Absolutely no complaints about this hotel. Can't ask for better location on Las Ramblas. I requested an early check in since we were arriving early. (8 a.m.) The reception checked our luggage, gave us a map and directions to the Hop On/Hop Off bus and told us they would call when our room was ready. They gave us a call very close to noon. The hotel has a nice coffee shop with small bites in the lobby. Nice choices and wonderful coffee. The lobby is attractive with neutral colored decor. Doormen very helpful. Friday the lobby was very full all day. The hotel is popular with the cruise people leaving on Saturday cruises. Our room was large, clean, and adequately furnished although the decor is minimalist. Toilet and bathroom good size and water jets in shower powerful! Very nice in-room coffee selection. Comfortable beds and bedding. Hotel has popular restaurant judging from its occupancy. We had desserts and coffee there but no meal. The restaurant faces Las Ramblas, the entrance to the hotel is on a side street off Las Ramblas. The hotel is within walking distance of marinas and waterfront, and is also located just a few blocks from the famous La Boqueria Market.

Location is great in Gothic Quarter, and staff are very nice. But the rooms are very very small! And peculiarly designed. Even small for one person. Toilet separate area of room from sink basin and shower. No where to sit except on bed. Very clean, good TV but uncomfortable room. Breakfast excellent, restaurant very good for dinner, rooftop bar small but attractive with good tapas. Hotel arranges transport as most taxis couldn’t find the hotel on a very narrow windy street!

My wife and I went for a very short trip to Barcelona and chose this hotel at random . What a great choice and a good bit of luck! Firstly it's location was perfect for us - right on Las Ramblas. Very central. We took the Aerobus from the airport which stopped at Plaça de Catalunya a short distance away from Las Ramblas and obviously our hotel We were welcomed by friendly staff and given a welcome drink. Our room was comfortable and clean and had free drinks in the mini bar; free coffee nespresso machine, a big bed and lots of pillows! There was a very good breakfast choice and you were made to feel like royalty by Max the breakfast waiter - who was always cheerful. The desk staff were very helpful with tips about local food, travelling , booking tickets... Fully a five star service. We will definitely go again to Barcelona and hopefully be able to stay again at this lovely diamond of a hotel.

It was a very disappointing experience. The hotel service is not even one star and it feels that’s it is not respecting customers at all. Reply was super slow, manager don’t care about the customer even there is a feedback and complain. Most surprising is that there are bugs in the hotel room. Visited here with my partner Checking in was quick and easy Originally we got a room without a bath, but wanted a bath so went to reception and paid for upgrade. Room came with tea/coffee making facilities and complimentary chocolates. Shower and was great Bed and pillows were comfortable Fantastic location ! Where do I start we simply loved everything about our stay at the edition. We stayed here April 18th - 21st and the staff specifically the concierge, night bell man on the 18th and front desk were beyond helpful and accommodating. I unfortunately lost the card with their names but those three guys helped my mom and I tremendously - from recommendations, transportations and other tidbits which made our stay very special. Lou Lou on the rooftop was exceptional and actually would remember our morning order which added that extra touch of personalization and guest service. Lisa I believe was her name at the rooftop bar (evening) was also fabulous. The Edition hotel is one of my favorite luxury boutique hotels and the Barcelona one didn’t disappoint - the rooms were gorgeous, clean and well appointed. The rooftop had breath taking views and the bar on the 1st floor was great for a nightcap. On top of the service, great rooms the hotel was in an exceptional location which made exploring super easy! We spent three days here and then moved to the W and it was nowhere near the level of luxury service - quite frankly we regretted having not stayed at the Edition for our entire stay!

