Very aestheic common area, large spaces and extra chairs in the room, clean bedding and toilet, people are friendly, really enjoyed the free water and coffee! Unfortunately when checking in, I wasn’t told anything about how to use the locker in my room nor information on the breakfast. Plus it’s a 20-min walk to the nearest train station Berchem, and even more far away to Antwerp centraal station. But overall, great value of money!

The location was excellent — very convenient and close to everything we needed. However, our stay was affected by a few issues. The soundproofing of the room was poor; we were woken up around 6 a.m. by the clattering of dishes and cleaning noises from outside. It was difficult to rest properly. Additionally, there were a lot of fruit flies in the room, constantly flying around, which was very bothersome and affected the quality of our stay. I hope the hotel can improve on these issues — otherwise, it’s a real pity given the great location.

In terms of value for money, my partner and I confidently give it a solid 5*. Book with breakfast included — it will save you a significant amount of money. There are a few minor points to be aware of: The city itself is very expensive. The lift and electricity in the room only work when the key card is inserted. At breakfast, you can make Belgian waffles yourself, although using an American-style waffle iron. There are some visible signs of wear and tear, and our shower leaked slightly onto the tiles. Everything else about the hotel was excellent. The morning coffee is very good.

Very convenient, close to train central station, bathroom little bit outdated,breakfast overall in average, staff are very friendly with smile, will come back again.

We stayed at Leonardo Plaza Antwerp on 23 April 2026 and booked a room for three people, with our daughter sleeping on the sofa bed. At check-in around 4 PM, reception already mentioned the sofa bed might not be prepared and asked us to let them know if bedding was missing so they could arrange it. When we arrived in room 72, there was indeed no bedding or towels for a third person. We reported this at reception around 5 PM and were assured it would be taken care of. After attending a concert, we returned to the hotel at 11:45 PM, only to find nothing had been arranged. Bedding still had to be brought to the room, which took another 30 minutes. Because our daughter was exhausted, she had already fallen asleep in the double bed, so one of the adults ended up sleeping on the sofa bed once it was made up. Unfortunately, the sofa bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable. It felt like it needed a mattress topper. That was disappointing, especially since the issue was known and reported well in advance. That said, the room itself was otherwise very good and comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. Unfortunately, the missing bedding and uncomfortable sofa bed were a real letdown and affected our overall experience.

Super leuk en hip  Hotel in een van de mooiste gezelligste wijken van Antwerpen -Zuid gelegen bij een prachtig park, parkeergarages en faciliteiten.  Met de tram voor de deur rijdt je binnen 10 minuten het centrum in. Het hotel is hip en jong. Inchecken aan de bar waar je gelijk een lekkere welkoms cocktail krijgt. De hotel lounge is een hippe bar met lekkere muziek of DJ en en  een goede  kaart voor wat te happen, dineren en drinken. De hotelkamers zijn niet heel groot maar, modern, strak en functioneel voor een weekend in Antwerpen. De bedden liggen lekker stevig en de kamers zijn goed geïsoleerd. Zeker keer doen.

The reason of booking this hotel was because of the modern and cool room design and its swimming pool.  However, the stay was bad. We stayed for three day, and didn't required for the cleaning service until day 3 morning.  And the unexpected sittuation happened. We had missing items on my cosmetic and massage products and tools.  We did contact the hotel for the investigation, but they did not do any investigation and only said I will be upgraded with breakfast for the next day.  The swimming pool needs to be booked before going, but actually no one managed and controlled the number of people using the pool.  It starts to get crowned for more than 12 people. The towels were on every sun bed, even no one was using them.  The check-in was not smooth and fast. It took an hour to access the room. I was charged the city tax two times, one prepaid online, another time on arrival.  Then the front desk requested me to send a formal email to enquire the hotel about the over charged of city tax, then the fee was waived at once in 15 minutes later. The room key did not work with the first room then I was given a new room key for another room 15 minutes later There were no chair / stool for the customers at the check-in desk, and the check-in process was so long and tiring.  I was not happy with my stay.

This hotel is a perfect choice for travelers visiting Antwerp! The rooms are spotless, the location is incredibly convenient—just steps from the train station—and the thoughtful touch of free apples at the entrance adds to the experience. I would definitely recommend staying here for comfort and ease!

As a long-time hostel user from the 1970s, I was pleasantly surprised at this hostel/hotel. It was a quite a long way from the 70s! Mostly due to the fact that they had twin-for-single-use rooms with a nice toilet/shower and included towels, though I'd brought my own thinking they wouldn't be. The beds (two singles pushed together) were relatively comfortable, and the duvets were warm enough considering there was no heat as it was ”between seasons”. Shower was small but hot and powerful enough. Location was of course excellent, being directly outside the main centraal station, and a couple steps from a large supermarket (and nearly directly on the main shopping area with every shop/food/etc you could ever want or need. Check-in was super easy and the receptionist was extremely nice, warm and welcoming. Though I didn't partake of breakfast as I felt it was pretty expensive for being a hostel (the name being synonymous with ”inexpensive/cheap”), I did see a very crowded breakfast room in the morning when I went down for hot water for my portable Aeropress. Thankfully they had no issue with giving me hot water that was saving me the 3 euro for a tiny coffee :-) Price-to-value ratio -- I'm not quite sure about this, as the twin-for-single-use was really only about 5-10 euro less expensive than quite a few full-service hotels in the same centraal station area. As I wasn't in a ”dormitory with multiple beds”, I can't speak to the comfort or quiet of those rooms. Rooms on the 8th floor were not exactly ”quiet” as doors had a tendency to slam shut, but whether that's just a design flaw or simply people not really caring, I don't know (including blasting television and music...c'mon! Have a bit of consideration, you're not alone in the hostel/hotel.). Would I recommend it over others just a few meters away? I might have a tough time doing that. But I spent a relatively pleasant night overall.

Een prettig verblijf in het Tulip Inn hotel in Anwterpen voor een weekend daarna in Almere voor de Dutch Open 2026 op 23 en 24 mei 2026, Baton Twirling! Het ontbijt en het personeel waren geweldig. De gootsteen in de kamer zat helaas verstopt. Hartelijk dank aan het vriendelijke personeel! 😊
