I recently had the opportunity to stay at Pullman Bangkok King Power, and I regret to say that my experience was far from satisfactory. I feel compelled to share my concerns and disappointments regarding several aspects of my stay.
First and foremost, there was a significant safety issue during my time at the hotel. In the middle of the night at around 4 am, a lady in distress let out a terrifying scream that echoed through the corridors. It sounded as though someone was in immediate danger or facing a life-threatening situation. Naturally, my travel companions and I were extremely concerned for the well-being of our fellow guests. We immediately contacted the hotel staff, hoping for some reassurance or guidance in handling the situation. Unfortunately, to our dismay, the hotel did not provide any constructive feedback or assistance. This lack of responsiveness and concern regarding a potentially dangerous incident was deeply unsettling.
Adding to our disappointment, the hotel management displayed an unsatisfactory approach when it came to addressing our concerns. We requested a refund for the remaining 2 nights, considering the safety issue and our subsequent inability to rest. Shockingly, the hotel refused to provide a refund, citing that the booking was made through a travel agency. As a service provider, one would expect the hotel to prioritize the well-being and comfort of their guests in such circumstances. However, their refusal to offer any compensation or even acknowledge the distress we endured was disheartening, to say the least.
Furthermore, the inconsistency between the room we had booked through the travel agency app and the room we were given upon arrival was another frustrating aspect of our stay. The room we received differed significantly from the one we had selected, both in terms of amenities and price. There was a discrepancy of HK$200, which left us feeling misled and dissatisfied with the overall value for money.
In conclusion, my experience at Pullman Bangkok King Power was marred by multiple issues, primarily revolving around safety concerns and the hotel's lack of responsiveness and customer support. The distressing incident during the night, coupled with the hotel's refusal to address the matter or provide any form of compensation, left me profoundly disappointed. I cannot recommend Pullman Bangkok King Power based on my experience, and I hope that the management takes these concerns seriously to avoid similar disappointments for future guests.
