Ulasan Watertown Hotel

I like the hotel. The room is spacious and I enjoy the balcony view where I enjoy the view of Gubei Watertown. It’s convenient access to scenic area as it’s a short walk to shuttle bus waiting area.

The room is clean but the balcony was a bit dirty maybe cleaner don’t clean the room’s balcony regularly and expect to see some bugs stuck on the window, bring bug repellent with you just in case. Overall the stay was pleasant , hotel breakfast spread was good too. View heading to the hotel lobby attached for reference.

Big rooms..located right on the middle of watertown. Very convenient. Amenities are less in order to be sustainable. Toothbrush set will be given at the front desk. Big hotel. But not crowded. Service staff are helpful. Even help us with the QR code issue from the wechat app for luggage collections.

Value for money

So far so good.

We had a very good stay at Watertown, apart from the first receptionist who was very rude. Other than that the hotel was very well located and we had a beautiful view of the Great Wall.

Good location near the entrance of Gubei Water Town. Bought the hotel package with breakfast and complimentary tickets to hot spring and ticket entrance to Gubei town. Beautiful room with good choices of breakfast. Swimming pool looks good but the ladies shower head and sprinkler needs to be repaired and have shower curtain for more privacy. There should be an attendant in locker room to assist in sauna, jacuzzi and heater room. There is only one hair dryer. In addition there is no lifeguard nor anyone to tell that the swimming tube needs to pay rmb 20 each (I can't read Chinese) even though a man that appeared suddenly from nowhere at swimming pool told me much later about it. Overall, it's a good experience.

It's located right at the entrance of the gubei Watertown. Hotel room is clean and spacious. Great location. If the hot spring is located within the hotel, that will be awesome. But, there's shuttle services to the hot spring 10 mins away. Overall, great stay;)

The hotel is in the best location fir essy access. The taxi or bus can drop you directly at the hotel as its just at the entrance to the watertown. My stay at the hitel included entrance tickets to waterfront. Its a very pretty place for walking around the watertown abd so many interesting activities . I hated this hotel because the air conditioning was the worst I’ve experienced in my whole life. I was in Beijing during summer and to pay an expensive price for a room that did not have proper air conditioning was torture. The reason it was so hot is because the hotel is intentionally centrally controlling Aircon and refusing to lower the temperature to save cost. When I complained about the heat, they only gave me a fan. In addition, the breakfast is horrible. Everything tasted disgusting because the food is not fresh. Also the staff, don’t speak any English. They don’t even understand the word “Check In”. Avoid this hotel.

It’s a really nice hotel right next to the little town. The room is decently clean but the bathroom has mold on the floor. The front desk were just polite but not very warm. No pleasant smiles but just going through the motion of checking is in. Did not offer a lot of suggestions on where to eat when asked.

Posh hotel with impeccable service, very nice breakfast buffet spread and amenities, located just outside the watertown

First time staying in this hotel. The hotel is clean, quiet and well service! Fully recommended for all other guests who want to visit the Gu Bei Water Town.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Waterfront. Location was right at the Gubei scenic location. Room is luxurious and clean. Room booking also entitles us to a free onsen which we thoroughly enjoyed. Appreciated the free town shuttle as well. Highly recommended:)
