showed interest to assist customers whenever they dan. View of the Cathedral I managed to get a glimpse of the cathedral from my room. Dinner I had dinner at the hotel restaurant. It was not only affordable, the service was impeccable. The waiter even suggested where I could sit so that I can get the best view of the area. Awesome! I would like to thank the remarkable staff for making my stay in Köln memorable und unforgettable. Ich habe bei der Buchung das falsche Datum eingegeben und musste meine Buchung ändern. Die Mitarbeiterin. hat mir geholfen meine Buchung zu ändern. Wegen Streiks und Probleme mit Deutsch Bahn musste ich meine Termine verschieben. Ich habe das Hotel gefragt ob ich früher einchecken kann um mein Termin online wahr zu nehmen. Frau Wullf hat alles für mich arrangiert damit ich meinen Termin online fortsetzen kann. Am nächsten Tag habe ich auch einen Termin online. Der Kollege von Frau Wulff hat mit dem Housekeeping-Team koordiniert damit das Zimmer von 13 Uhr fertig gereinigt ist. Dadurch könnte ich meinen Termin um 14 Uhr wahrnehmen. In diesem Hotel sind die Mitarbeiter:innen nicht nur freundlich sondern auch hilfsbereit. Diese Motivation ist leider eine Seltenheit auch bei den Luxus-Marken von Accor. The location is near the station and quite good to get nearby locations. The Asian restaurant nearby is great and a few Chinese restaurant is just a few hundred meter away. The gym is good and the breakfast is decent. Sparkle water is free provided in the lobby.
