Having just moved to Barcelona we were looking for somewhere cheap to stay to keep our costs low. We found this hostel on Hostelworld but booked through the hostel website as it was cheaper and breakfast was included! Breakfast was the perfect continental spread (croissants, bread, cereal, cheese, eggs etc). We stayed in a 12 bed female dorm with an en suit which suited our needs perfectly. The cage system under the beds is a great way of keeping the room tidy - bring a lock for the cage! And speaking of locks, the hostel is very central and as a result has lots of safety measures in place. With our room card we can only access the ground floor, the self catering kitchen and our own floor. the safety measures in place are brilliant. The food in the bar is delicious and guests at the hostel get a discount so it's great value too! We played a few rounds of pool with the staff (special shout out to Liam and Kelly), we had a great time. The bar has many screens for showing all kinds of sports which draws in a good crowd any night of the week. The staff overall are extremely friendly and helpful at any time of the day or night. The housekeeping staff are at the top of their game, the place is spotless and extremely well kept. We highly highly recommend this hostel when visiting Barcelona.

Checking in was good and we thought we were in for a great stay. After that it was sadly downhill all the way. Rooms ok but basic, and upgrading to a Suite is definitely not worth the extra money. Take earplugs as the noise from the roads, restaurants, bin emptying etc is constant. The bar was not opened for our whole stay, and the staff were very dismissive when we questioned why it was not available. One receptionist just shrugged his shoulders and looked back down to his paperwork. After check in they barely acknowledged us as we came and went. No air conditioning in the rooms so we had to leave windows wide open at night - cannot imagine what it would be like in summer. No tea and coffee making facility in the room. No outside space to use unless you go down the road to the sister hotel. Basically confined to your room, and you had to go out to find all your food and drink as there was no Room Service on offer either.

The location was excellent and I felt very safe when out for a run in the early morning. The staff were friendly and helpful. We took advantage of the hotel breakfast and it was perfectly acceptable -- nothing spectacular but no problems either. The shower in particular was a problem in that it drained poorly, was very slippery when wet (see: drained poorly), and caused a lot of flooding on the floor of the main bathroom, which increased the slippery danger. The beds were comfortable and I appreciated the staff leaving an extra pillow in the armoire if we wanted it.

Good location, would have liked a nicer part of town but it worked. One downside, we booked a double room and they gave us two singles and said they push them together. When sleeping as a couple, one person is bound to fall through the crack.

The location is brilliant and is only a short ride from the airport and very close to the Metro station Fira. There is easy access both to the metro and the bus. There is a shopping mall with number of eateries and the cinema within walking distance. The room is average. The main thing if you are staying with family ...there is no door for the bathroom and you have to isolate the entrance from the room to get privacy there. The toilet area though luckily has a door. It is difficult when you have booked as a family with grown up kids. The connections and the TV are ancient and there are no USB connections. The channels available are all in Catalan/Spanish...the TV doesnt even have a HDMI or ability to connect to your phone...so pretty much useless unless you speak Spanish....not something you are expecting of a Hotel that caters to tourists and to conferences! The reception was very helpful and the lifts etc work. The restaurant staff are also very nice and helpful. The breakfast is buffet and was wonderful.

I am a solo female traveler, came to stay in this hostel for 4 nights. This was my first experience staying in a hostel and it went definitely amazing thanks to Factory Hostel and it’s amazing stuff. Everyone working here is so friendly, they always smile and help you in the best possible way (Special thanks to Maria Laura). All receptionists are fluent in Spanish and English. They all have been truly lovely. They do cleaning everyday, they serve delicious cake and coffee around 2 EUR. People that stay here is also nice and friendly, you can have good friendships if you would like to. Beds and pillows are pretty comfortable, curtains give you a little privacy which is nice, they give you considerably big cabinet to lock your belongings, air conditioning working 7/24, they have a cute kitchen and lounge areas to enjoy the stay. It is very close to Park Güell, a little far from beach and center but there is always public transportation that you can use, takes about 30-45 mins to go wherever you want (including walking to stops). I would %100 recommend and if I ever come back to Barcelona would definitely stay here again!

