This is a really comfortable aparthotel / serviced apartment, and I highly recommend it. It is kept very clean (though not spotless - there were some water stains on the main dining table) despite its size. For the price paid and the central location I was very surprised how large the room was. It came equipped with a small kitchen, plates, cutlery, regular sized fridge, washer cut dryer (which I used and it worked excellent), a nice comfy 4-seater sofa, a large queen bed, a latge bathroom, and tonnes of storage space. There was also a communal sauna and pool at the eighth storey, and a 7-11 convenience store right at level 1. You could live very comfortably here.
The property is also about a 3-5 minute walk from Central Rama 9, a huge mall with a supermarket, cinema, and lots of dining to choose from. Opposite the property is Fortune Plaza which also has lots of dining options (slightly more economical options), and yet another supermarket, and also lots of IT shops. It is however, a 8 to 10 minute walk to the nearest MRT stations (either Phra Ram 9 Station or Thailand Cultural Centre station). This didn't bother me at all.
Housekeeping was very friendly, as is the front desk staff. You can tell they are well trained and take their job seriously. I am very impressed and will return.

First time staying in Somerset Rama 9 as per my friend’s recommendation. The amenities in the executive room is perfect! It has everything I need. The breakfast can be improved though. The noodle section, pastries section and cooking egg section is good but the cooked food is not that interesting. My 2.5 years old love the children play room. Overall I and my family had a great stay here.

Stayed the two bedroom hotel and the room seems quite old, the bath robe is a bit dirty with stains. There were a lot of guests when we were staying so a bit crowded. But room was spacious with kitchen and sofa.

Our six nights stay in Somerset Rama9 has been perfectly pleasant. The rooms are clean and well equipped. We specially chose to stay in the room with washing machine which provided us much convenience especially because of the hot weather in Bangkok. The hotel is having a big shopping mall nearby. We can walk there within 5 minutes and the Jodd Fair night market within 10 minutes. The hotel staff are very helpful and well polite. We already planned to stay there again in our next visit to Bangkok.

We had a wonderful stay. The location is very convenient 5 mins walk to the shopping mall Central Rama and another 5 mins walk to Jodd Fairs Night Market. The hotel has arranged a birthday for my husband.
