Ulasan Mac Puerto Marina Benalmádena

First time at this hotel. We normally stay around the windmills area but it was a nice change to stay at the marina + Room was spacious and clean, bed comfortable, bathroom spotless, complementary drinks in fridge, tea and coffee supplied daily. - shower gel was not topped up. Air con was really noisy and we could not sleep for the noise so room was very hot. No sun on the balcony at all which was disappointing. Dining Room was well organised and kept clean. Dinner in the evening was very varied with a good choice of hot and cold dishes served buffet style. - Although the plates were hot, some of the food was luke warm. Breakfast was not so appealing with the same hot food every day and was not really to our taste. The eggs were dried up, sausages were not very good quality. However the fruit, breads, cheeses etc were good so we did find something that we liked. Entertainment/Bar Carmina was our first entertainer. Wow, she was absolutely 5* what a singer with lots of energy. She sang for hours without a break, sang songs to suit all ages, we could have listened to her all night, every night. Absolutely amazing and the best entertainer we have ever heard in Benalmadena over the many years we have visited. The Tuesday entertainers were very good also. Missed the karaoke. Ruben was also fantastic, he had a great voice and the guitarist was also very good.. Bar staff were also very good. Overall a great hotel with great staff. We may return some day

Really good food for a buffet. One highlight was smoked salmon and asparagus but there were many more. Even the breakfast included crispy bacon and English sausages, along with four types of eggs! (Incidentally, free Cava at 8AM?!) The staff are all excellent at what they do and friendly too. Be aware than much of the clientele are German, but there are Dutch and UK people as well as Spanish. The age group is generally over 70 with entertainment to match, so a chachacha or even a line dance would be much more likely than punching the air or throwing some shapes. Nonetheless, if you’re fine with that, this is a fine choice for a few days near the marina.

This is the 4th time in 2 years we have stayed here. It is positioned right on the beach so lovely and flat for walking. The staff are superb and everyone who goes loves Billy in the restaurant. A real character.

Daily evening entertainment was great especially as we went early Feb. Good choice of food in dining room. Staff very helpful and friendly. Room and bed were very comfortable. Only downfall was tea/coffee facilities not replenished fully every day with not enough milk left.

Renovation ongoing at Reception making some noise and space restrictions. Otherwise excellent.

A brilliant location right next to Benalmadena marina, exceptionally clean and possibly the best staff we’ve encountered. Friendly, always smiling, and efficient too.We highly recommend this hotel

A great time in the hotel, our family came at different times. At each time the hotel was excellent in all aspects to our family

Superb hotel and in a great location. My room was upgraded to a walk in shower facility which I requested. The standard rooms have a shower over the bath which I consider unsafe and need at least non slip bath mats to prevent accidents. Most guests over 60 at the time of my visit.

The quality of the staff is excellent. The rooms are satisfactory but the access into the showers is unsafe and dangerous. Need wet rooms as a matter of urgency

The Mac Puerto Marina hotel is in an ideal position on the marina in Benalmadena. It’s a very relaxing hotel and just what we needed for our holiday. The staff were all very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. Our balcony room was overlooking the courtyard and had a view of the sea in the distance. It was a lovely room with plenty of space and the most comfortable bed ever 😁. The free drinks in the fridge on arrival were very welcome. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice and there was even cava on offer. We had free use of the spa but didn’t use this facility so cannot comment. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Situated in the middle of the town, in close proximity to both the beach and the marina, provided easy access to the abundance of excellent bars, restaurants, and shops. The room was a good size, clean, and perfectly suitable and the hotel staff were friendly, helpful and considerate.

Third time at the Mac! Definitely the last.Its deteriorated, towels were like bath mats or wripped and frayed. Rooms not cleaned adequately, sheets not changed in 3 days, unopened champagne taken from room! NoToiletries bedroom floors not clean bathroom dirty! This is NOT 4* extortionate prices.Should not be advertised as fabulous or 4*

Absolutely one of the best short stay holidays i have ever had. From the moment I checked in to the moment I checked out, I couldn't praises the hotel staff enough. Monica. The lady who helped us most with our enquiries, is a credit to the company and should be rewarded for her excellent customer service .

The hotel is in a fantastic location. The staff were amazing and I think they are the star of this hotel. The food was a bit of a let down. It could be better. It hasn't changed for a while now since before COVID. It's kind of bland.
