We only wanted a bed for the night, so I booked the budget cabin for our family of 4. It was small but very clean, and it appeared to have been recently renovated. The queen bed was sooo comfy and I had the best night sleep. The kids had a ball in the splash park, and we loved the themed cabins and proximity to the beach. Whilst it is a little drive from anywhere to grab a bite to eat, we didn’t mind at all (Ulladulla was about a 5-10 minute drive). It was nice and quiet where the park is situated, and is quite peaceful despite being on the highway. Big thumbs up to the customer service team too, could not fault anybody we dealt with :)

A fresh lick of paint and some nice touches in the room doesn't hide the fact that this is a very basic motel from a bygone era. Yes, it has a pool (albeit very very small) and is close to town but you are not getting anywhere close to $300 per night of value. That is what most would call price gouging at its best and taking advantage of the limited choices over the New Year period of holiday. Wouldn't rerun at that price and would have to think there are better options that would probably come in at a better price level. Charging guests 8$ to use the washing machine also a money grab. Avoid the room we had which was adjacent to the top of the stairs. Passing foot traffic at 5.30 am made for an early wake up call.

We booked the upstairs queen room for 5 nights. Check in was quick and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean and we had a separate bedroom with a comfortable bed. There is a balcony area with harbour views. There is a sink and fridge and a microwave in the room and a small table. There is a tv in the bedroom as well as the sitting area. We used the bbq for breakfast every day for our stay. Parking is right outside the unit. The motel is very close to the shops , only a 2 minute walk. The place is old but everything works. We enjoyed our stay here and would stay again-everything works.
