front desk said room service for cleaning room and changing bed sheets is done once every 3 days.
they only provided a tiny sachet of shampoo and hand soap, no basic toiletries like comb, hair conditioner or even hair dryer. 2 bottles of 500ml singha water was provided. hair dryer is charged at 100 bhat a day.
location was fantastic, 2mins walk to bts that can go everywhere fast.
come 3rd day, room service was done, but to my horror, the people are not very friendly and quite hostile when we requested them to do room service.
room was hot throughout despite aircon being switched on at 16 degrees celsius, on 4th night, the DB box in rook suddenly tripped at 1am bkk time, no front desk people on standby, had to call them on their mobile phone thrice before being able to get someone.
and the lady who is the front desk was sleeping, asked us to help ourselves as she is a woman, she also cannot make the electricity come back and there is nothing she can do.
after some back and forth calls, she came to our room, see it for herself, and finally agreed to change us to another room, which is a downgraded version, much smaller room with no windows, newer aircon unit but it's not cooling at all even at night. bkk heat is unbearable in april 2024.
towards the end of my 6th night stay, 5th and 6th day, only 1 bottle of singha mineral water was provided, the hostile front desk even told us, tissue paper for the hotel finished, so no tissue for us.
very bad and horrifying experience with each night's stay getting from worse to worst.
would never stay there again, worst hotel room in bkk ever encountered for my past 36 years frequenting bkk. never encountered such lousy room conditions and bad attitude.
