I had intended to give this hotel a 5-star rating, until I was disturbed by an amusing incident. After checking out of the hotel and experiencing no issues, the next day I received numerous emails regarding the hotel's complaint that my friend's room had extensive wall drawings causing damage and impacting room sales. They requested that I contact the hotel directly to resolve the matter. Subsequently, a Trip.com customer service representative called me, and it sounded like the hotel was demanding compensation from me?!
The issue is that my friend did not draw or do anything to the hotel room. The wall drawings were already there, seemingly made by children, possibly from previous guests, and went unnoticed. Until we stayed and were unfairly blamed! To resolve the matter, my friend had to communicate via WeChat with the hotel and received confirmation that it wasn't our doing. As for me, I called the hotel but couldn't reach the manager, and despite waiting for a callback, no one contacted me.
I am very disappointed with the hotel's handling of the situation. Instead of thorough investigation, they blamed us, and I was truly bothered and stressed even after leaving the hotel. As of now, I still haven't received an apology.
