Kusnadi hotel and restaurant

I actually made 2 bookings with kusnadi, same check in date, different check out date, Deluxe Pool room and Deluxe Garden Room. With both bookings I requested ground floor room because of a knee injury. I emailed on at least 2 additional occasions trying to get clarification. I even had a friend who is a local go to the hotel and enquire which room would on ground floor. I kept the Deluxe Pool room as I was assured it was ground and cancelled Garden Room. When we checked in we were put upstairs. I enquired about ground floor and was told to come back 2mw. The next day I was told they could move us downstairs the next day however we would have to move again before checking out. We did agree to this. A few days before checking out we decided to go to Mount Batur for 2 nights. We packed our bags and told reception they could move us when the time was ready, everything was packed up and there was a plastic bag for the things out of the fridge. When we returned our bags had been moved but nothing from fridge, milk, juice, cheese, beer, Smirnoff, soft drink. When I asked they said everything was gone 🤷🏼‍♀️. I had wanted to stay at this hotel for a couple of years but the availability never lined up with my dates until this year, unfortunately I was extremely let down. When speaking to other guests they all said how friendly and helpful people were although there had been some shuffling of staff. Almost every time I asked for something I didn't get it or asked to come back later or 2mw and still not resolved in the end I just gave up, which is a shame because I still think it is a nice hotel

Rooms: We enjoyed a ground floor room close to the pool with easy access to reception. The large size bed was reasonably comfortable, and the water pressure and temperature from shower good (only negative is there is no shower curtain or glass so the whole bathroom gets wet when showering). Room was very spacious, with drawer and large cupboard with hanger storage. The room itself is well loved and could use a bit of an update but do not let that deter you from staying. It’s the traditional Balinese style! Complementary bottles of water every day. Location: This is in a great spot. Only a short walk to the beach, Legian road, many restaurants, message parlours, and everything you need in Bali. You could hear muffled music coming from Sugar Rays/ Chapter 2 at night. Breakfast: Breakfast was good, a decent selection of freshly cooked eggs and pancakes, pastry, toast, Indonesian food, hash browns, fruit, and juice. You can purchase cafe coffee behind the egg station. Pool: A large size pool, sectioned in the middle to separate the shallow and deep ends. Temperature was cool and refreshing. For the size of the hotel, there is enough seating including sun lounges, mini lounge huts, seats and cabanas are available. Overall: I would recommend to anyone coming to Legian. For the price, you really can’t go past this hotel. The staff have been friendly and welcoming, and have assisted with all our requests. I look forward to my next stay here!

What a great little hotel. Love the traditional hotels. Rooms are quite big along with the bed. Looked like the room I had was freshly renovated. Towel rails in the bathroom would have been useful and also a toilet roll holder rather than tissues sitting on the cistern would be better. The gardens are gorgeous. It’s so relaxing sitting outside enjoying the serenity. Great pool area. Breakfast is basic and mainly Asian. Would be nice to have some bacon as an option but Sugar Rays across the road does a great bacon and egg burger! Staff are super friendly as are all the Balinese people we encounter. Lovely stay here and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Terima Kasih

Great value Balinese styled hotel very traditional Great room we stayed 221 large outdoor bathroom and nice bed .great location for many eats and great bars all 5-10 jalan jalan from hotel..jalan = walk...lovely gardens and pool area very hard to beat anywhere for money we been bali 14x and stayed manyplaces but this rates very high on all apart from breakfast which is average at best but for price ok..there 2 great breakfast places less than a minutes walk from hotel anyway.location to beach 10 minwalk jl legian 10 min . So located great for most things in area

I love this place, it has a beautiful atmosphere,and the garden's are beautifully kept. Room I had was lovely this time around with it's bathroom being outside. Pool is clean but can get quite warm in the afternoons. Lots of pool seats and great food from the kusnadi restaurant who will serve you around the pool. Good location close to all your needs in legian, many bars and restaurants in the same street. Staff are lovely and rooms are well kept. I do want to keep this place a secret though,❤️

This hotel is great, rooms was spacious, shower was amazingly hot with 3 settings, taps all work, air conditioning is nice and cold, little awesome fridge, bed are made daily, my request was done perfectly, huge balcony with table and chairs over looking the pool and plenty of light in the day. Only down side no safety box for personal stuff. Would definitely recommend to travellers.