I visited as part of a hen party and we stayed for 3 nights. We were spread around the hotel which was not an issue. Rooms were a mix of two bed and three bed. Rooms were good sized with comfortable beds. Location was good and we were able to get to our choice of venues easily by either booking a taxi or flagging one down. We were a bit disappointed that reception staff were unable to help with booking taxis but it was easy enough to do ourselves. One negative was that there was a bag of rubbish in my room when I arrived. It was obviously from the emptying of the bins and the cleaner had forgotten to take it out but it contained food and was on the sofa so not good to be met with. I did not eat in this hotel. There are eating places and shops nearby and vending machines in the foyer for that late night snack. I would stay in this hotel again.

Este hotel está ubicado a tres cuadras de la estación de metro que en 20 minutos te deja en el centro. El señor que se encontraba en recepción a la noche nos indicó cómo ir sin necesidad de sacar el auto del estacionamiento, ya que es un incordio conseguir lugar para estacionar y los valores son altos. El hotel posee parking a la vuelta con un costo de 10€ diarios. Las habitaciones son pequeñas, cómodas, tanto el colchón como las almohadas. Disponen de caja de seguridad. Las instalaciones se ven limpias. Las personas de recepción son correctos. El único inconveniente que tuvimos es que pedimos si nos guardaban unas bebidas en la heladera del hotel porque la habitación no dispone de frigobar y nos dijeron que no lo tienen permitido. Solo medicamentos

Experiencia lamentable. Llegamos a las 18:00h, se había ido la luz. Nos querían dejar esperando en la calle. No nos daban habitación, estuvimos esperando casi 3 horas. Las chicas de recepción muy antipáticas, de muy malas formas y haciendo gestos de desprecio en todo momento, nos trataron fatal y a los huéspedes que estaban esperando también. Habiendo realizado el pago online, nos querían volver a cobrar el importe. Incluimos el desayuno y es horrible. Café pésimo, poca variedad y la leche cortada. Habitaciones mal reformadas, el plato de ducha se hundía y la televisión con rayas negras y bloqueado el temporizador automático. Mal comunicado, no llegan los taxis de la zona. 0 recomiendable.

Hotel room wise, apart from the room is small for the price you pay, the toilet is extremely small… yet the room comes with an unnecessary long corridor walkway. We had problem finding space to put our luggages.
For probably one of the cheapest and most decent room for its location, am overall satisfied with the hotel.

PPengguna TetamuOur stay in Hesperia Hotel Presidente was pure magic. The people of this accommodation are amongst the kindest we have ever met and their hospitality is unique. Despite the beautiful interiors and warm, welcoming atmosphere, this hotel is located in one the best areas of Barcelona and is in walking distance almost to everywhere. The glass windows offer one of the best views of Barcelona and the view from every room makes you fall in love with the city from the start. The balance between modern amenities and luscious colors of the interior architecture leaves you speechless. And of course, the restaurant and the bar are exactly what you’re looking for, a mix of luxury and intimacy so the moment you walk in you feel like home. I can’t wait to visit again in the future and meet the wonderful people who made our stay unforgettable along with this dreamy accommodation.

The location is a 15-minute walk from the Avenue of Thanksgiving and a 15-20 minute walk from Casa Batllo and Casa Mira. There is a relatively large convenience store next to the door, and there are many coffee shops nearby about 5 minutes' walk, and you can go to breakfast in the morning.

PPengguna TetamuUN INCUBO, DAREI 0 STELLE SE POTESSI: prenoto questo albergo ad un prezzo molto costoso, nonostante sia fuori dal centro di Barcellona, perché veniva mostrata più volte la presenza della spa che un cliente qualsiasi possa ritenere già incluso nel costo totale, invece fanno pagare la spa ben 20€ anche ai clienti, con orari scomodissimi e per un accesso limitato di solo 1 ora e mezza, pura follia. Si vantano di una piscina che fa schifo, piccolissima e sporca, senza nessuna vista sulla città come dichiarato, schifo totale. Nella stanza manca qualsiasi kit di benvenuto, un albergo a 4 stelle che dà solo una saponetta per le mani. La pulizia non pervenuta, è stato sistemato solo il letto senza cambiare asciugamani o pulire per terra. Avevamo la colazione inclusa ma appena siamo arrivati la prima cosa che hanno detto è stata “non avete la colazione”, provano ad imbrogliare il cliente con i loro prezzi folli. Struttura nel complesso vecchia e scadente, non so come facciano ad avere 4 stelle, costa tantissimo e vale meno di un hotel ad 1 stella. SCONSIGLIO ASSOLUTAMENTE QUESTO ALBERGO, CERCATE ALTRO, EVITATE!