Firstly, please let me thank you staff behind within the reception team as the staff I came across were a credit to your hotel. I had a booking with you for 7 nights from the 10th to 17th September stayed in room 701. Arrived on the Saturday evening at about 21.15hrs checked in, The gentleman behind reception who checked us in was great first thing he said was Mr & Mrs Barrett many congratulations to you both on celebrating your wedding anniversary, that along with the check in went really well and this made us feel special. Up to room Wow !! factor was really impressed however it was like a sauna No problems we can sort it tried to play around with the settings and struggled getting temp down, plus a few sockets in the room was not working. No letter wishing us congratulations Once we unpacked, we decided to have a look around and get our bearings. popped back to reception and mentioned about the Sockets next to bed not working in room and the temperature. the same gentleman said it's not a problem he can sort out the room temperature but sockets will have to wait till the morning, ok great thank you, can we please book the spa for Sunday around 5pm if its free, yes, he said no problems its book for us. that was it. Saturday night in the room was still very hot but we managed and by the morning it was nice and cool. Sunday afternoon there was someone different on so went to collect the key for the spa and towels off we went really excited as this was our anniversary day. Nothing in the spa was working apart from the pool with bubbles, the Steam room and Sauna was not on, went up to Reception asked the team they said it should be but I assured them nothing was on. we were asked to wait around 15 to 20 minutes which will give things time to warm up but we lost the experience by then. Once finished handed key back to Reception and asked if we could book a table in the restaurant tonight we were told this is closed and the bar is closed as well. But on the web site it says open !! so our plans were going side ways instead. I also mentioned again about sockets and was told we will be on it fiorst thing monday. Went up to room and ran the bath as going to have a jacuzzi, this didn't work reported this to the same person in reception, so we got dressed and went out for dinner. Monday going out said to the team we are out now so feel free to fix the sockets and Jacuzzi and will be back later on during the day. We got back quite late and visited a few sites within your city loads of photos, so by the time we got back didn't check nothing as we were really tired. Tuesday morning completely forgot to check to see if things were working as we had a very early start and a long day. came back late evening time and once again completely tired. Wednesday, I tried the sockets again and still not working so on my way out I mentioned to the team about these and i assumed the Jacuzzi would be the same. They were shocked and thought thes

Perfect location, the Aerobus from the airport terminates at Placa de Catalunya which is 100m from the hotel. Hotel is on La Rambla which runs from the heart of the city to the sea. Breakfast is good at €10 and the staff were very friendly and helpful. They have a secure luggage room if you arrive earlier than check in time or if you want to leave your luggage there after you have checked out. We had a room overlooking La Rambla and it wasn't too noisy. Great find, we highly recommend.

Stayed for three nights on a business trip. Location is excellent, can’t get any better - on Las Ramblas less then one minute to place de Catalunya, less then five minutes to La Bukeria market and the old quartet. A Beautiful small well designed and tastefully decorated hotel, everyone was extremely nice and helpful at the front desk, gave a very welcoming feeling upon arrival and during the whole stay - Thank you!! The basic room is a bit small maybe ok for one person. Although a bit pricy, If possible take the second or even third room class for extra space. Shower was spotless, hot water and good pressure. Double glazed doors to enjoy the picturesque Las Ramblas boulevard without the extra noise of the city. Fresh bottled water refilled every day and the black tea-cattle set was sleek and elegant. Plenty of restaurants and eateries around, ice cream stalls and more open until late at night. Great hotel, highly recommended!

The superior double was tiny, so would hate to have not paid extra for an upgrade. The room had no basic amenities and things like a hairdryer, bin, iron and board. No Aircon. Noisy from streets outside. Location is great and easy to get to things was the only worthwhile trade off.

2 stars budget hotel with even lesser amenities than the minimum expected, like a decent size bed for a couple or noise-proof walls and windows; even for the not-so-low price. Walls are paper thin and you can hear your neighbours talking, laughing, baby crying, etc! You are getting almost nothing else than a centric location to walk-by to almost every point of interest in Barcelona and nearby restaurants, stores and supermarkets. However, if you are looking for a little extra comfort and some good nights of sleep, this might not be a right choice for you and/or your family. The only elevator is tiny and claustrophobic and was out of service a couple of times during our instance here. Cleaning personnel is nice and gentle, but receptionists are not as pleasant nor attentive as expected. Anyways, if you still choose to book a room here, make sure to bring earplugs and your own shampoo/conditioner, at a bear minimum.