The company I work for has also sent quite a few others to this hotel over the years. After this last visit I can say that it will probably not be the case anymore. To be honest, I felt like I was annoying the staff at the reception, it was always with a quick, condescending way that I was given answers. Like I was getting on their nerves. I paid almost 1.100 Euro to stay 1 week. In that time, the phone was broke, my door would not shut properly without slamming it, the room STANK !!! of sewage (I was told because of the pool filter or something and I was directly next to the pool basically in room 721 - the cleaning lady spoke no english so that's the info I understood), the breakfast was not to great standards; never was there bacon, the boiled eggs cold. The coffee machine broke, so the waitress was so angry that she was slamming chairs and saying angry stuff in spanish loudly about how management never takes care of the machine; she dropped all kinds of glasses and plates in the kitchen; then the cook came out and looked at me and rolled his eyes and shrugged (how do people in service actually work like this???) . It was unrelaxing and not worth the price at all. The only helpful and sincere person I met there was the girl at the reception who always asked how my day was, and also the room cleaning lady (the elder one with glasses). I was not even offered ANYTHING in response to having to sleep in a stinking room with no phone. I thought maybe someone would say to me ”sorry about all the inconvenience, have a wine on us” but not even that!! Only the next day I was asked if I wanted to move (I declined only because I was traveling to Valencia for 3 days on that day and I was told that afterwards it would be fixed so I didn't want to move if it would be fixed. But when I came back, only the phone was fixed - the smell was still there and the door I still had to slam). Also, my credit card was charged for a night on the first day of my stay, even tho my company pre-paid the whole stay in advance and it was confirmed. I had to wait several days before it was booked back to my account. At the checkout I was not asked once how my stay was. I would have otherwise told the guy there directly. But maybe he knew I would say something and chose not to ask anything. He was the most condescending of them all anyway. He never freely said Hello or Good bye. Only interested in himself. Horrible person and not sure how he can work in service! When he reads this he will know who I am, for sure. I did not have a welcoming or pleasant stay there this time and next time I and my company will choose another hotel for this or any other stays. If you feel too secure and think you have enough guests, then think again. Covid isn't gone and one day you will be surprised how quickly guests can leave and go somewhere else. SSarah Dee2Saya mempunyai perasaan bercampur-campur tentang pengalaman saya. Hotel ini adalah hotel yang bagus. Lokasinya menakjubkan. Ia bersih, bilik luas dan kakitangannya sangat profesional, menyenangkan dan boleh diservis. Malangnya hotel dan bilik kami mempunyai bau yang sangat hamis - hampir seperti permaidani basah atau tuala basah yang kami tidak suka. Pengemasan adalah sangat perlahan, saya tidak pasti sama ada terdapat hanya seorang tukang cuci tetapi pada asasnya kami boleh pergi berjam-jam dan kembali dan masih mendapati bilik kami belum dibersihkan lagi. Selain itu, kami tidak menyukai makanan...pilihan terhad dan ia adalah perkara yang sama setiap hari...dan bukan semuanya sedap untuk dimakan. Kami telah membayar untuk half board jadi kami tidak mahu wang kami sia-sia tetapi jika tidak saya tidak akan makan di hotel.

PPengguna Tanpa NamaStayed for only for one night but the friendly and accommodating staffs made it worthwhile. The room is a getting old and the LED TV is quite small but the bed is very comfortable. Breakfast selection is good. The location is also good. There is a shopping centre opposite the hotel. Overall I will stay again in this hotel.

PPengguna TetamuStayed here at the end of August for 5 nights. Hotel is in a brilliant location. 10 minute walk to Sagrada Familia also a 2 minute walk from the hop on hop off buses around the city. The staff on reception were very friendly and welcoming and very helpful. I left my Apple Watch in the hotel and only realised when I had got through security at the airport. I rang the hotel and they found my watch in the room and helped me return it to myself which I am very grateful for. The room was cleaned every day while we were out. For the cost of the hotel, the location, cleanliness and hospitality was top notch. If I ever visit Barcelona again I would be sure to stop here any time.

KKathia ZunigaEl hostal está ubicado en una zona estupenda, todo céntrico, lo malo es la habitación muy pequeña sin ventana que de a las vista y la ventilación muy mala no sabíamos si era de día o de noche, excepto por el reloj claro, y si nos gustaría volver pero esta vez que nos den una habitación adecuada, otra pega es la mujer de la limpieza morena, no para de dar portazos. Pero en general la estancia fue muy buena
